Stopped in shortly after they opened, hoping for a quick bite -- and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the fish and chips, and it was fantastic. The fish was perfectly fried with a light, crispy batter that didn't feel heavy or greasy -- exactly how it should be. I swapped the regular fries for sweet potato fries, and they were a great call -- nicely crisped, with just the right touch of sweetness. Service was quick and friendly, and being one of the first in the door, everything came out super fresh. Definitely a solid spot if you're looking for a satisfying meal that doesn't leave you feeling weighed down.

Penne Pasta w prawns Bottom yum and hot.

We splurged on the lobster entrée ($59) with baked potato and a side salad with lots of blue cheese. Very very good. The butter even came with a candle underneath, keeping it hot. Biggest portion Lobster I ever have been served My wife had the prawns and Penne Pasta ($25).Very Good This was a January sunny weekend with great Seaside, Oregon weather which is rare and the city was full, but we got right in at this restaurant.

We went here for lunch. The service was amazing. Server - top notch. Food - very fresh and delicious. We ordered oyster shooters - perfect combination of horseradish on top, yum. Calamari and artichoke - fresh and delicate. Main dish - halibut - not overcooked, well balanced spices and soft. Very happy with our choice.

Filet mignon, asparagus and holy big stuff the scallop potatoes are amazingly good.

The food was perfect. We both had a filet mignon medium rare and that's what we got service was impeccable. Adam was very helpful engaging and fun ambience quiet simple comfortable also the bloody Mary's were 11 out of 10.

Seafood linguine. Never did reach the noodles because there was soooooo much seafood on it. DELICIOUS!!

OMG!!! The food was delicious and you better come HUNGRY! Portions are beyond and if you leave hungry it's your own fault. Wonderful staff and very friendly, warm atmosphere.

Pan Seared Scallops with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. Loved the tiny pickled peppers.

My sister and I are in Seaside for the week and had dinner here last night, everything was so good! I'm surprised with the lack of overall stars. It was warm and clean inside. The waiter, DQ, was attentive, friendly, and answered all of questions. The other waiter and waitress that we interacted with were also super friendly. I ordered the Brussels Sprouts and Pan Seared Scallops....oh boy, was I in heaven! The best I've ever had anywhere so far. I also got their Honey Orange Lager My sister ordered their Seafood Fettuccine, she loved it too and so did I with the bite she allowed me to try, it was that good! I'll definitely be back, if not during this trip, soon as I live in Portland, it's not that far. Thanks for the great service, experience, and food!

We got in on a Friday just before the rush. I ordered steamed clams and a baked potato, my friend ordered the prime rd sandwich and they offered a baked potato instead of fries. Fast service, the food arrived very quickly. Food quality was high. We had a great dinner.

Had dinner here in December '23. Quiet due to being off season. Ribeye was good, and the cheesecake was delicious. Happy server and a really energetic helper were fun. Tables and chairs are worn out. Loud karaoke from the bar crossing over with the easy listening station piped into the restaurant was annoying.

I was visiting Seaside, Oregon to attend a convention and had earmarked a large sum of money to purchase some equipment featured at the convention. However, I decided that now wasn't the time for me to buy that equipment. While exploring the convention area of town, I decided I wanted to enjoy a nice steak. When I checked Yelp! I found The Twisted Fish and after reading some reviews I decided that was were I would go. Since I decided against buying the equipment from the convention, I had some money I could spend on a nice meal. I sat in the bar area because I was dining solo and didn't want I feel more comfortable sitting at a countertop when I'm not with anyone else. Also, when I'm alone I tend to study my surroundings more. I find there is usually more to look at when I'm sitting at a bar. The Twisted Fish was no different. The entire back wall was lined with TVs, but only a few were on. Probably because I was one of three customers enjoying the bar. I'm sure when it's busier more of the TVs are used. Also available for entertainment was a wall mounted internet jukebox, video lottery machines, pool tables, and a large sitting area. After looking over the menu an agonizing over three choices, I decided I would order the Fillet Mignon. It has been over a decade since my last fillet mignon and I had to try the one from Twisted Fish. I was very pleased with my decision because the steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked so that the steak was pleasant to eat. So tender and juicy that before I knew it I had eaten the whole fillet. My meal was so filling that I had to reluctantly refuse dessert. I will be sure to visit The Twisted Fish next time I'm in town!

On 3/29 a Saturday evening for our 28th anniversary we went to Twisted Fish for steak & lobster dinner. I must say it was fabulous! Large lobster cooked perfectly and the steak and loaded baked potatoes were great! Our waitress was amazing as well...great cocktails. We got there around 6 and got the last boothWe'll be back! Thanks for a great anniversary dinner! Debbie & Ron Nelson

Sirloin steak, with baked potato and asparagus
    Javier S.

Great place for a steak! The sirloin was cooked perfectly for me (medium).it was juicy and full of flavor. It came with a baked potatoe that was nicely salted on the outside and fluffy on the inside, as well as asparagus topped with sautéed spaghetti squash (Yum!)! Our server was fast and attentive; great job! I would have given 5-stars, but there was karaoke going on and it was pretty aweful (so 1-less star for that); it really ruined the ambience.

Turns out they keep it raised until about 4 o'clock while they brew beer behind the theater, then the screen comes down later for basketball, games, and movies. Honestly, that just made me appreciate the place even more. I walk all over Seaside trying different spots, little hidden places, tourist places, all of it, and somehow this still ends up being my favorite lunch spot in town. The food never disappoints. Ever. The prices are shockingly good for what you get, and they somehow manage to get food out fast without sacrificing quality. What I love most is the space. Even when town is packed, you are not jammed in elbow to elbow with people. Families, kids, locals, everybody just looks comfortable there. Big open historic theater, great food, quick service, sports on the screen later in the day, and good atmosphere without the chaos. Screen up or screen down, this place is one of my favorites. Thanks guys for always being awesome.

The establishment is known for significantly over-pouring alcoholic beverages. While some patrons may view this as a positive, excessive alcohol service is irresponsible and raises legitimate concerns about compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Even more concerning is the apparent willingness to serve individuals who are visibly intoxicated and then allow them to leave and operate motor vehicles. This presents a serious and potentially dangerous risk to the public. The overall condition of the establishment is dirty, poorly maintained, and unacceptable. More importantly, the apparent lack of responsible alcohol service raises concerns that should not be dismissed. It is extremely troubling that these issues appear to persist without meaningful intervention. I strongly believe the appropriate city authorities and law enforcement agencies should investigate this establishment and determine whether it is operating in compliance with all applicable health, safety, liquor, and public-safety regulations. The situation warrants serious attention before someone is seriously injured or killed.
