Worst service in town. Hostess walked away as we entered. The server behind her ignored us. We waited a few minutes and then seated ourselves. After a few minutes the hostess came over and told us she was supposed to seat us. We told her she wasn't there. The food and drinks are amazing here but really, it's the service that keeps us coming back. Chill vibes and a good amount of TVs to watch the game. The waitresses are running around constantly and always checking in. Unfortunately, we have seen some parties not treat the ladies well at various times. Twin Peaks at Live Oak has a good menu with great drink prices, so we come here frequently. We typically, though, do not get the best service. Servers seem disinterested in serving us a lot of the time (like we are inconveniencing them) and are slow to come back. However, today was a COMPLETE 180* with our server Desiree! OVER an HOUR later still wasn't... staff ignored me and kept saying "five more mins"....eventually I asked for a manager and the manager was JUST AS RUDE! Eventually I got the right food, as well as a refund and an apology that did sound sincere.....but all the food was cold and soggy Like I said, I get it, shifts can get backed up..... but that's why I ordered ahead online! The last 2 times we have been here the service has been rough. The food is always good. Don't expect management to apologize for the wait if they don't put your order in. We ordered and waited roughly an hour and a half before they realized the order either wasn't put in or the computer failed. No apology, just some chips and queso to try to make it right. I ordered a take out salad with buffalo chicken tenders and I've ordered this before from other locations. When I got back to my location and opened the container, the salad came with the salad dressing already on it. It was saturated with ranch dressing. It was so much that the lettuce was starting to wilt. I felt this was odd as the menu clearly says the dressing will be on the side. I called the restaurant to let them know and they said all salads will come with the dressing already on it. Plus the young lady who I spoke to was a bit rude but I didn't take it further, I told them they really need to put that on the menu. Walked in and was greeted immediately. The restaurant seemed very clean, but there were a lot of gnats flying around. The service was really good. We had a waitress by the name of Mia wife, had a few drinks. My daughter had the the kids sliders, I had the pulled pork fries, and my wife had the pot roast. I was there on Wednesday September 28 with 3 other family members and had the best server ever, which turned the visit into one the best experience's I've ever enjoyed at any restaurant. Montse took time to help us first timers with the menu and made sure our overall experience was a good one. Beautiful person with a big and beautiful personality. Went to Twin Peaks and the hostess sat us. We looked through the menu and waited 20 minutes without anyone coming by. We waited a few more minutes and then proceeded to leave. Some people sitting by us asked if anyone had helped us because they hadn't been helped either. I told them no and then we told the hostess up front. She didn't seem too concerned. I hate to write this because we absolutely love twin peaks food but I will never go back as long as y'all have people who work there like the server we had. I think her name was Emily? Or Emma? Idk, something like that. Either way, I won't be back at this location. I'll make the drive to the one at North Star. This is the first time I've ever NOT left a tip‼ and I used to be a server and bartender so I always tip ABOVE what I should! Let's get started. We come in. The hostess was nice! She tells us to expect a 25-30 minute wait. No problem! We waited outside and just talked with our family. I check in to see how much longer as it said we had a 0 minute wait left when I clicked the link to check. Then she said it was going to be a little longer. I said ok. Then her and who I assume to be a manager found us a spot before I could even turn back around and go back outside. So I went to get the family to sit down and then we went and sat at a table that was open when we got there in the first place lol. And there's a lot more open seating as well. We brushed it off, whatever, maybe they didn't have enough servers and they were trying to not overload their staff, fair enough! Our server came over after we sat down. Got our drink order. And we placed our appetizer orders at that time. She seemed to be irritated already but that's fine, everyone has bad days. We brush it off, too. She comes back with the drinks, we order food for the kids, she leaves.....awhile goes by. We are looking around for her so we can order our food..she finally is near another table so we wave her down. She said let me close these people out so they can leave, I just don't want people sitting....which is exactly what we were doing but I digress. She comes back to take our order and I ask about the appetizers. She said the kitchen is backed up so it's taking a little longer. Ok, that's fine.....the appetizers finally come out and they're barely even lukewarm lol my toddler was about to eat a mozzarella bite immediately off the plate. So obviously the apps were just sitting there. Already done. Then eventually our kids food comes out. It's also not hot. Even the grilled cheese they had to "go find because the kitchen messed up" wasn't hot. The plate was hot. So maybe it was under a warmer for awhile. But my kid was able to eat the food immediately. So we are sitting there for a bit longer. And at this point the kids are ready to go and so are we. So I ask the manager to cancel our order. He was nice enough. He apologized, kitchen is backed up. Said he could check how much longer. I told him no we just wanted to cancel it all. Weirdly enough, our food just so happened to magically appear as soon as we did that. So we sent it back saying we just cancelled it. Mind you, the server had already been visibly irritated the whole time. We just assumed she's been having a hard shift and just didn't realize she had an attitude. We've all been there. We understood. But as soon as that happened and she closed our tabs, she increased the attitude. And then when we tried to give her our cards as she yet again kept passing our table, she grabbed my mother in laws card and receipt and snidely said "got it" so much that even I heard the eye roll. Ok. Now that's a problem. And to top it all off, she went back to where the host stand was to run the cards, whole time there was another server right there and they were definitely talking about us because the other server kept looking at us lol and then the manager was also talking to her too. So I went up and I said I'll take the cards because I'm not going to tolerate her being rude to my mother in law. She said I wasn't being rude, she just started yelling at me ma'am. Like I wasn't just there to witness it. Yes, my mother in law told you to lose the attitude, rightfully so since we had been dealing with it for awhile now. So I said no, I just saw the whole thing. And also, the kitchen excuses are really lame given the fact that everything came out lukewarm and cold. We would have dealt with everything else, we enjoy the food. but the service was horrendous. And it's not a kitchen issue if the kitchen is getting stuff out and it's just sitting there getting cold. read more

Not to mention they only put on Texas games and if ask to put on a non Texas game you get either a hard no from the rude management or told they can't change the channel because the Cowboys or the Texas are on. I've been there three times because Is a new location and wanted to give them a chance but so far it's been the same experience every time. Long waits, servers didn't pay attention and the atmosphere is not as exciting as other locations. On my last visit our server girl was talking to his boyfriend or friend all the time and it seemed they were arguing. I could tell she was very serious every time she asked us what we needed. This Place needs New Management for real. The Twin Peaks at 410 has way better service and atmosphere. I hope they improve this Location in the future. read more

My friend and I just stopped in to get a quick beer amd watch the first quarter of the MNF game. The staff is very nice and quick to seat us. My friend wanted a michalob ultra but they didn't habe it (because it's trash) so he settled for a light twin peaks draft. They brought him out a bud light three different. There was definitely some miscommunication between the staff and the bar. The place itself was very clean and great. I would give this place another try for sure, it's less than a month old. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this place was not even busy and the service was terrible. Got seated and we ordered but food took forever except the appetizer. Our waitress never acknowledged us and we had to ask for refills and where our food was. Only paid attention to when we were getting ready to pay. We usually tip really well never less than 20% but today it was way less than that. I don't believe in leaving no tip but I was really tempted today. Ana greeted us quickly and seated us even quicker. she took our order and was very friendly. she was extra caution when serving our 4 year old son his food. made sure to let him know it was hot.
