So nice, because I had put off any work in my mouth over anxiety about what professionals would say. I appreciate how wonderful, nice, and professional they all are. Comparing my previous orthodontist before we moved (which I love, too) and Pura Vida... Things are moving fast! I think, I took so much time expressing my anxieties to my first orthodontist, he was taking things slow. but with Pura Vida, we are moving right along. Both had great experiences and the price was way more reasonable than Village Orthodontics. (My daughter had "phase one" done there.) I know Invisiline isn't for everyone, but if you or your child are a teeth grinder they will protect your teeth from damage. You get a set of super sturdy liners at the end of treatment that act as a mouthguard for night. Instead of a retainer. Mouthguards on their own are expensive, so we were happy to get four of them. Each one will last over five years! Dr. Montgomery is always so joyful with all of his patients! The entire staff is attentive and super friendly. Best of all are the smiles my kids have that will last a lifetime!

I got a crown and a cleaning, and I'm very happy with my crown (so far). The cons, however, are... - They wrote down my birthday incorrectly, which at first was hilarious because I was flattered that they thought I was 18 yo. But then I was concerned that they wrote down the month, day AND year incorrectly. - After receiving my Novocain injection before applying my new crown, the Dr. left the room to let it set in. Several minutes later, I got up and looked around to give the hint like "hey, I'm still in here, let's get this show on the road". FFwd to 40+ freakin minutes later! The Dr. returned and said there was an emergency, which is understandable, but someone could have told me while I waited impatiently, instead of just blinking at me when I poked me head out of the room. - After paying, I asked the receptionist if I could have a toothbrush... and she said no! Even though they just got hundreds of dollars out of my new crown, they couldn't spare a toothbrush (only after I got a cleaning, she said). Jeez. - When I still did end up coming back for a cleaning (and finally my toothbrush hehe), the dental assistant scraped my teeth SO aggressively that I asked her to stop. Oof. TL;DR My teeth are clean and my crown is holding up, but I experienced some really bizarre service!

As a 30-something male, I am what you'd probably consider to be a non-traditional patient since I am often older than many of the parents sitting in the waiting room with their kids. I was quite nervous about moving forward with getting braces for all the usual reasons--cost, care, inconvenience, getting teased by school yard bullies etc. Ok,I embellished the last one, but you catch my drift. From my initial consultation with Cara, I was put at ease and impressed with the care that the staff puts forth. She helped me figure out what my insurance would cover and all the money matters, even making a friendly inquiry months later since I was dragging my feet on going through with it. I finally mustered up the courage about 6 months after my consultation and made the transformation to metal mouth. I am probably annoying with all of my questions ranging from important to insignificant, but the staff has all been so great to me throughout this process that my anxieties have been quelled. Dr. Chad Kelley has done nice work and I am very happy with how great my teeth are looking now. I am getting closer to the end of my treatment and am going to miss seeing all my new buddies I've made over the last 1.5 years. They seem to truly enjoy what they are doing and it makes for a better experience. I highly recommend TC Ortho to anyone that needs braces.
