    Art the Pitmaster

The brisket was moist fell apart and was awesome! It certainly didn't need no sauce. From the choice of food the brisket was the best thing that I've tasted here. Art the pitmaster gave me the rice bowl, which was very good. Next time I come here. I'm gonna try one of their beef ribs. This place is a little different than other barbecue joints, it seems to be a little upscale. But I would come here again. Make your way over here, east of downtown Fort Worth and get their brisket try.

The restaurant still in Soft Opening mode. Well organized and very tasty good. The hours are limited and we dined here on Sunday lunch. My sponsor had the Pulled Pork sandwich and I ordered the Outlaw Brisket Fries. Go through the line and all the wonderful topping and mixes you want. The meals turned out as delicious as the creative combination you can imagine. The staff was exceptional and worked hard to make experience a delight. We have found a go to place for fun and food.

First time eating here, and had a great experience. The staff is very helpful. We didn't know what to order and they explained the menu and gave us recommendations. We tried the rice brisket bowl and the brisket fries. The food was delicious and the portions are very generous. The sides are a bonus.

There are plenty of interesting options, making it easy for everyone in the group to find something appealing. We started with the Giant Pretzel and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and both were excellent. The pretzel was warm and flavorful, while the Brussels sprouts were crispy and well-seasoned. These appetizers ended up being some of the highlights of the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the pork ribs. The portion size was just right, leaving me satisfied without feeling overly full. The ribs were enjoyable, but they didn't quite measure up to what you'd find at a dedicated Texas barbecue joint. They were good, just not particularly memorable for a region known for exceptional barbecue. One of the restaurant's biggest strengths is its location. Situated right along the river and close to other shops and attractions, it's a great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The outdoor setting and overall vibe create a fun, lively experience that encourages you to linger a little longer. Overall, The Woodshed Smokehouse is a fun destination with a fantastic location and a unique menu. While the food was solid, the restaurant's atmosphere and setting are what truly stand out. It's worth a visit if you're looking for a casual meal and an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon.

We got the Hells Half Acre at around $100 and it could easily feed 6 people. So much food and extremely delicious. There were 3 of us and we barely made a dent. Meats: they were out of the ribs and sausage :( but they substitute with anything but their brisket. We got a double order of their pulled pork and turkey. The meats alone were worth the trip. Sides: we got the Borracho beans and the cream corn. My daughter is a huge fan of their corn so we got 2 of them since the Hells Half Acre comes with 3 sides (and they are huge) Convenience: no 2 hours to wait in line before they open, just show up and order. Usually places like this are a step below but the taste was on point! Sauce: food doesn't need it but boy does that sauce hit. Cons: didn't come with bread and the counter service looked less than thrilled to take orders. Ranking: tied with Hutchins. For context I've been to Franklins, Goldees, LeRoy and Lewis, La Barbeque, Cattleack, Hard 8, Terrys, Pecan Lodge and others in Texas and from an overall experience they don't come close to Panther City. When you don't have to wait in line and the meat is just as good and the sides are better- no brainer!

That would certainly recommend the meat board to anyone looking for a quality Burger and some very high quality meat sold at the counter.

The barbecue is different than I'm used to and although good flavor it was surface level flavor, once you got inside the meat it didn't really taste it.. especially for the price your paying.. $36+p/lb The Mac was mid at best.. truly would've preferred Kraft, this is straight from a bag and heated.. the potato salad was good I would give them that. They also have sliced white bread available at the counter also free of charge, along with baked beans and vinegar based bbq sauce..
