Located in a small shopping center so parking is easy easy. Small establishment not really a sit down type but, more a take out. We ordered the following: Pizza bomb twist - a single serving that comes with a serving of marinara sauce. Delish! Bacon ranch loaded bites - OMG , a must order! AMAZING! Gourmet sinful cinnamon bites - Delish OG dessert pretzel bites. Each bite loaded with cinnamon and sugar. A must to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings!

What's KNOT to love about fresh pretzels? Honestly this location is all you KNEAD for a perfect snack. They have salty, savory, and sweet. From traditional pretzels and dips to loaded Blitz to slushy drink and soft served ice cream. Freshly made in house our order was delicious! We tried the loaded Blitz in Bancon Ranch and Baja Elote. Both were so tasty and filing and definitely shareable portions. (For the Baja Elote I suggest light on the smoked chili dust because it's not spicy but overpowering in flavor) We also order the Chimney Cakes in cookies and creams and rainbow crunch and we all were in love at first bite. The chimney cakes had a crunch yet soft shell with a nice sugar coating and it was our favorite part and what's not to love about soft served ice cream? We then washed everything down with a root beer float and Orange creamsicle float. The slushy was very refreshing and kids were happy. Overall service was quick, the store was very clean, staff was friendly and everything we ordered was great! We'll be coming back for sure!

Everyone knows the pretzels are great but we ordered one thing of pretzels, one small pizza sauce, and one float and it was 18$ to me it was extremely overpriced and the float was not good at all. But I do love the pretzels so that's all I'd go back for. Sauce wasn't even worth it either

I thoroughly enjoyed this place! I went shortly after the soft opening so it was pretty busy but the workers were very nice and had great customer service. The food came out as fast as it could given the surplus of orders that were being put in at the time. Even tried the strawberry slushie while waiting & it was pretty yum (a little tart so be mindful of that). Flavors we're on point, packaging was great, & menu options were vast! I would totally visit again :)

Impromptu stop while looking for the nail shop. Who doesn't love a good pretzel?! I let my son pick and he went with the sinful cinnamon bits (so simple although I'm not complaining) and I got a peach machta something. The drink was really good. I love anything matcha so I might be slightly biased. The pretzels were old and obviously had been sitting for who knows how long. If they were fresh, I might've given them 5 stars but they weren't. I should know better by now and ask for everything fresh so it's piping hot. I mean it's an amplified wetzel pretzel with ice cream and more sweet options to pick from. I payed $17.00 for the bitz, dipping sauce, and the drink. Slightly pricey in my opinion but everything's pricey. Was enough for me to say I'll be back...probably not. But that doesn't mean others shouldn't go check it out.

Stopped in after shopping in the plaza. I'm visiting from WA state and saw Wetzel and wanted a quick snack before I headed back to my hotel. The shop was bright and clean. Service could use some improvement. I walked in 3 workers behind the counter and not one of them greeted me. So I finally ordered something and the young lady at the register still didn't really greet me. Neither did the other 2 workers. She asked for my name after placing the order, yet didn't call my name when she was bagging up my pretzel bites. She also bagged it up with grease dripping all over the bag... handed it to me when I walked up to the counter and still didn't really say anything. If you don't want to greet or acknowledge tour customers, maybe find a job outside of customer service. So miserable and unprofessional. The pretzel bites were good though, but I wouldn't return even if I lived here. Customer service is important to me I won't return to any establishment with horrible customer service.

Man do I love pretzels. Salted pretzels, pretzels with spicy cheese, pretzel bites....but today was a first for the choices Twisted By Wetzel's had today. This was our first visit as this location just opened recently. First impression was it was bright, clean and very, very busy. The line was nearly out the door when we arrived. School had just gotten out and you could definitely tell. Service was super fast which was great and they told us someone would call our name when our order was ready. I had looked online ahead of time to see what I'd possibly like, but if you walk in there are menus on the counter to look over that explain topping etc. the one on the wall just has the name not what it stuff comes with it. They offer your regular wetzel pretzels you're used to, but also pizza ones, hot dogs, icecream ones and even a s'mores loaded bites which is what we tried. It was pretzel bites with chocolate chips and drizzle, graham cracker crumble, and you guessed it marshmallows. We also ordered regular pretzel bites with their queso cheese. There are quite a few tables inside to enjoy your treats or take them to go. We opted to sit and eat, but the place fills up quick so be prepared you might have to wait for a seat or take it t go. All in all everything was pretty good. The queso was spicy and pretzels warm and soft. They were really working fast to keep up with demand. There were a lot of employees. The downside to me as it seems to be with a lot of the other reviews I read is that it is pretty expensive. For those two items I paid around $20 and got guessed it they ask for a tip at the keosk. So if any of that bothers you this place might not be for you.

Saturday afternoon not too many people, order 2 different hot dogs, pizza bomb twist, strawberry coco dream & lemonade. Was told upon ordering hot dogs would take few extra minutes, we asked if we could have everything together even if we had to wait extra because of hot dogs. Few minutes later we were called for 2 drinks & pizza bomb. We excepted the drinks & explained we asked for food all together, person at counter took pizza bomb back & set it aside on counter (not back where it would stay warm) we went back to counter & asked for pizza bomb since it was going to sit on counter & get cold. Few minutes later we we called for hot dogs. None of the three pretzel items (2 hot dogs & pizza bomb) were buttery or salty like pretzels are supposed to be. Pizza bomb was very bland, and the "marinara" that we were received with it was just tomato paste. Both hotdogs were not flavorful at all. Clearly, the service wasn't great because they didn't listen to anything we said . Both drinks were good.

Both pizzas were interesting. The Lichfield Park pizza has pesto sauce and corn on it, as well as cheese, so you might get a slice of that after your "guests" scarf their first helping. You better grab a slice of the Brooklyn pizza right away, though, because it's a traditional-looking pizza with pepperoni and sausage. You won't get a second shot at a slice. You'll get to finish the rest of the "adult" strawberry & bacon salad, though, with spinach instead of lettuce, walnuts, strawberries, and bacon bits. It doesn't come with ranch or even ranch-colored dressing, so they might not risk trying a pinkish salad dressing as a dip for their pizza crust. It's a very good salad and helped my vacation digestion, since I'm not used to the 110° August heat. Papa Paul's Pizza is less than a mile away from my room at the Wigwam. Going there would even be walkable in the summer heat if the fences around the Wigwam had pedestrian gates. As it is, both driveway gates on that corner of the Wigwam are slotted through the perimeter fence far from the place where Papa Pauls and the resort are just across the street from each other. I'm too delicate for a 0.9-mile walk in that much sun. I enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar to rehydrate, though, while I waited for the pizzas to come out of the oven.

Sauce was clearly made in house, but the pasta itself was generic and did not taste like it was homemade. Good amount of protein though. We also ordered the mango and classic cannolis, and these stole the show. Flaky to perfection! If we come back, we might try the pizzas to see how it compares to the pasta.

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.
