Newly opened Weinerschnitzel near my house. Decided to get an early lunch from there today. I went with a coupon they had on their website which was 2 chili cheese dogs and a chili cheese fries for $6.00. Hell of a deal! Food was good, especially for $6.00. Crispy fries and melty cheese paired with some of their chili was tasty. The dog was on a nice soft bun. Good enough. Service from the drive thru lady was incredible. Great stop at the new Wienerschnitzel off Greenway and Cotton lane in Surprise.. We arrived a bit after 2pm to a packed place and line. The drive thru also full of cars. That's a good sign. Service was quick and friendly. The store itself was clean and easy to get about. We enjoyed the Chicago dogs and chili dogs. Fries could've been cooked a tad longer, but were still good. A few employees even came to check on us throughout our meal. Good addition to the parking lot. After grocery shopping a quick bite through the drive thru will do the trick. Don't go through the drive thru. As Joe Penske said. You always get screwed in the drive thru. We ordered two chili dogs and chili hamburger. My hand burger literally had one tablespoon of chili. The chili dogs maybe 3. We had gone before and no problem. When discussing with management about being charged 5 times for the same thing and given the wrong receipt he never even wanted to discuss the chili. It would have been nice if he had given us a percentage off next time we came in. Soooo too many other places to go. Really like it when it's right but if we have to check it every time we go there I think we will pass. We may give it one more chance but going to be a while. read more
