Furniture outdated. Wait time for food we ordered took forever. We were only ones in place with food order. Food not good. Fries overseasoned. No ice tea or lemonade. Waited 15 minutes for server to take my card to pay. Only plus was the mariners game was 9n and the chiefs vs chargers game. Other than that would not waste ur time. To reply to ur stupid reply. I left a 10% tip on my 32 order, which was 3. The place was not busy. 1 person was at the bar when we came in. A total of 7 people came in while we were there. 4 of which at the end. Tried to give this place another chance a month after our first visit with hopes that things had improved. They had not. Went midday and the sign on the door said closed even though the sign below it said they were open at that time. Checked the website and it said they should be open...but they were not. Our server was cool and very nice. The vibe of the place was a little awkward...like it was unfinished. It has great potential, in my opinion, the walls were empty, furniture just didn't carry the vibe. The advertising was looking pretty good but when we got there it was disappointing. We didn't get food because it was taking too long and they didn't have food prep not for one order but the second attempt too. Maybe I'll (we) be back but these yelp reviews will need to make a 180. None of the food we ordered looked anything like the menus. Is this menus AI? The calamari was so over done it was dehydrated inside and crunchy. The skewers were mostly onions and peppers. Not what we wanted. Hopefully they get the kitchen together. The only thing going so far was the bartender making do with what she had still able to mix some drinks. She also waited on us. 1 star. The Twisted Monkey has an interesting setup. It's all counter service, no wait staff, nor guidance when you arrive. The line to order food and drinks was about 12 people deep. No description is provided for the food items on the menu. hour One hour and 45 minutes after ordering, I inquired about our food, 5 minutes later I was told they were out of the item I ordered, asked about my husband's order and was told they were very busy and had a lot of call in orders. I did not see anyone picking up to-go orders and had a full view of the counter. Not an acceptable response. When the Ruben sandwich we ordered did arrive, it was ok - the meat was very tastey, very little sauerkraut and no dressing. Fries were VERY GOOD. Beer was cold. The building must be possessed. Went here last night to see if it could be a place to watch football and play pool. Booze was reasonably priced, and the bartender was friendly, but only 4 of the 16 beer taps were in use. Pool tables were opened up to free play and all 3 tables were available all night. That's every silver lining I can think of. The menu was hilarious, nothing made sense and the prices were laughably high, $9 for French fries, $16 for 6 chicken wings LOL, burgers with fruit on them... Good lord what a disaster. Live band was in their 60's/70's and rambling, mocking the singer was actually the highlight of our night (no one could hear us, we weren't being rude). Event for the night was "Ladies night" there was 5 women in the bar at 8pm all of them 65+. The pool room was the best feature of this bar but unfortunately they have a loud speaker in there blasting the music from the live band that's playing just feet away from the doorway into the pool room so you're going to hear the band over your thoughts, good luck having a conversation. Not surprised no one showed up to play pool despite the best pool room setup in Lacey. You can see the wiring for 3 TVs in the pool room and across the bar is 4 little TVs that are hilariously undersized for how high up and far away they are from everyone. They should move those small TVs into the pool room, remove the speaker, and put some 70"+ TVs in the main bar instead. They could probably survive as a business if they switched the vibe from 55+ and AI apes theme to instead focusing on billiards tournaments, sports, and a small well executed and affordable menu. read more

I came in on a ladies night with my boyfriend. Was definitely an interesting experience. I wanted to try the monkey paw pretzel due to being a little hesitant to try other food due to reviews. it was just a regular pretzel wasn't bad but wasn't anything special. Tequila selection was very limited. My boyfriend asked for the best margarita she can make and the bartender said they only had a little bit left of patron from the freezer but could use bacardi... He then proceeded to let her know that's not tequila. He agreed to patron. The glass ended up breaking, stuff like that happens in a bar but I was concerned that the glass went into his drink or the ice bin. She said it didn't and we took her word for it. I wanted to see the drag show since I have attended ones in the past at other establishments. It wasn't bad for the first few acts but I wish a disclaimer on the website or post regarding the drag show happening might have slight/ almost nudity. We still tipped the performers because they definitely put work into the performance. A regular in there had a dog with him. Cute dog not aggressive. The guy said he was a service dog so I made sure I didn't pet the dog or try and distract the dog from working. But the guy went to the bathroom and the dog was left outside the bathroom and was walking all around and going up to people and under tables. The gentleman came out the bathroom and started playing catch/Fetch with the dog? The ball ended up going over someone's tables almost hitting drinks and food and the dog ran under the table and all up in peoples space. The gentleman was drinking and having a good time. We ended up leaving because the gentleman made a comment to me about going up and touching man boobs. Talking about the drag queens. I hope he didn't go up and try and sexually touch or harass the performers. Besides the performers was about 6 people in the establishment. If you speak the truth about this place, the owner just comes back with lame excuses. We ate half our food and they just come back and state "you ate most of your food." Fries were smothered in a ton of salty seasoning. Burger bland. We read the menu online and were excited to try the place. Bad decision. Blames crappy customer service on being busy." There was 1 person there when we walked in, one couple came in after we already had our food, then a few people came in and sat at the bar. Another couple came in but decided to leave. Mind you this was a Friday night at a bar. His excuse to the lack of patrons is "it is not a 5 star Michelin establishment." Yet the Log Cabin and Pints & Quarts were busy. Waitress never even bothered to refill our water. When trying to get her attention a couple of time so we can pay and leave, she couldn't be bothered. Not real sure what they are doing on the tables that make you stick to them. Bottom line the food sucks, customer service sucks, nastiness on the tables.
