A go to spot! Not only are these pastries delicious, but a great spot to drop by on your walk since it's dog friendly (it's in the lobby of an apartment building). The Rosemary ham + cheese croissant is a regular for me! Because there's only 1-2 people on staff it can take a second if there's a long line, but typically in and out in 10 minutes.

Pastries here are excellent. We loved the banana bread danish and maple brioche donut we chose yesterday. I've tried a few other seasonal brioche donuts and they're always fantastic. Dough is fresh and fluffy, flavors are perfectly balanced, and fillings always complement the donut perfectly. The seasonal lattes (salted maple and pumpkin spice) were both delicious too. And a nice spot to hang out for the morning!

Went with a lot of expectations to twisted croissant. Unfortunately turned down when we were told they are out of cruffins which we wanted to try. So tried cherry filled croissant. Although it looked fantastic, somehow didn't like the texture of the croissant. It's hard on the outside which is different from what we are generally used to. Didn't felt the cherry and chocolate complemented each other. Overall disappointed. Store was empty when we went in. It was quiet. Parking is a nightmare. Staff who was working is good. Ambiance is very clean and modern. I love the fact that they are part of inKind which is helpful.

The cruffin was new and messy! It was so good. A little steep for the price of $8.50. But I know it must be difficult to make and you don't stumble on these often. The service was so sweet and helpful. There was not much of a selection. I definitely want to try their other location. Street parking. Inside same building as the apartments.

This was the 2nd location we had the opportunity of going to, and we have been so impressed. The flavor combinations are very different, but extremely delicious. It shows in the quality of the pastry how much attention goes into the dough. We drive from Olympia WA for special occasions and will 100% continue to do so

This is my first visit to this location of theirs. It's pretty spacious as it shares a lobby with an apartment complex in Northrup area. There's also places for you to study and just lounge around. We decided to try the passion, mango, and guava cream puff. The base exterior had a nice hard texture to it and the inside was full of flavors. The top part had a nice light taste to it. The combination went very well together.

The famous patisserie now has a spot in the Northwest! Part of an apartment complex/working space, Twisted recently opened a location in the Northrup area. Cute coffee corner serving their delicious creations as well as a full coffee menu. The inside is modern and relaxing with plenty of seatings. We got the Cortado, Dirty Chai, Mushroom Quiche, and Passionfruit Choux Cream for breakfast and they're all lovely. You already know their baked goods are amazing but they also make great caffeinated drinks. The staff was some of the friendliest I've encountered. Please come give them some love!

Nice variety they gave for free as they were closing so better to take it all before they throw it away!

I absolutely love the croissants here and they're very delicious and they have the right amount of crunch for each bite. You take with the buttery soft texture inside. Great service and very friendly. Nice neighborhood surrounding the area so it's a good place to chill and grab a coffee and whatnot have a croissant or some kind of sweet treat from this place. Fact, well, if it is a secret, most places throw away their food after they close because it's no good the next day to resell but a lot of places if you walk in at the right time will give you a box of free food when they're closing. A good example of a few famous pizza places that are local area and some bakeries such as this one.

Small little coffee shop in the lobby of the building. Shut up about 8 o'clock and there was nobody there. Ordered a chocolate croissant and a latte. Like chocolate croissant with crunchy, flaky, buttery, soft in the middle with a high-quality chocolate.. the swirl of the chocolate infused outer layer of croissant just made this thing look divine. Barista was nice and was very quick with the coffee.

as always, the croissant is one of the best

different location for twisted croissant! croissant warmed up 5/5. love having access to this spot because it's a bit more convenient. walkable for a lot of apartments being built! service is always great, it seems like a satellite location so there's only 1-2 people attending to the customers. i would expect a calmer coffee shop rather than a bustling one. a great place to have a morning catch up for an hour or so, in my opinion. it is in the lobby of an apartment.

Walking in less than an hour before closing, we were surprised to see most of the items still in stock! We ended up picking four things to try: Vanilla Bean Kouign Amann ($7) - This pasty has a sweet yet salty exterior that's complementary in flavor rather than clashing. It's accentuated with a crunchy glazed and caramelized sugar layer that's on the sweeter side. The interior is interesting. There's a cavernous gap right in the center that's filled with a sickly sweet melted sugar syrup. It's unpleasantly sweet and very cloying. The puffed and filled area is large enough that it compresses the other layers so the kouign amann is dense. I've never had a kouign amann quite this sweet before. (3/5) Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Thyme ($5.50) - This cake is so moist and rich, thick and dense, fatty and rich, that it feels like I"m eating a slab of butter. I'm sure it has just as many calories too! It's quite sweet, although not nearly to the level of the kouign amann. Overall, it's just a really rich and decadent cake. (4/5) Blueberry + Vanilla Cream Brioche Donut w/ Earl Grey ($6) - The top of the pastry is dressed with a cream that has an unmistakably strong bergomot earl grey taste. I wish there was way more cream - there's essentially only a dab on top! The rest of the donut is filled with a custardy light blueberry and vanilla jam. It's not too sweet and has an excellent high quality blueberry fragrance, creating an exceptionally strong blueberry taste. The jam is not too thick and is somewhat syrupy from sugar. The donut itself is really soft and extremely airy. It's the fluffiest donut I've eaten in a long time. (5/5) Raspberry Rose Cruffin ($8.50) - This pastry has some fun dehydrated raspberries sprinkled right on top of a light and fluffy cream that's not too sweet. The cruffin base is buttery in taste and great lamination even when filled with the custard and rose/raspberry cream. This is a heavy cruffin that's very filling. (5/5) Twisted Croissant certainly does some some really delectable treats. It's one of my favorite bakeries in Portland!

Crispy, airy, buttery and oh, so delicate, my raspberry cruffin was the dessert dreams are made of! If you've never had a cruffin... what are you waiting for?! It's croissant dough baked into a muffin shape. And the particular version I ordered today was filled with sweet and creamy vanilla custard and raspberry jelly. My mouth is watering describing this now, a true sign I'll be returning to experience this delicacy time and time again. There are three locations of Twisted Croissant in Portland, and this is the only one I've visited. The interior has a classic Parisian bakery vibe, clad in white subway tile from floor to ceiling. The bakery case in front of the store is beautifully stocked with fresh pastries, perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea. However, be advised, there are only two tables in the back of their public space, so it's not particularly inviting space to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Given the location, I assume there is outdoor seating in the summer months, but don't quote me on that. Regardless, run here if you haven't been. These baked goods are worth the visit!

They have a great selection of pastries. The croissants are so amazing. You can tell it's a good croissant from all the fluffy layers. It's got a good egg wash on top which makes it crispy on top and soft and buttery on the inside. I also had to get the tiramisu latte. It was made to perfection. I like my coffee sweet so this was right up my ally. I also got a cookie and brownie. When you heat up the cookie and brownie a bit, it's a little taste of heaven!
