This hip truck was at our work today and course I'm not going to pass up TACOS!! I ordered the…read morecombo 2 steak tacos+elote 10oz+ drink + a bonus slice of cake= Full Happy TumTum all for $10. The tacos are bigger and fuller than the street tacos. They sit in 2 corn tortillas w/cabbage, cilantro and onion and an optional lime/red or green salsa. Very satisfying!! My favorite salsa was the green, which had a punch of spice to it.. just the way I like it! I would recommend this funky-hip food truck to anyone who loves tacos!! The staff was very friendly and were fairly quick! AND if you check in you get a $1 off with a $10 purchase!

Must admit I was kinda reluctant being that I'm really not a food truck kinda diva. The prices were very reasonable, nothing over $10. Menu items ranged from breakfast tacos, grilled cheese, pattie melts, quesadillas, nachos and you can honor TCU by them making your shell purple. So with that said and being a big Frog fan I settled for "Frogilious Tacos" (Thats my coined name for them...) and lawd of goodness were they crispy and tasty! Gotta give them another try and hopefully it will top the service and food from this first visit. Y'all foodie truck lovers go eat your heart out and make it funky...:-} NOTE: Feel free to ask for my personal mention, "Frogilious Tacos"... (Lol)

I work at a hospital in Fort Wort and this food truck comes every week for the night shift. I've…read morebeen here almost 3 years and have never tried it after hearing they're not that good. For the first time last week I had someone tell me they ARE...she got the shrimp tacos. So tonight after not bringing my lunch I gave them a shot. I got a steak burrito and a churro, which came out to a little over $13, plus tip. The young man tried to suggest they were $10 for 3 churros. I told him I only wanted one. As I was paying I asked him 3 times what came in the burrito. He never answered, but there was music inside so I just brushed it off and waited for my food since he probably didn't hear me and I was buying regardless. First thought when I got back to my desk: the burrito was surprisingly big. Cool. It's literally the size of the inside of my forearm. Second thought when I bit into it: wow, this reminds me of a burrito from this place I used to go as a kid in California. Why does everyone say this place is bad? Flavor is definitely there. Third....fourth, fifth, and every thought after: why is this meat so chewy???? It's like you're getting gristle and fat in every bite. I opened the burrito and it was majority meat which would normally be a plus, but it was so chewy I threw the whole thing away after 5 bites. The churro had some raspberry(?) drizzle on it. It was hot but I guess I thought I was getting a traditional churro so was disappointed there. They also came out of a freezer. Don't know what I was expecting there, but just fyi. All in all, I wouldn't go back here. If I was desperately hungry I MIGHT try a shrimp taco...maybe that's where it's at. But I love me some carne asada and their choice of meat here is very poor.

It hurts me to write this review because I've been rocking with Gabe's for a long time. I've…read morerecommended it to plenty of people, and several of them ended up loving it just as much as I did. I usually order through Uber Eats because it's a pretty good distance from me, but over the last six months to a year, something has drastically changed. The quality of the chicken is completely off. The fries aren't the same either. The ranch is still on point, so I'll give them that. Last night I ordered a six piece, and I could barely chew the chicken. It wasn't tender or juicy. It was tough, rubbery, and felt like I was chewing something I couldn't even break down. Some of the skin had a weird slippery, almost plastic-like texture that I couldn't bite through. It honestly didn't taste like real chicken, and it definitely didn't taste like the chicken I used to get from Gabe's. To make matters worse, I ordered a Coke that arrived warm. Not cool, not room temperature, but warm enough that it clearly hadn't been refrigerated. Food is too expensive these days to be playing with people's meals. I don't know if they changed chicken vendors, changed suppliers, or changed the way they prepare it, but something is different, and not in a good way. I'm genuinely disappointed because this used to be one of my favorite spots.

Wings were amazing - I recommend getting them extra wet. This is the best chicken I have ever had…read more The price may seem daunting at first, but they are worth every single penny. Their wings are double the size of most chicken places with way more meat. The address might take you a different route, but they will be between ballroom & the grocery store.
