Chili

The service here was excellent! The beers were really good. I had the steak salad. My steak was cooked exactly to my liking. And the dressing had a really nice spicy bite. I also had the chili. It was meaty and had a good mild spice to it.

Tressa at twin peaks on Friday evening

Tressa was absolutely the warmest friendliest bartender . She delivered the ambiance to epic proportions . Mom's pot roast was to die for , wow . Comfort food in a comfortable place with gorgeous on top . Thank you twin peaks for making my end of week so hot lol ! Xenia shout out for being kind and welcoming as well !

Michelob Ultra dressed with a Tajin rim and lime

We wanted to stop for a drink somewhere and I have always wanted to go to twin peaks. We went inside and it was like a cross between a hooters and a Buffalo Wild Wings. Loved the atmosphere. We sat at the bar. I ordered a draft Michelob ultra dressed with a tajin rim and lime. This beer was so cold ice came to the top of the glass. Absolute epic. I had two before we had to leave. Can't wait to go back and order some food.

Bailee did such an Amazon job serving us today on top with our drinks and food very assertive and attentive

Bailee did such an amazing job serving us fast with the drinks and food very friendly and assertive.

Ranch with pickles?!

I love twin peaks, I go to every week but this week I went to a different location, ordered what I usually ordered but it js wasn't good. Not only that but our food took long and there was several mistakes when handing out my order. On top of that I love my twin peaks blue cheese and this time it didn't taste good and it has pieces of pickle?!!! I cleaned it to show that it's clearly pieces of pickles and she had said it was blue cheese chunks. She also told me it was blue cheese when she handed me ranch, like i said I know the difference specially when i have this once a week. She also served me some old fries and they were so stale. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

Alyssa and Charlize were the best bartenders I've ever had. I would trust them with my life. I can't wait to come back again and sit with them!!!

The atmosphere at Woody's is really what makes it stand out. On a Friday or Saturday night, it's the kind of place that just comes alive--good energy, people having a great time, and a vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. If you're looking for a spot to unwind, have some fun, and be taken care of by a great staff, this is definitely a place to check out

The girl who checked us in was cool but then it wall went downhill from there We went to our pool table and started playing, now the pros..nice clean place, lots of TV's and tables and pretty spacious but the service was horrible The wait staff as you can imagine were women in their 20s which that type of place is expected, but with young ppl like that come arrogance, attitudes and laziness, we waited about 30 minutes to even be approached for drinks and the girl that came up to us seemed like she didn't want to be there but did it anyway b/c she was forced, but before that, all the waitresses were gathered at the front registers and completely ignoring us, how do I know, b/c ALL of them looked me straight in the eye and turned their heads or walked away from us, I had to wave my hands in the air and look like a fool to even be seen, then finally we got "Service" from "Tasia" The food was cold by the time we got it, the drinks were cool but the place is a bit overpriced but for that type of place, not surprised, throughout the visit our waitress (and others) walked to everyone else but us, so we felt ignored, I would pull the race card since I WAS the only brother in there but it was a mixed race crowd and wait staff so I can't play that card All in all we felt ignored not just by Tasia but the other wait staff the food was mediocre and overpriced and not that this review matters b/c unless you're an adult that expects decent service when you go to an establishment like this and not a 20 year old kid who pretty much doesn't care..this isn't the place for adults. Whiskey River has better service. But at least I checked it out and now that I have..this place makes me miss living in Katy.

I've been an avid Netherlands' futbol supporter over the last 30+ years and never knew a place existed in Houston.. but was pleasantly surprised to have seen this packed house with a very lively atmosphere inside.. They got a DJ, people were singing and dancing along to Dutch songs, definitely felt like a proper watch party. Most of the crowd there tho, like myself, weren't actually Dutch, but everyone was just there for the vibes. That said, we ended up standing outside because it was probably over capacity. Took me a good 30 minutes just to order a bucket of Heinekens. From what I can tell, this place's giving more of a neighborhood dive bar. It was hot and crowded as one can get (probably over capacity if you ask me.. the parking was hard to find in the neighborhoods nearby and we had to walk a good 5-10min), and $35 for a bucket of 6 small Heinekens isn't really the best deal.. but can't blame them. I did enjoy seeing the Dutch orange bus as it was out on display right outside the bar. Great photo op Overall I'm glad to have come and experienced it, would like to check this place out again under normal circumstances to get a better feel for it.

When I said no-frills, I meant it. The drink selection is quite slim and for someone who go out of their way for beer, there weren't really many other options. Our large party had a buffet of food - all of it was basic but tasty - panko-breaded chicken tenders, chips and queso, and quesadillas. Service was actually stellar throughout our time here. Bartenders and servers came around to our group frequently to ask if they could get us anything. I did not expect that from a divey bar like this. While I wasn't blown away by this place and probably don't have much reason to come back, I can see why folks would come out here for a drink or to watch a game, especially if living in the Spring Branch area.

We were all expecting bar food quality but everything was really good especially the chicken tacos and fruit salad. Major, major props on them for killing the hosting of our event. The bar is decently sized especially when you factor the inside portion and outside portion. However the bathrooms are tiny with only 1 urinal and 1 stall. There was constantly a line when we visited even on a Thursday night. Parking is also very limited. The lot is very small and does not fit many cars. The day before the game we hit up twin peaks after we arrived and checked into our hotel. Although it was cool there, we were looking for more football fans with vibes so we decided to check out Kirby Ice House and was so happy we did! The following day after we left our World Cup game, we went back to twin peaks to grab wings to go and headed back to Kirby's for the next 5 hours for the remaining games! It's a HUGE sports bar with LOTS of TVs and seating areas/options. If you don't mind the heat, they have a huge outdoor patio with plenty of TVs. Me?? We avoided that until the sun went down lol. The indoor bar area is massive, and the patio is just as big, making it great for large groups or events. It definitely has that laid-back, social vibe, and it's also dog-friendly, which is a nice touch. Customer service was good, and the drink prices were reasonable, especially for a place of this size and popularity. It did get pretty crowded, which adds to the energy if you're going for that kind of atmosphere. There isn't a full kitchen, but there was a food truck on-site (I believe it was Hearsay). It was okay--not bad, but nothing standout. You can also bring in outside food or order from nearby spots, which is convenient. Nothing super fancy or over-the-top, but if you're looking for a casual place to hang out, watch a game, and enjoy drinks with a group, this gets the job done.
