Ordered via Door Dash. Excellent prime rib dinner with baked potato and side salad. Given a lot of horseradish. The chocolate cream pie for dessert was sublime. Riley's is a hidden gem in Seaside that provides a great selection of American styled foods. They also offer a limited selection of Asian dishes. They are exceptional at traditional breakfast and dinners. They have a great prime rib special on Fridays. They also have a hidden bar in the back that features poker machines. The food is delivered fast and hot with friendly servers. They have a large seating area and can accommodate larger parties. I have seen Door Dash there several times if you use that service. This is a well know place to the locals, but tourists are very welcomed. read more

I think I came here many years ago for a breakfast of Razor clams & eggs, which I've always remembered was so good! Prime rib on Fri/Sat nites seems to be the thing with alot of restaurants on the coast. I arrived about 45 minutes before closing and was surprised they weren't busy. I ordered the Prime rib special with soup & baked potato. The Chicken noodle soup was one of the best I've ever had! Chocked full of chicken, egg noodles & diced carrots in a savory broth. Usually, I have to add salt & pepper to my soup, but not this time. That soup is what you want curled up at home under a cozy blanket. This is not fine dining, so the Prime rib is portioned ahead of time and then reheated to order. When it arrived I thought it was over cooked because it was brown all over. However, when I cut into it, it was perfectly medium rare, tender, and very flavorful! Served with horseradish cream and au jus. You can get straight horseradish too. My baked potato was cooked thoroughly being creamy dreamy goodness stuffed with butter & sour cream. I did add s&p - LOL. And was so happy it came with these delicious green beans with bacon. They were perfectly cooked & seasoned (no s&p needed). Cooked from fresh or frozen, definitely not canned. Too full for dessert, so took a piece of Chocolate cream pie, which was also very good. Good chocolate flavor & not too sweet. My waitress Sarah was awesome and frequently checked to see if I needed anything. This divey gem is worth the stop! read more

Nice quiet restaurant in the heart of Seaside, OR. Our server was friendly but screwed up our order. My mother -in-law ordered a Turkey sandwich and ended up with a roast beef sandwich and my wife ordered a Fish & Chips basket and wound up with a grilled Halibut steak. My Deluxe Hamburger was the only thing that didn't get messed up. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. If you want to go somewhere with a diner feel to it, this might be the place, otherwise I would maybe look elsewhere. read more

Our family came here because everywhere else in the downtown (walking distance from hotels) was packed...even on a week day. We were seated right away and the service is super quick. My kids got the chocolate chip pancakes, my husband got the frech toast with eggs and a side of hashbrowns. I ordered the mini Denver omlette, which came with toast and hashbrowns. The food was good. It tasted like any other breakfast restaurant. Not too fancy, and has a standard breakfast joint menu. I enjoyed my meal a lot, and my family enjoyed theirs. Had breakfast with my spouse. The country fried steak was on point- cubed steak with sausage gravy and plenty of potatoes. My wife had good old bacon and eggs. She likes her eggs completely cooked through-weird taste in eggs and men- anyhow they got the eggs right. Service was fast and efficient. It's not fine dining but it gets the job done. I understand that all supplies have gone up in cost but the quality should be there as well when that happens. This used to be one of my favorite places but it is not the same. For the cost of a meal for 3 we now know to go elsewhere where cost = quality. The pancakes were tough and not good and the bacon was awful. So disappointed. read more

I just ordered pancakes $6.95 and 4sausages $4.95 took a bite of the pancakes and was so dissapointed those pancakes were made with regular flour NOT pancake mix they were hard chewy and DID NOT TASTE LIKE PANCAKES, pancakes are supposed to be flufy and soft and delicious first and last time here Sad to say i went MD and got pancakes there!!! So at first site you can tell it's been here a very long time and may not seem high end but this is where every local told me to go. This is a locals spot it's right across from the police station so it's a safe place it's a family place and it's got friendly staff. The food is fantastic the burger I had was one of my favorites and my mom said she hasn't had scrambled eggs or breakfast food that good in 10 years or anywhere at all in Portland that she would come back from Portland to here for breakfast. The bathroom water is only scalding hot so for that I can't do a 5 cause u have to wash ur hands not burn them. Def should try !!! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place was terrible! The service was shitty. We were seated by the bathrooms and were never waited on, unless we waved to get attention. When the food came, the Denver omelette was only lukewarm. The toast was soaked in butter and the pancakes were literal hockey pucks! They were flat, chewy and tasteless. This is a typical Sysco canned foods assembly line. Open can, heat up contents. Mix contents with one other can and reheat endlessly. Make false claim that you make all your own food. Serve bland and tasteless plates of industrial slop. "Our biscuits are homemade".........and monkeys just flew outta my ass. IHOP smokes these guys, they are really that incredibly disgusting. Visited Riley's twice, once for lunch and then again for breakfast. The lunch visit was satisfactory....the place is more of a locals hangout rather than a tourist place.... Good fish and chips, for sure. Server was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. Went back for breakfast yesterday and the place was pretty dirty. Service was still good but things were just....not clean. Food was adequate but nothing special. Scrambled eggs were just chopped up eggs that had been dumped on the griddle, no scrambling. My biggest complaint came after using the men's room. I was so grossed out I was ready to leave without eating. No paper towels, the mirror was almost unusable it was so dirty. The door handle was nasty...I used toilet paper to open it because of no paper towels. Sink and toilet was filthy, walls were stained and dirty, and the smell was nauseating. This had not just been ignored that day, this was obviously not cleaned for months. Now, you may say just don't use the bathroom.... But this is the same bathroom the two male cooks use. Do they not wash their hands in the same bathroom? We ate our food and left as soon as possible. While paying I mentioned it to the server who said she would pass it on. Being female I assumed she had not seen it first hand so I went in to a little bit of detail. It clearly wasn't appreciated as she more forcefully reiterated she would pass it on. I did not feel like my concern was taken seriously. Clearly, not going back. read more

Riley's service is the best. The food is decent, fresh and made with care. It's not fancy, but they do a great job. Sometimes you don't want fancy; you just want to eat. And with every restaurant trying to out foodie one another...sometimes it's a relief to have simple food. Love breakfast here. They nail eggs over easy and it's pretty fast. If you want a Bloody Mary, they've got you covered. In many ways, I prefer Rileys to Pig. They also have corned beef hash, which nobody has anymore! Easy parking. Low fuss. Fab service. read more

We love Riley's. We've been eating here for years. Don't expect gourmet, flashy intagram worthy food. What you can expect is good home cooked food at a fair pricepoint for the coast. I love their steak sandwhich, and they have the best breakfast in Seaside. The service is always good and extremely attentive. Forget that Pig N Pancake place in town, skip the wait during tourist season and go to Riley's. It's where the locals go. read more

We just happened to look over and decided to stop. There were very few diners there at the time, so we weren't too sure if that was an omen or not. After walking up and down the Pacific coast at dawn, and seeing all the strange things in tide pools, I worked up quite an appetite, but wasn't exactly in the mood for sea cucumber omelet or anything. I wanted a nice, normal eggs and potatoes breakfast, which I got here at Riley's-- though I almost forgot to take a picture before it was devoured. Every small town should have at least one breakfast spot like this. The waitress was really good, and brought one of those gold, plastic pots of coffee and left it on the table. I wanted the corned beef hash but found it came in a can. I did have an omlete and that turned out OK. Overall it is alright but cannot say the service was great or the food rocked. The only good thing I have to say about this place is the waitress is kind and attentive. Everything else was awful. The food was horrible. I asked for an omelette and added mushrooms and jalapeños to it for $2 more. What I got was basically an omelette with one entire can of mushrooms added to it and another can of jalapeños added to it. The ingredients are not fresh and all I could taste was the soggy brown paper towel taste of canned mushrooms. The sausage gravy appears to be a ham-based gravy which make the flavors really weird. The menu is way too big and offers too many different foods, which I should have been more suspicious of. Nothing came fresh. The booths have seen better days. I was incredibly uncomfortable having my curious toddler sitting in a torn booth with stuffing from the early 90's poking out. Would not recommend and will never return. read more
