Nice vibe! There's a couch, a big chair, music books, and a tambourine

Had a great time dropping in on a last minute Friday night in Lynnwood! I called ahead and asked if there was space for two and they said sure just walk in. You will need your ID, it's 21+, and DONT BRING FOOD OR DRINK IN it's like a $100 fine if you do, I'm glad I saw it noted on Yelp before accidentally bringing a water bottle or something. Ours was one hr for $25, Friday Nov 2022 Ask for help with the music selecting tablet if you need it! Or try google lens/translate if you don't read Korean. Random videos play with every song, we didn't have any songs that played the actual music video but some of the mashups were really incredible haha. Also note that the front desk has monitors watching all the rooms! Just be aware for when you're throwing it back or getting silly with it! Haha

Hours indicated that they are open until 2am but at 1am the store was closed. Sad!

Hours on Yelp states that they are open until 3am and their sign on the door stated they are open until 2am but they were closed when we Ubered over at 1am! So sad and mad that I'm now leaving an unhappy review as a potential customer. I hope you know how frustrated I feel if you've ever been overcome w the late night singing bug. Please keep your posted-hour promises!

Big Bang is a lot of fun. It's not all luxe like Rockbox; in fact, it's pretty much the opposite with decor that Hillary from Trading Spaces would have come up with, but it's a great time! Cost us $25/an hour to be here with a private room, and we walked in without reservations. Reservations are available and encouraged, else you'll be waiting. The lighting automatically changes for each song, with the room lights automatically coming up between songs. Would have liked being able to control that, and the disco ball was either dead or burnt out, but no big deal. They have songs in English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Filipino. They call it "Philippinese" on the menu, good grief! Some of the translations between languages is incorrect for the songs, but who cares. The karaoke machine scores the singer at the end. The three of us found it interesting how it scored us when we were doing a duet or all three of us were singing. They don't allow outside food or drink but had menus available for ordering. No waitstaff came and checked us on the whole time, would have liked being able to order some drinks. Parking is free! This is located in a strip mall that's away from the main road of 99.

    There's Big Bang!

Found a new karaoke joint muhaha! Came here on a Saturday night around 7:30pm and was greeted in Korean by the guy at the front. Apparently I look Korean or so I've heard. We got the regular room, which is $25/hour, but I guess if you come here on a weeknight it's happy hour 4-9pm and thus half price. The remote thing in the karaoke room is in hangul, so unless your Korean is bomb from bomb dot com, you will probably need the English translation card that you can ask for. What is cool about this place is that when a song starts, all the lights in the room go dim, which really sets the mood. It's also good because it discourages your friends from searching frantically through the song book while you are singing. I don't know---I'm the type that likes to actually listen to friends sing instead of not pay attention and look for my own songs. #karaokeetiquette The place has a wide selection of English, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, and Tagalog songs (it's "Philippinese" on the actual book). The background videos are pretty cool too because they are mostly PVs of Korean songs, and surprisingly the song really matches the video despite being different languages! My only complaint is that this place does not have certain songs. For example, some Korean songs we were expecting are not there. There is also a lack of Macklemore songs as well as Khalil Fong's songs. In addition, maybe we are just dumb but we could not search by artist for some reason, so we ended up going through the songbook and searching by song title. I'll come here again the next time I'm feeling for karaoke and am in the area for like Korean BBQ or something of that sort. By the way, Arirang BBQ is next door!!

    Controller.....in Korean

Came here recently, pretty cool place! I dont be up in Lynnwood very much but I dont mind coming here at all! It's Located in a newer strip mall with some Korean restaurants around, teriyaki joints etc. You check-in at the front, the rooms are numbered and also named by planets like Uranus. I think we got the medium sized room which was spacious for 5 of us. Comfy counches, but the room was a bit warm, but they are quick to bring you a box fan to put in the corner to keep it cool in there. Nice big tv monitor, room comes with a few tambourines, good sound system, a monster controller to enter your songs and control the specifications, add effects etc. (Controller is in Korean, but there is a cheat sheet to use to translate what the buttons mean). There was another tv monitor on the backside wall too if you want to stand in front of your friends while singing. The lights dim, disco ball turns, the effects come on for each song but the regular room lights come on in between. Pretty cool in my book! A decent selection of English songs but the book is mainly by song title and not by artist. They have other language songs too from Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and "Philippinese" for you Filipinos. hahaha! Beer, water and soda are offerred, not much food except chips and some candy. But I think they will allow you to bring food from the Korean restaurant next door. Definitely a place I would come back to!

What a fun spot. Open for barely a month it's fast becoming the hip new spot to sing your bloody lungs out! The rooms are spacious, well decorated, and feature lights and an atmosphere that make you feel like Axel Rose in his heyday! If you aren't familiar with the Korean style Norebang style of karaoke, you rent a room and sing while paying per hour. The rate is $25 an hour and is one of the best bang for ya buck when it comes to singing your heart out. Happy Hour is 1/2 off the rate and is from 4-9PM. I HIGHLY SUGGEST COMING! I came for my first time tonight and had a blast, lost my voice but it was great! 5 ooooooh-we're-half-way-there-oooooooh-livin-on-a-prayer stars out of 5!!

Ask the Community - Big Bang Karaoke

What time do they actually open? Facebook and Google are showing different hours.

Stopped by today. They open at 7pm all days. No 5pm open.

There are songs in English to ya?

    Yes

How much does it cost for 5 people?

    $25 per hour!

Do they serve food? I saw an older post (from 2012) that says they can order food from the Korean restaurant next door. Is that still the case?

You can order food from Kochi Po-Cha two doors down. The Korean restaurant, Dawa, right next door is not allowed (different owner).

Are kids allowed in this establishment? Or is it 21 and older only?

    Yes, minors are allowed.

    Any Chinese and Japanese songs?

I believe so, yeah! The song books had a couple different ones and the reviews mention these included.

They're huge. I got the steak special (discounted on Mondays), and it was high quality steak, cooked perfectly. It cages with a huge salad, broccolini or asparagus (which are options not usually provided at most bars) and another side dish (I got the loaded baked potato). All of it was high quality AND plentiful! The drink selection is also great, and the service was both friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

It's just the right vibe, the drinks are strong, and the bartenders are attentive and nice. My grandma also likes this bar and she doesn't drink but she likes to go here for her birthday which typically happens to be on Super Bowl Sunday. They never complain about her coming in early to "set up" a table and they never make her feel weird which I really appreciate because I mean she brings like board games and stuff to a bar and doesn't drink so it is a bit odd but glad the staff make her feel welcome. Even on Super Bowl Sunday, the staff checks on us like every 10 minutes, no matter how busy it is. They don't pressure you to get a drink or food but they do offer which is also something I very much appreciate. Aside from all of this, I once had someone tell me this place has the best clam chowder and I was thinking "......? Ew?? Clam chowder from a bar??" Well I still have never tried the chowder, but I can tell you the Ruben is fire and you should definitely get one. I like mine dipped in au jus. I can say that the vibe/customers inside can vary, since I don't go as frequently it may have changed but there's definitely regulars as well as people from different age ranges. They've got a nice dart set up, lots of seating, pool tables, and a very large bathroom (good mirror to take pictures in the ladies room) Definitely don't pass this place up if you're looking for a good sandwich, nice bartenders, chill vibes, and good drinks. I would recommend coming around like 9 or 10 because parking can fill up, but typically you can still find a spot to squeeze into even if you get there later. I have started and ended my night here and never regretted it lol

Kitchen is serving great pub grub. In long This one hovered in my mind between 4 and 5 stars for a while. It's not quite a basic place, but they maybe could live with being called that. Bottom line, even if it's not for absolutely everyone, the people who come in and enjoy it won't feel like anything's missing at all, so it's five stars. You pull up to kind of a crummy parking lot in front of kind of a crummy-looking strip mall, and you walk through a heavy security door. Nothing looks or feels fancy from outside. Inside, though, everything's clean and well lit. All the furniture is well made; there are lots of custom booths and the light fixtures all match. You don't feel a sense of luxury, but they built this place from the ground up, they built it right, and it's a nice antidote to the exterior vibe. There are at least a dozen huge flatscreens up around the room, at least downstairs. Evidently there's a whole upstairs that we didn't even check out. There aren't a ton of sports decorations, they keep it tidy--but the TVs are showing sports news or the game. This place must get thumping for big games. I can't even imagine trying to park those days. You get a warm greeting right away, with menus on your table in seconds. The menu is a lot of dependable old pub-grub favorites. Pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, chips, rings, fries, and so on. Thing is, they put a lot of thought and effort into each one, kinda going for bragging rights for the best in town on lots of simple dishes. They make the onion rings in house, I'd bet. You can add garlic and parmesan to your chips. The sandwiches are built right with plenty of filling. Prices are competitive, and you will definitely get full. Some people who love to eat love pub grub, and some of those people built the menu and designed the recipes here. We had a couple rounds of cocktails, and all of them did the trick. Made well, served right, good balance of sweetness, good flavors. If this place were a little closer we'd be here a lot.
