Sat down at 5:35 and waited 10 minutes to even see a waiter. Then our drinks took 15 minutes. We placed our food order at 6:00 pm. We received a salad at 6:15 and then no other food came. By 7:00 pm we were approached by the manager and only offered desert on the house while still not receiving an explanation where our food was. The food never showed up. They were not busy whatsoever and there was plenty of staff. A table of 10 sat down beside us 30 minutes later and received their food within 30 minutes. Unbelievable. Maybe the waiter was at fault. Pros: Our server was great and we were seated promptly (it was early on a Saturday). The food was fine. Better half got a chicken caesar and it was...an adequate chicken caesar salad. I got a soup (broccoli and cheddar) and house salad. They were fine. Was this all from Sysco? I'm sure. Was it decent? Yes. The bathrooms were clean enough. Refills of drinks were never an issue. Cons: I hate parking at Bridge Street, particularly if it's just to go eat (we were meeting people who chose the restaurant). Due to the extreme length of the menu, I have a feeling a lot of the entrees are sent to the microwave--yes, I've watched too many Kitchen Nightmares episodes. By the time we left, the "bros" were coming in for cheap beers and college football. I have a feeling the experience you have here is very much dependent on timing. Came here for lunch on Sunday. We were promptly seated and had out drink orders taken. The service was very good throughout. I've come here several times before and had a good experience for the most part, even with large parties. We ordered lemon pepper bone in wings, kids mac n. cheese with fruit, brocolli soup, Asian salad, and a medium/shareable deep dish pizza, an iced tea and a beer. My biggest complaint was that the pizza wasn't as good as previous visits. Deep dish pizza had very soft and doughy crust and almost no sauce. I requested and was given a side if sauce, but it didn't taste that good honestly. Wife thought the broccoli soup was good but that it came out slightly less than lukewarm (which is saying something, because I am constantly reheating dishes at home she things is 'hot enought'). Wife liked the chicken on her Asian salad and thought the portion was healthy. Wings were pretty good, and kid liked her mac n cheese. Just the pizza was a miss. My 5 They have a huge menu with a lot of beers on draft, a little pricey (most every meal will be $20 after tax) but that isn't necessarily a deal breaker. Service has always been good and I'll probably come back again for lunch (especially business lunches -- food comes quick!). Soooo I came to town for graduation after not being there for years.. wow Huntsville had a glow up! This restaurant was not packed at all at 11pm and one of the only places that was open. I went to order pizza and small bites for family. The wait was a bit longer than I wanted but the food came out good! I made a few modifications to my order after not being able to order online and it came out the way I asked for in person. The bar was still open and the parking lot was empty! I will say the restrooms could have def been cleaner & looks like every other BJs (standard)but all in all I'm grateful for food near midnight after being in airports all day; traveling from West to (basically) East Coast. read more

BJ's was an interesting pic as we haven't been going even to our local establishment where I live in CO Spgs. We used to love their shisito pepper appetizer and always loved some of their unique beers on tap. When we lived in Florida, we drove to BJ's in Port Orange from Titusville as we loved it. Sadly, similar story here in Huntsville. We were just looking for a place to eat as the steakhouse had a two hour wait and the other restaurant that we had drinks at had horrible service. BJ's has such a large menu that always makes ordering difficult. Our server was very nice and she hadn't worked there for even a week. I ordered the personal pizza (extreme pepperoni) and a beer. My pizza was on the greasy side but I still enjoyed the flavors. I did think for the size of the pizza it was pretty expensive. I was told I should try BJ's Restaurant, so I was finally able to. We went during the week at night, and the restaurant was pretty packed, but not too packed. When we entered, there wasn't a hostess around, so we had to wait for a table. You could tell that she was helping the staff. When we were seated, we took a look at the menus and checked out their Yelp reviews. We didn't realize they were rated so poorly, but eventually could tell why. The menus were very sticky. Almost like no one had wiped them down in a while. After waiting for about 10 mins., the hostess came over and apologized for our wait and took our drink orders. It appeared our waitress was stretched thin as she had quite a few tables and 2 of them with decent sized patrons. I ordered the Berry beer, but it tasted very flat. For it to be a Brewhouse, that was interesting. Our waitress, finally came to take our orders. I do appreciate that she apologized for the long wait. After hearing her suggestions, for appetizers, we ordered house wedge salads. It was weird because they came out at different times and mine didn't come with bacon, so we had to ask our waitress to bring some out. Also when my friend finally received theirs, their portion was much smaller than mine. Also, the timing was off because as soon as we received our salads, our entrees came, which allowed for our entrees to get cold. For our entrees, we ordered the New Orleans Jambalaya and the Slow-Roasted Tri-tip and Shrimp Scampi. The jambalaya was pretty decent. It was very spicy, but was a good sized portion. It came with chicken, shrimp, sausage, peppers, onions and of course, rice. What I didn't like was the long stringy slices of onions. It was just weird seeing them and trying to eat them so I was they were cut shorter. My friend said their Tri-tip was pretty good but it was lukewarm. I also tasted their shrimp scampi and it didn't taste fresh. It tasted like it came straight out of packaging so it wasn't appeasing at all. For the amount we spent on the meal, the food was just mediocre. However, the restaurant appeared to be clean. Visited during lunch hours. Wasn't many tables. The boneless wings were over cooked. We told our server what types of flavors we wanted for our dessert and that we were doing the trio. We were charge for full size and they were over cooked and took forever to get them. I paid by the qr code cause we needed to finished up as our server didn't communicate much with us. When we first got to the Westin hotel, we decided to go explore and find something to eat. I had heard of this restaurant before because it is a franchise, but had never eaten there before. It's definitely a sports bar vibe, but also a family vibe too. We started off with the mozzarella cheese sticks. They definitely give you quite a bit, so it's shareable plus some. I got the cheeseburger that was very good. I had a slice it in half because it was so big. The french fries were really good. My travel mate ended up getting the mild buffalo wings and enjoyed them. I did visit the bathroom facilities and it was very clean I cannot remember the name of our waiter, but he looked probably to be in his 20s and was very attentive. We sat in the bar area. This is a place. I will return to you on my next visit to Huntsville. read more

I came here last night with a group of friends to celebrate my 27th birthday. It's been years since I've been to BJ's, but this was a last minute restaurant choice, since my other choice didn't work out. The restaurant wasn't busy and we were quickly seated to our table. I can't remember the name of our waitress, but she was really nice and made sure we were welcomed. It took awhile for the food to arrive; but that's expected with a large group we had. I got the strawberry fields chicken salad and a bacon cheeseburger with fruit as the side. I also got a The Unlucky Duck without the alcohol....since I wanted the and the tub it came in. Best $10 purchase I've made in a while! My roommate Ana got the drink and she enjoyed it. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed their food. Best part of the night was when our waitress brought me a free cookie with ice cream. :) I hope to be here in the near future. Good times and good food. read more

Service was horrible sitting at the bar with not many people in before 4pm on a weekday. 2 regulars were sitting to my right and one female bartender talked to them for 20 minutes. Another gentleman sat to my left about 15 minutes after I sat down. He was from out of town also. The male bartender served me as soon as I sat down and gave me a menu then did the same to new gentleman. I kept waiting to order and had an empty drink after 30 minutes and then....well...let's just write....training needed here. A lot. Good chain but very very poor management of employees especially bartenders. Sliders were horrible and overcooked with no flavor. Wow. I come here for a fun night with my kids and beautiful wife Anna. I was seated quickly because of my reservation, which I created because I am on a time crunch. But then the madness started. I did not get a drink until 45 minutes after being seated (which has still not been refilled; and I am extremely thirsty). And I still have not received my food over a hour and half of being here. I am disappointed and starving. I have been working my butt off all day to get a good dinner for my kids and now they are crying out of hunger. Service is pretty bad and it usually has a long wait for the hostess. Their boneless wings are great, along with other bar type food. One thing is that their water tasted horrible. I'm not really sure why all the bad reviews. While BJ's isn't fine dining, I was very pleased with the food and the service. As a person with celiacs, I was very pleased with their gluten-free menu. For the first time in over 15 years, I had a French dip. They call it the prime rib dip, which was very, very good. We will definitely be returning. The happy hour prices are excellent, which included Tito's. My husband had the happy hour pizza. He said it was great and just the right size. Only suggestion is possibly have the hostess wipe down the doors as there were lots of dirty fingerprints and it's not a good first impression. Went in for dinner the other night. The atmosphere was dark and surprisingly romantic for a sports bar type of place but it was nice! I got the steak salad. Not sure why this place only has 2.5 stars. We were in town visiting family and decided to stop for lunch. Menu very diverse and had good choices for all involved. We were seated immediately even during Sunday afternoon lunch. Restaurant was clean and pleasant. I ordered the Chipotle Cherry glazed Salmon with couscous and broccoli. Salomon was tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. Broccoli was steamed, but needed a touch of salt. Couscous was mixed with tomatoes, red pepper and spinach. It was excellent! My son ordered the prime rib. He didn't love it but didn't hate it either. I tried a bite and it did need a little more seasoning for my taste. His Brussels sprouts were grilled and seasoned to perfection, a must try. My wife ordered the BBQ tri tip. Not many restaurants offer tri tip because it is difficult to do well, but BJs knocked this out of the park. Everyone at the table tried a bite and all love it. She did mention that the green beans needed the same seasoning as her garlic veggies and they would have been better. Our server was a little slow to refill drinks and check on us, that is our only real complaint. Other than that BJs would have received 5 stars. The other night I placed a pick up order. In the order I ordered the deep dish ziti as one of the entrees. It's usually pretty good. But this time it seems it was made in a puddle of grease. Caveat, I'm reviewing an Uber Eats order. Our experience was so good that I wanted to let you know. We ordered the Pasta Feast. I just looked at BJ's online ordering menu and this isn't listed but I would think they would offer it for takeout if you asked. For $45, we got a large deep dish pizza, a humongous order of spaghetti and meatballs, a large Caesar salad and garlic knots. I ordered a "build your own" pizza. Problem was, I couldn't actually "build my own". There was no option to add toppings so we ended up with a cheese pizza. In the end, it didn't matter, the pizza was very good. The spaghetti was actually a little light on pasta but so very full of large, delicious meatballs (a dozen!) that I don't mind cooking up a batch of pasta to go along with the leftovers. I chose the Caesar salad which, like everything else, was huge. It also came with a really large cup of dressing that I'll have for salads all week. Finally, 6 garlic knots rounded out the meal. The garlic knots were the only thing not served in jumbo portions. I wish they would have been - they were delicious. I ordered the family meal so my husband and I would have leftovers. Oh do we have leftovers. I'm going to freeze some of the meatballs for dinner another day. They said this would feed four, I'm betting 8 normal eaters could be fed from this. The pizookies are what I look forward to when eating at BJ's. While they are on the takeout menu, I couldn't imagine how the ice cream would get here and not be a puddle so I abstained. I'm going to test my "theory" that you can feed 8 from this meal - our family gets together every Wednesday for lunch. There are 8 of us...I'll let you know... read more
