We ordered a few rounds of drinks and sampler plate to snack on. Our server Frankie was amazing, she was very attentive to our needs and made sure all our order's were handled quickly on a completely packed afternoon, fun courteous but not in an intrusive manner, never interrupted during conversation. Despite it being happy hour, there isn't really an indication or promotion of it on the menu. I just know that my beer, their Dirty Blonde was $2 off. First impressions was that the ambiance was on theme, chairs were comfy, and the server uniforms gave Hooters-esque vibes. When checking out this place on Yelp, someone mentioned that their food was merely okay. But I wanted to check it out for myself because of their drink selection and their billionaire bacon burger. While my drink was good (served with an orange slice), the burger was meh. If it were not for the bacon, the burger would've been bland. The fries were great though, nicely seasoned. I came here last year for the first time ever to celebrate with friends. Very spacious and we were seated immediately. Waitress assigned to our table sucked attitude-wise and was gone most of the time. We got some opportunities to order from her at least. "Twin Peaks" is a chain of sports bars. Sadly we do not have any in Portland, OR.....if there was we would go all the time. We have only been to this outlet in Phoenix. We have been 3 times when visiting Phoenix and have loved it there. As a sports bar they have lots of TVs so it is easy to get a table with a view. The food is really, really good....especially their burgers! Of course the main reason people go there is the waitresses and their outfits....much better than Hooters! All the waitresses we have had were extremely friendly and attentive plus great to look at. She introduced us to nova who was taking over for her and she was horrible. BEST WINGS IN PHOENIX! Hands down!! I had their bone in breaded dry rub spicy Cajun with a side of fries & it was AMAZING! Definitely the best one I've ever had in Phoenix. My husband got 12 traditional wings I think. He liked it. Great employees & very attentive waitress. I think my waitress was Jayda if I remember. She was so attentive & always checked on us. Even gave us a sample for 2 of their spiciest sauces. The sauces weren't that spicy but it was sooo good! The waitress go above and beyond. Love their outfits as well. Drinks were amazing as well. Hot wings were decent although a little undercooked, and the grilled were gross (it was all honey and leaked off like grease to the bottom of the plate). We closed out because the current server was leaving (good service), but we stayed to finish the game for about another hour. They did change the channel on the correct tv to the game we requested. What an unfortunate experience for a pretty regular customer. Two weeks ago, I went to the Twin Peaks in Boise and it was spectacular; the wings were fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. The service and ambiance also was fanstastic. Fast forward to yesterday...in Phoenix at the Camelback location. What a horrible experience (food-wise). I started with a house salad; the lettuces were old, discolored and wilted. It was served warm! Moving on to the wings, I always order them "double naked"; that is, not breaded and with the buffalo sauce on the side. While they were served hot, they were way overcooked. Also, by all appearances, they were not fresh at all. I suspect they were either previously frozen or simply old or a bad batch. Every single one of the six I could muster was tough. A few I wouldn't touch because they were actually maroon in color. Just gross. My server was very, very attentive, nice and pleasant as the ladies always are. She was apologetic, but made no effort to contact the manager or kitchen staff (I thought she would after I lodged my complaint, to which she agreed the wings "didn't look right"). Oh well...chalk it up to a bad day, but I'll likely not return to that location. Next time I'm in Boise or Vegas...I'll be back. read more

I ordered off of Grubhub last night around 7-7:30. I ordered the chicken fried steak w/ garlic mashed red potatoes, & asparagus. I also ordered a $6.99 adult Mac & cheese & 2 $.79 sides of white jalapeño gravy. The CFS was a pre packaged & frozen before it was cooked, beef patty. It was charred outside & grey inside. It was barely seasoned & hard to eat. The breading fell off which means they don't know the proper breading procedure, that's actually the name of it, not something I made up. It's easily accessible on the interne, cookshave been taught this by their family even. A truck stop diner makes a better one b/c everything was old. The breading had no flavor & the gravy had to have been 4-5 days old. It had been reduced so much there was zero moisture a very strange texture for gravy. A grey/ beige colored gravy w/ a very thick film over the top. The flavor perplexed me the most b/c I'm trying to figure out how it happened & what could make that flavor profile. It tasted like a tire fire. Hot melted rubber. Spatulas don't leave that kind of flavor unless it was a very big fire. Plastic hose? Why would that be near food? So the gravy was essentially melted tire flavored boba. Ruined my palate. i feel like I should've known when they charged $42 for a 14oz New York that was choice. Now, bbq was created in this country b/c white slave owners kept the best cuts for themselves & gave the slaves the ribs, feet, head & offal meat, (intestines, gizzards, heart, internal organs.) They found ways to cook these pieces of meat that created a new cuisine & made those cuts more desireable to the masses. That's why the ham hock flavored collard greens, another undesirable vegetable their captors didn't want. Is say all that to say, if you dont understand the basics of bbq you ain't cookin bbq. I know the managers/ Owners/ staff at Twin Peaks don't want this. The food I ate tonight. There's the internet & if you really want to brighten someone's day, call your grandma & ask her for recipes. Some of them were cooking before everything became so processed. Cutting corners gets you a molten tire flavored boba gravy. Cooking is close to my heart & I believe if you don't say something, it'll never improve. So that's my experience, I hope you make the criticism constructive. read more

Looking for a place to have a late dinner on a Sunday night? Well that is how I found this place. We had the new Korean volcano wings and let me tell you if you like habanero, well this is one set of wings for you. They were super spicy yet very flavorful and their wings are smoked on a smoker so it was like different layers of flavorful. I also had there sweet BBQ Burger and it was very tasty and my husband hair the billionaire Burger. The burgers come with fries. I was left wanting they're bacon, apparently they are known for their bacon and since it was a football Sunday they happened to run out of their famous bacon by the time I ordered food which was 11 pm, so I got regular bacon on my burger. Service was great especially since it was late Sunday night pretty empty. Megan was our server and she is very knowledgeable and very kind. Definitely will be coming back again.
