Absolutely fantastic spot! I was in Dallas for the evening and dropped in at the suggestion of friend and a high Yelp review. I found the bar staff extremely friendly (more than willing to start up a chat with a random newcomer) and the drinks tasty. Great place for a beer, some music, and a social but sensible crowd. - Twilite Lounge has a soft spot for the local jazz bands in Dallas. I've seen at least three of them play here, and there is usually no shortage of dancing happening. - The beer selection is nice. They pick several quality locals for the draft list and have several more available via bottles. - When you go here, make sure to explore all the way to the back patio. Did New Orleans just come to Dallas? Because I thought I was in the wrong city when I checked this place out. It definitely has a Garden District vibe. We went for some drinks and karaoke, and I genuinely loved this place for its old school charm but in a very minimalist decor approach. Chandeliers on the ceiling and votives on the tables made way to a large garden patio with wrought iron chairs. Big place, great drinks- they could make your artisan cocktail, and they have that beer you tried at the snooty pub. Very young hipster scene with a view of people hanging out in their lofts on the other side of Elm. Great place to end the night with a group of friends (HUGE patio) or to meet someone at the bar. Great chill hangout spot, I went at around 9-10pm on a Saturday night and it was a really great vibe, they had games you could play with your friends, later into the night though if they have a performance it can get packed, not ridiculously packed but you might have to stand. It's still a great place with a good vibe though. Drinks were kinda expensive and not strong though. read more

decent little bar and a surprising feel and vibe (It feels more like knox/henderson) for deep ellum. My main issue and the unforgivable sin is that they charge for "rocks". They don't tell you this when you order it but it shows up itemized on the bill - $1 for rocks -- This is the great plague of bars in this area right now. It's ridiculous. Make the same pour regardless of ice/no ice or build it into the price. Just don't itemize it on the bill. read more

We were bar hopping in deep ellum on a Sunday before our concert at HOB. This is an Ok little bar in deep ellum with a Great bathroom. Most dive bars bathrooms are a place to avoid at all cost, but not here. We both had to frozen jack and coke and it was pretty tasty. Will def go back when in the area. read more

One of the best little spots in Deep Ellum, it's a particular favorite when day drinking on a Saturday! If Elliott is behind the bar, order a cocktail - he's a pro at slinging excellent drinks!! The mint mule is goddamn delicious. I'd drink a pitcher of that by myself if I could - but then, they probably would ask me never to come back. Their bathroom is also actually really nice. I didn't experience the normal mild anxiety most bar bathrooms give me. They even have tampons, lotions, etc. available. I didn't use them, but damn that's a considerate thing to have. Only thing is that seating can be tricky if you want to chill for awhile and it's busy. Otherwise the vibe is great. read more

Officially one of my favorite bars in Deep Ellum. We came on a Wednesday night and hung out outside. They have an adorable seating outside area with instagram worthy walls. You have to order inside thought which we didn't know. (We were sitting outside for 20 mins before we realized). I got the Ruby something (can't remember the exact name) but it was a mixed drink. It was super fruity and you can't taste the alcohol but I reaaaally liked it!! It was about $8 so it was decentlyl priced. We had just come from a bar where drinks were more than $10 so it was much appreciated. The booths are also super cute and I like how they were rounded! Even though we were there are a weekday, they had live music which was super nice! read more

We were in Dallas for dinner and wanted to go somewhere to grab a drink so we went to the Twilite Lounge! Walking in to the bar is from a really busy street and I was a little worried about how busy it would be inside. But walking into the Twilite Lounge is like walking into another world. When we got there some live music was setting up inside so we went out on the back patio and it was exactly what we wanted. Nice and secluded and a quiet place away from the busyness. Their drinks are delicious! The only downside is parking can be difficult especially on a weekend evening. read more

Best bathrooms in Deep Ellum... y'all this is my favorite bar in Dallas but beware of Fridays and Saturdays- it's PACKED. Lines to aforementioned bathrooms are a mile long. We went there after seeing the reviews on yelp and we liked the interior and the concept and of course the live music. But at least on this particular night the music was not very good. I've heard lots of good things about Twilite so I had to check it out for myself. Well, I must say that Twilite lived up to the hype and even exceeded my expectations. If you get there early enough, you can score a table and some space. Luckily we did. The bartenders are extremely attentive and come around frequently to pick up empty glasses and take drink orders. A+ for that, as that is unheard of in bars these days. The ladies bathroom was nice, clean, and well-stocked. Twilite gets five stars from me on account of its awesomeness. read more

Doorman wouldn't let us in twice.. First time didn't say why just closed the door in our face. Came back a second time and couldn't get in because one of my friends didn't have a debit card even though he had plenty of cash... So could have a debit card with no money in the bank and get in, but have actual currency in hand and get rejected? 1 star. Sorry. Could only review the outside. This is a cool lounge. The live music was nice and the mini mule drink is great. My only complaint is there was a leak towards the center of the room and it was pretty wide; at least four other people around me felt droplets as well. It kinda killed the vibe but not entirely. A little divey bar here in Deep Ellum awesome beer selection great staff decent outside patio. Love to see when local bars and pubs sell local brew and seasonals that's a plus. I have a real problem with the frozen Irish coffees... Primarily that I crave them weekly. They are so delicious! Small tap beer selection but it's stocked with a lot of great local breweries. Amazing choice of spirits. Great jukebox and patio out back when the weather is nice. Vibe is very casual and great for groups both large and small. Stop in next time you're in Deep Ellum and you won't be disappointed. read more
