I used to come here and drink when I did drink years ago. All the drinks were great quality and came at a cheap price! Okay but let's talk about the food. I came here recently and I don't drink anymore so I was looking to eat something. Kitchen is open late-- I love that!! The food I got was the loaded tater tots as an appetizer and then one of the smash burgers as my entree. When I say this food was delicious and totally blew my mind, you better believe it! I was not expecting the food here to be all that great. I didn't care if it was going to be regular bar food or whatever. But man, they really exceeded my expectations! Tinroof is one of my favorite bars in Delray. The bartenders are quick, the staff is kind and the place is managed well. I absolutely love when there are live bands because there's such a range of music that everyone has a good time. We came on a Sunday for a Drag Show brunch. We were told to arrive at 10:30-1050 and doors would open at 11:00. So we obliged and got there at 10:40 . Then we proceeded to wait outside for an hour. Literally an hour. We were finally allowed in at 1140. There was a buffet with plastic small plates and prepackaged cutlery. We were told we could go through the line once, first, then find our seats. The choices were limp salad with damp crotons, powdered eggs with congealed cheese, sausage, bacon and ham, and hash browns. Then you had to go back to the front of the line to get the syrup or salad dressings, which were out of plastic bowls and had tiny plastic spoons to try to dribble them onto your plate. The one for the syrup fell into the bowl and everyone was then trying to pick up the whole bolt pour some onto their plates which resulted in a few mini disasters. When you got to your table, good luck on setting everything down without it wobbling and falling off. Our tabletop was extremely loose. We were trying to get a waitress' attention so that we could order the bottomless mimosas. They were extremely understaffed and we were finally able to flag one down almoat an hour later at 1230. The bathrooms were smelly and wet and disgusting. The people in charge were obviously not having a good day, but were taking it out on all of us. We were all very frustrated. I would not recommend anyone going here. The drag queens were phenomenal. If they go to a different venue, I would definitely follow them there. read more

Let's say it took my friends and I at-least 3 days to recover from bottle service here LOL yes I'm in my mid 30's and it looked like everyone was younger but regardless this spot was fun. When we arrived, we skipped the entire HUGE line since we had a table! (Win!) A bunch of friends came down for the weekend and decided to get bottle service. Which included choice of bottles, mixers, ice buckets, my name in bright lights AND a huge blow up photo of me on poster board (yes I was mortified) but it was so fun! We sang and danced! When the outside DJ left around 12 - we moved inside. My only complaint to bottle service ($1200 estimate price) was there was no closed off section for us or any security.. people would use our area as a walk way to get inside, use bathroom, etc. and to leave their trash...SO annoying. I have been downtown Delray many times and this place has always been crazy busy. We've never gone in to party with the rest of the crowd, only to pee. I did see on Instagram about the Halloween Drag show. Sign me up !! The show did start a bit late which was a bit disappointing since we had to leave early for other plans. Our waitress was great and sweet. The show was phenomenal and we had a blast. We had a basic breakfast which was all carbs to help with the drinking. The lovely ladies were dressed in Disney costumes and doing some karaoke. You had clothes being removed, hair flying and little kids watching from the outside. This was hilarious in every way possible. We were throwing around dollar bills, clapping and glued to this amazing show they performed. We usually come here on sundays. Today was a new bartender from the Fort Lauderdale location. The website clearly states bottomless mimosas til 3pm. She charged me $9 each and then said she needed a manager to change the bill when I questioned her. A manager never came and she adjusted my bill from $107 to $51. She knew better. Don't treat your customers this way! She tried to blame me by saying I should have requested the bottomless option after she just told me they don't offer that anymore. This place is just okay. My group and I stopped at Tin Roof on a Saturday night and it was very lively. Big outdoor and indoor space, projectors and plenty of TVs, lots of attentive bartenders and located in a very convenient location. Went back the next day for football Sunday and all regretted it. It was cool because they were playing all 1pm games and labeled each tv showing which game was on. My group and I were inside and the bartender was busy the ENTIRE time with his big group of friends who refused to get a table at one of the many empty tables and just stand blocking the tv. The bartender was busy chatting up with them the entire time. Service was just awful. We finally got our food and we were so disappointed in the nachos. It was pretty pricey for nachos that hardly had any toppings. It was a disappointing appearance and I'm surprised they brought it out. Wings were good and I would recommend that if you must order food from here. We went to the bar next door to finish watching the football game, which was wayyyy better for multiple reasons. However, they weren't playing our game so we went back to Tin Roof 30-40minutes later. Our trash, dirty plates, etc were all still on the table and the bartender was still chatting up a storm with his friends. Come here for a Saturday night but do not come for football. Best thing about Tin Roof is that you can peruse the age of the crowd and checkout the band on stage without having to make a commitment to walk in and stay. You can see both from the outside and decide. Most nights, the crowd are 20 somethings sprinkled with some retired couples. Don't let that deter you from entering and creating a fun night for yourself. You will be carded regardless. So far, every band they've had were excellent and definitely crowd pleased. My buddy and I stopped in for a little pre game around 4pm. on a Sunday. Recommended by my daughter and I see why. A mixed crowd , but definitely a younger crowd. It was pretty packed, they have another building on the other side of the open courtyard, but that doesn't open till 5pm. We found a open table inside right next to the stage. There was not live music, but there was a dj playing outside. Very loud, hard to have a conversation, and was playing mostly hip hop. We had 2 Stella drafts, and ordered wings and a Philly cheesesteak with fries. Wings were good, Fries were cooked perfectly and the cheesesteak was awesome. We then ordered a rum punch, and the dj started playing more recognizable songs. Crowd was lit, lots of people dancing and having a good time. Rum punch was very good. I don't know if she was new at this or what but I don't understand when people don't write down an order we ordered a couple salads, wings, and a burger She asked me if I wanted to ranch or blue cheese and then she forgot the blue cheese and I asked her to bring me my blue cheese and by the time she brought that we were already done eating and she got to bring our second glass of wine and forgot to bring the ketchup For our tater tots because they were out of french fries which she did not tell us until she brought out our order and then I asked her for her to go box and took her quite a while to get that and then I had to ask her for a bag for my Tiggle box 4 times. We also received our check and with our check she didn't take the sprite off and she didn't take The Modelo off that they did not have so it was a very long lunch only because she constantly forgot everything that we ordered didn't get any of it right again. I just wish you would write it down. There was only three of us. It was not that hard and I have done this business before I was a waitress back in the day, so it's not that hard And we are very easy-going so it just seemed like it was just ridiculous. I came with a group of about 12 people for emo brunch. Unbeknownst to us, the brunch was held in the interest bar space. This was not conducive for our very large group because there's not enough seat in in the bar and the music was so loud that we wouldn't be able to talk to each other. We ended up sitting on the patio. Fine. We weren't too upset. Not a single person was happy with their food. Everything came out bit by bit, missing items that should have been included, over dressed salads, and bland flavors. One person even sent their food back. The food is cheap because all it is is cheap bar food. Probably wonderful at 1am when your drunk with the girl's, but don't spend the money for it sober. Our service was also extremely slow. We were practically trying to hunt down the waitress by the end just so we could all pay and leave. The only saving grace was the DJ. A few of us decided to move into the bar after brunch and enjoy the music. The drinks were good and the music was better. Honestly, I won't be back. read more

The band takes the stage at 6, and this place becomes an absolute shitshow of senior citizens hitting on each other and shaking their groove things. If you are 65+, this is a must do. The band really isn't bad and you will absolutely find people to dance with. Under 65, you will still have fun, but you might get annoyed at some "old people" behavior. Rudeness and crankiness towards waitstaff, bad to nonexistent tipping. If you're under 50, this is not going to be your scene at all. This outdoor bar is bringing life to the ave and I love it! There are so many wonderful bars in Delray, but for some reason people seem to become easily obsessed with this place. I can't figure exactly what it is about this place that draws people in- it could be the lively crowd, funky colored lights, live music, or the great specials! What I like most about Tin Roof is their events. You can always count on entertainment when you come here and can even find their event schedule online. I came here for a Halloween pineapple carving and although I didn't prebook tickets so I never got to carve, the entire place was decked out with Stranger Things decor!! It was AWESOME and they were even playing episodes as I munched on their happy hour treats. Their appetizers are bomb and you absolutely can't beat half off apps. We ordered practically every appetizer they had to share and spent a whopping $18! Who can argue with that?! Oh- and did I mention they have karaoke? I don't know about you but I love watching people get on stage because it makes me feel like I'm in an episode of American idol. Very fun experience. read more
