Tin Roof isn't the typical bar. They advertise themselves as a live music venue, and I went because they were having an emo night with a live band. The vibe was fun, and everyone was into the music instead of just focusing on drinking. It felt like a mini concert! I feel like at a lot of bars it's hard to get the bartender's attention to order a drink, but that wasn't eh case here. I got the rum runner and it was really good. It tasted like I was on vacation! There's a parking garage only a couple minute walk away that's $1.50 an hour, which isn't bad at all. read more

I came here recently and I don't drink anymore so I was looking to eat something. Kitchen is open late-- I love that!! My friends and I are here from Atlanta celebrating a birthday - we were here for a while, got there around 8 pm. We had some bags with us, nobody cared and we had our hands stamped. (We are all 27+). My friend left to take a phone call and was denied reentry because of a beach bag that we had in there the entire time. She tried to come back in and one of the security guards with a Gators hat I believe - tall, white guy - did not just deny her for the bag but took her ID and threw it into the middle of the street. I have never before seen anything like this. Then, he went to look for it in the bushes for 10 minutes straight because he could not even remember where he threw it. Not sure if he had been drinking? He finally found it, handed it back to her and instead of apologizing said "Here, bitch." We had been dancing and enjoying the band before then so not sure why the complete animosity. Also illegal to take someone's ID from them. Thank God he ended up finding it (in the middle of a VERY busy road) and giving it back, as we have a flight tomorrow. Craziest thing I have experienced as we were only denied originally because of a bag we came in with only an hour and a half before that. Please do better. read more

I absolutely love when there are live bands because there's such a range of music that everyone has a good time. I have been downtown Delray many times and this place has always been crazy busy. We've never gone in to party with the rest of the crowd, only to pee. I did see on Instagram about the Halloween Drag show. Sign me up !! The show did start a bit late which was a bit disappointing since we had to leave early for other plans. Our waitress was great and sweet. The show was phenomenal and we had a blast. We had a basic breakfast which was all carbs to help with the drinking. The lovely ladies were dressed in Disney costumes and doing some karaoke. You had clothes being removed, hair flying and little kids watching from the outside. This was hilarious in every way possible. We were throwing around dollar bills, clapping and glued to this amazing show they performed. We came on a Sunday for a Drag Show brunch. We were told to arrive at 10:30-1050 and doors would open at 11:00. So we obliged and got there at 10:40 . Then we proceeded to wait outside for an hour. Literally an hour. We were finally allowed in at 1140. There was a buffet with plastic small plates and prepackaged cutlery. We were told we could go through the line once, first, then find our seats. The choices were limp salad with damp crotons, powdered eggs with congealed cheese, sausage, bacon and ham, and hash browns. Then you had to go back to the front of the line to get the syrup or salad dressings, which were out of plastic bowls and had tiny plastic spoons to try to dribble them onto your plate. The one for the syrup fell into the bowl and everyone was then trying to pick up the whole bolt pour some onto their plates which resulted in a few mini disasters. When you got to your table, good luck on setting everything down without it wobbling and falling off. Our tabletop was extremely loose. We were trying to get a waitress' attention so that we could order the bottomless mimosas. They were extremely understaffed and we were finally able to flag one down almoat an hour later at 1230. The bathrooms were smelly and wet and disgusting. The people in charge were obviously not having a good day, but were taking it out on all of us. We were all very frustrated. I would not recommend anyone going here. The drag queens were phenomenal. If they go to a different venue, I would definitely follow them there. read more

This place is just okay. My group and I stopped at Tin Roof on a Saturday night and it was very lively. Big outdoor and indoor space, projectors and plenty of TVs, lots of attentive bartenders and located in a very convenient location. Went back the next day for football Sunday and all regretted it. It was cool because they were playing all 1pm games and labeled each tv showing which game was on. My group and I were inside and the bartender was busy the ENTIRE time with his big group of friends who refused to get a table at one of the many empty tables and just stand blocking the tv. The bartender was busy chatting up with them the entire time. Service was just awful. We finally got our food and we were so disappointed in the nachos. It was pretty pricey for nachos that hardly had any toppings. It was a disappointing appearance and I'm surprised they brought it out. Wings were good and I would recommend that if you must order food from here. We went to the bar next door to finish watching the football game, which was wayyyy better for multiple reasons. However, they weren't playing our game so we went back to Tin Roof 30-40minutes later. Our trash, dirty plates, etc were all still on the table and the bartender was still chatting up a storm with his friends. Come here for a Saturday night but do not come for football. Let's say it took my friends and I at-least 3 days to recover from bottle service here LOL yes I'm in my mid 30's and it looked like everyone was younger but regardless this spot was fun. When we arrived, we skipped the entire HUGE line since we had a table! (Win!) A bunch of friends came down for the weekend and decided to get bottle service. Which included choice of bottles, mixers, ice buckets, my name in bright lights AND a huge blow up photo of me on poster board (yes I was mortified) but it was so fun! We sang and danced! When the outside DJ left around 12 - we moved inside. My only complaint to bottle service ($1200 estimate price) was there was no closed off section for us or any security.. people would use our area as a walk way to get inside, use bathroom, etc. and to leave their trash...SO annoying. Don't treat your customers this way! She tried to blame me by saying I should have requested the bottomless option after she just told me they don't offer that anymore. Best thing about Tin Roof is that you can peruse the age of the crowd and checkout the band on stage without having to make a commitment to walk in and stay. You can see both from the outside and decide. Most nights, the crowd are 20 somethings sprinkled with some retired couples. Don't let that deter you from entering and creating a fun night for yourself. You will be carded regardless. So far, every band they've had were excellent and definitely crowd pleased. My buddy and I stopped in for a little pre game around 4pm. on a Sunday. Recommended by my daughter and I see why. A mixed crowd , but definitely a younger crowd. It was pretty packed, they have another building on the other side of the open courtyard, but that doesn't open till 5pm. We found a open table inside right next to the stage. There was not live music, but there was a dj playing outside. Very loud, hard to have a conversation, and was playing mostly hip hop. We had 2 Stella drafts, and ordered wings and a Philly cheesesteak with fries. Wings were good, Fries were cooked perfectly and the cheesesteak was awesome. We then ordered a rum punch, and the dj started playing more recognizable songs. Crowd was lit, lots of people dancing and having a good time. Rum punch was very good. If you are looking for a quiet sit down place , this is not for you. Stop in , get some good food and enjoy the vibe. read more

I came with a group of about 12 people for emo brunch. Unbeknownst to us, the brunch was held in the interest bar space. This was not conducive for our very large group because there's not enough seat in in the bar and the music was so loud that we wouldn't be able to talk to each other. We ended up sitting on the patio. Fine. We weren't too upset. Not a single person was happy with their food. Everything came out bit by bit, missing items that should have been included, over dressed salads, and bland flavors. One person even sent their food back. The food is cheap because all it is is cheap bar food. Probably wonderful at 1am when your drunk with the girl's, but don't spend the money for it sober. Our service was also extremely slow. We were practically trying to hunt down the waitress by the end just so we could all pay and leave. The only saving grace was the DJ. A few of us decided to move into the bar after brunch and enjoy the music. The drinks were good and the music was better. Honestly, I won't be back. read more
