It is the perfect place to bring a family of all ages or friends looking to start their Halloween season of dress up and adult beverages. The CRA of Boynton Beach makes this event bigger and better every year. The weather was very hot and there needed to be more cool off areas. The food area was well set up but I thought the vendors didn't have enough variety on their menu but what they were serving was delicious or looked delicious. Well the Boca Black box, a small and intimate venue on Glades Road in Boca Raton is a hidden gem to say the least. The Black Box hosts some of the greatest country, 60's, 70's and 80's cover bands! Many are national acts that find their way to this wonderful little venue and light the place up. The owner, Randy is warm and inviting. I believe he did some standup comedy in his younger days, as he does a few minutes of comedy in the stage before each show. The venue seats only about 280 people. There is regular auditorium type seating and my favorite, personal tables along the perimeter that seat up to 8 people each. The ticket prices are very good and well worth it! The service is excellent and you are never left without a cocktail before and during the show. The waitresses are always walking around checking on everyone. They are friendly and friendly warm. Randy must be doing something right as I have been going to shows there for 3 years and the wait staff never changes. I know most of them personally now and always receive a warm welcome. There is noIt much in the way of food there, so enjoy a nice dinner before or after the show at one of the many restaurants located right near the venue. Give it a try! Relive your youth with some of the greatest cover bands in the USA. Party safely and enjoy life!

The variety of artwork presented, the types of art shown, and the various raw materials used made this festival a huge success. I find the venue also roomy and wide, allowing for easy pedestrian traffic. I bought a nice piece depicting sandpipers on the beach and I love the piece. Great artists from all over the world, although most of them from the US. There were some food trucks right in the heart of the festival selling arepas for $8, sausages for $14 and lemonade for just under $10.....sit down restaurants, coffee shops and pizza places were also nearby for those wanting a bite to eat.

The entrance begins at E Atlantic Avenue and NE 4th Ave. and proceeds north for two full blocks. The art is set up in tents on the closed off street. You can get free parking at the I-Pic garage and walk the block over. The event attracted over 100 exhibitors showcasing hand created art works which included glass, photography, paint, mixed media, jewelry, metal, wood, and textiles. My favorite art in the festival were the colorful dog paintings, the pictures made out of colored pencils, anything with mermaid s and flamingos, and the whimsical mailboxes. The weather was gorgeous and I always love visiting Delray Beach. There are a ton of great places to eat and drink steps away from the fair on Atlantic Avenue. If you missed this art fair, there will be another one held on January 15th at SE 5th St over the Intracoastal and extending on to A1A. Nothing beats enjoying beautiful weather at art fairs in January in Florida.

The Alabama Shakes crowd is a chill one, so a lot of people had blankets and were sitting on the outdoor lawn. We got a nice standing spot up front and caught a vibe all night. Some people brought lawn chairs but it seems like the venue has different dates or events where lawn chairs or acceptable or not, this was not that night. Parking is not too far away so they put them back and came back with blankets to sit on. There are a variety of food and beverage vendors. Pizza, sandwiches, hot dogs, empanadas, fries, cocktails, beer, lemonade, water-- there is something for everyone here.

There is no formal seating it's all lawn seating. Nice Amphitheater with a view of a lake and they have restrooms. There are food vendors so there's plenty to eat. You cannot bring in food you're only allowed to bring in one sealed bottle of water. The Acoustics and lighting were good. And there is plenty of free parking which is a bonus these days since most venues charge $ 20 plus to park

I've been to iThink Financial many times before and it has been somewhat of a hit or miss in terms of the enjoyment of the venue. However, over the last few times I've gone, especially for my most recent concerts there, they've gone above and beyond making sure their guests are not only comfortable and having a great time, but safe as well. Summer concerts can be brutal. Especially at a venue like iThink which is outdoors. However, the staff provided free water for anyone that needed. Also, the large fans in the overhang did a decent job keeping the air circulating. We were front row for Hilary Duff and it was truly an experience like no other. We could see Hilary perfectly and she could see us too! Knowing the artist can actually see the audience, especially those upfront was huge. There was several times she pointed at us and even mimicked a dance move as I was doing during "Why Not?" - oh, girl I was SHAKING. The music sounded great and there were enough screens for everyone to see her clearly no matter where they were in the crowd. The stage and show itself was not the only thing that made this venue enjoyable. The concessions were abundant and offered variety. We really wanted a tour-exclusive light up cup. Unfortunately, the first stand we went to sold out, but we eventually found them at a different stand just on the other side of the venue. The drinks that came in those cups were delicious and didn't feel like a waste of money. You absolutely got what you paid for. Now, as with every concert, concessions and tour-exclusive merch tends to be expensive and that was true here as well. However, iThink has a 2 chicken salad wraps for $10 deal that we absolutely took advantage of. The wraps were yummy and kept us satisfied for the rest of the night. The staff and security guards were very attentive! We were actually checked on a few times throughout the night and made friends with one of the security guards . They were friendly and made you feel safe. All in all, iThink Financial has all the makings of a great venue: good seats, good music output, good concessions, and a great staff. I'll be back for more shows in the future!

The food choices were all there, but presented poorly. No mustard or relish for the hot dogs. The fried dumplings were served on a sauce similar to General Tsao's, but none of the other dipping sauces advertised could be found anywhere. All of that said, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our seats were comfortable and the video screens big and easy to watch, even when our view of the stage was blocked. I wish there was a meaningful way to suggest changes to management, but I suspect they simply don't care.

The event is spread out so you don't feel overcrowded. All the vendors were friendly. There were plenty of trash cans to throw your sample plates away. You got to vote on your favorite dish. I chose Dada's bacon wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates. They are amazing! The live music was great too. There is parking in the garage just to the north of the venue. Overall, a great night!

The event for the most part was well organized. The ticket booth was fast and efficient. All the booze was the outer row and the food the inner row. I have to say there were a lot fewer restaurants representing this year which made the food to booze ratio quite off. Less tables to sit and eat from, also made it harder to socialize and juggle all the cups, food containers and plate. Music as per last event was exceptional and I love that they use a local band out of Lake Worth that really know how to throw a party. As for the food, Hullabaloo stole it for me, their pork belly was to die for and I probably, and unashamedly had about 5. DaDa was there with their classic goat cheese and chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in peppercorn bacon, BrusRoom showed up with a boneless buffalo wing, Melting pot did a little dessert medley with melted chocolate, Seasons 52 had mini desserts (red belted, smores, cheesecake), Bella Luna had a seafood bisque and cheese pieces - that sums up the food options. As for booze, there was at least 4-5 breweries, 4 wineries and a whole lot of liquor. My favorite new find was a chipotle infused silver tequila called Tanteo which the lady was nice enough to give me a mini bottle to take since I became an instant fan. Overall I had a good night, I do think the last event was better overall, and the tickets were pricey considering there wasn't as much food, but a good event for a good cause nevertheless.

Every seat is a good seat inside and I sat in the very last row and had a great view. The inside lobby is very small (basically just a hallway) with a small space for the box office and some snacks. The snacks they sold were just some drinks, candy, and chips. There's places to get a meal or snack nearby, though. The service inside was very kind. I'll definitely be back here for another show if I'm in the area.

Today the Lake Worth Playhouse hosts a children's summer theater camp, movies, drag bingo, fundraisers, concerts, tribute bands ... This evening I was invited by PBS to On the Town in the Palm Beaches 'Set Jetting Screening Event with Frank Lacari. The stadium seating was very comfortable with a lot of legroom. When we walked into the historic theater we passed markers, plaques and photographs detailing the history of this 100+ theater in its 74th season. The Oakley, brothers from Illinois opened a movie and vaudeville theater in Lake Worth. They purchased this 55 ft plot on Lake Ave. In 1924, they spent $150,000, then considered a fortune & the Oakley Theater opened, screening the silent film Welcome Stranger. Four years later the theater was devastated by the 1928 Okeechobee hurricane, "the largest single loss in the city", according to The Palm Beach Post. The roof collapsed with only the stage and some offices surviving the storm. They reopened in 1929 with sound only to get bankrupted by the depression. In the 1950's & 70's it was The Playtoy with pornography, being raided 10+ times. In 1974, the Lake Worth Playhouse Organization purchased the Playtoy, for $60,000. Since the theater was renovated & has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2005, Hurricane Wilma tore part of the roof, destroyed equipment, flooded dressing rooms & damaged the stage. Repairs were made in time for the 2024 centennial with a Roaring Twenties-style party.

Nicknamed the "Greatest Show under the Sun" this is one of the largest arts & craft festival in the Southeast with over 500 vendors, food options & official merchandise for sale too. It was a very very crowded day here. I'm amazed we found free street parking a block away. I wore my Delray Affair shirt from previous years. We arrived at 1:00 and found metered parking off Atlantic Ave. Happily the app was changed for the weekend so we could stay here all day. Shuttle bus & free golf cart transport was available for the weekend. We walked along 7 blocks of palm tree lined streets in downtown Delray Beach. The Delray Affair has received numerous awards for its 'eclectic' mixture of art, great crafts & funky products from around the world. Artists & crafters from all around the country exhibit here.

It was one long street filled with artwork and vendors. I think event reached the beach. I could not walk that far. I had such a good time here. I am doing it again next year. They had so many food vendors and it smelled so good. They were located betweenthe streets. I ended up getting some kettle corn. I could not resist. They also had many restaurants located next to the event to choose from. The event is free and it's three days long. It is very well organized. Finding a public bathroom was an adventure. There are parking spots near the event and a garage. The city also provided a shuttle that came every thirty minutes.
