    Most delicious Chicken noodle soup!
    Ellen K.

I think I came here many years ago for a breakfast of Razor clams & eggs, which I've always remembered was so good! Prime rib on Fri/Sat nites seems to be the thing with alot of restaurants on the coast. I arrived about 45 minutes before closing and was surprised they weren't busy. I ordered the Prime rib special with soup & baked potato. The Chicken noodle soup was one of the best I've ever had! Chocked full of chicken, egg noodles & diced carrots in a savory broth. Usually, I have to add salt & pepper to my soup, but not this time. That soup is what you want curled up at home under a cozy blanket. This is not fine dining, so the Prime rib is portioned ahead of time and then reheated to order. When it arrived I thought it was over cooked because it was brown all over. However, when I cut into it, it was perfectly medium rare, tender, and very flavorful! Served with horseradish cream and au jus. You can get straight horseradish too. My baked potato was cooked thoroughly being creamy dreamy goodness stuffed with butter & sour cream. I did add s&p - LOL. And was so happy it came with these delicious green beans with bacon. They were perfectly cooked & seasoned (no s&p needed). Cooked from fresh or frozen, definitely not canned. Too full for dessert, so took a piece of Chocolate cream pie, which was also very good. Good chocolate flavor & not too sweet. My waitress Sarah was awesome and frequently checked to see if I needed anything. This divey gem is worth the stop!

Nice quiet restaurant in the heart of Seaside, OR. Our server was friendly but screwed up our order. My mother -in-law ordered a Turkey sandwich and ended up with a roast beef sandwich and my wife ordered a Fish & Chips basket and wound up with a grilled Halibut steak. My Deluxe Hamburger was the only thing that didn't get messed up. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. If you want to go somewhere with a diner feel to it, this might be the place, otherwise I would maybe look elsewhere.

    $5 sausages

I just ordered pancakes $6.95 and 4sausages $4.95 took a bite of the pancakes and was so dissapointed those pancakes were made with regular flour NOT pancake mix they were hard chewy and DID NOT TASTE LIKE PANCAKES, pancakes are supposed to be flufy and soft and delicious first and last time here Sad to say i went MD and got pancakes there!!! They were flufy and soft like pancakes are supposed to be was able to eat them with disposable silverware!!! If MD pancakes are better than theirs THAT IS SAYING A LOT

They screwed up eggs, sausage and hash browns for 15 bucks. This place is sad, dismal and did not taste good. Terrible.

Kind of like the feeling of coming home. The place was packed -- just a testament to their very good food and excellent drinks -- there was even a couple sitting outside and they had a fire going. Wish I had taken that photo. It was a really beautiful moment. The place was decorated and felt very holiday festive with small bright lights reflecting off the tin ceiling. Excited to have a couple of days on holiday here. Stopped in to pick up their latest version of fudge because Christian the Baker keeps evolving the art of fudge making...and you don't want to miss an iteration. Using the owner's grandfather's recipe as the base, he makes some of the best fudge in Oregon. Tonight I was told he decided to explore a Mediterranean approach and added nutty sesame to the fudge. The sharp but soft chocolate is a perfect compliment to a delicious drink on a cold, cold night. While I was waiting for the fudge to be packaged to take back to the fireplace in my room, I spied their latest culinary endeavor sitting in jars on the counter... and actually started salivating. They are now serving Pickled eggs. Incredible. When was the last time you had a pickled egg? When done right, pickled eggs are among the most satisfying and clean bite of delicious ungrilled, ungreasy proteins in the world. And the lounge has decided to serve two different kinds, so we might've died and gone to heaven. If you love eggs of every kind, as I do, boiled eggs hold a special place because they are hearty and compact and completely whole. So when you add a spices and acid to that perfection...it emerges as "wow." The service was attentive and thoughtful always, and I was told they're open New Year's Eve until 9.

The table wasn't wiped from previous glassware on the table but wasn't too bothersome. Napkins were already at the table so we could wipe it just fine. Despite it being in the heart of the tourism area, the vibe of the restaurant stayed classy for all guests. I saw employees of all kinds frequently greeting customers which made it feel all the more welcoming. The food itself beat my expectations. It was priced fairly for the quality we received. My filet mignon was a perfect medium-rare and the broth from the steamer clams was incredible! Ceviche was also 10/10.

It was a good fish. I enjoyed the mango chutney. My husband enjoyed the Salmon. The rice that came with both was underwhelming. The seasonal crisp was raspberry and mango which was VERY good and I am picky about my crisps. The chocolate dessert was good, my husband had it. TLDR: it was a good meal with a good view with good service. What more could you ask for?

The clam chowder was grainy, as in sand I assume, and tasted fishy. This was not great. I had really great clam chowder this week at a few places and this was the worst one. I had the seafood linguine which tasted fishy. So it was not great and it was expensive, per the norm for the area. I understand the pricing matches the area but the food was not good. I normally give a place a couple tries before posting a review when I have a bad experience but we are from out of town and with a limited time schedule. The disappointment of a wasted expensive evening pushed me to post this so no one else spends the same money, wasting their time and resources. TLDR: No matter how nice you are it does not make up for low quality food with expensive pricing.
