Went here for our 9 year Anniversary. Had a great time. Saturday they had some music entertainment which is why we came a little before 3pm. Staff was friendly and had nice recommendations. We chose the Wine Flight to taste some new flavors. We ordered lots of food. French Dip with au jus was delicious. The baked Brie with chorizo was my favorite. Do yourself a favor and add the chorizo!!! I ate the entire bowl I loved every bite. It was cheesy with a kick of spice from the chorizo. Pork belly skewers were tasty. I wish it had a lil crunch to them but still enjoyed them. We ordered the small charcuterie because we were filling up. We ended with the Smash Burger. It was very meaty and cheesy. Everyone in there was dancing to the music singing a long. Singers even came to our table to chat. It was definitely a great environment. We definitely will be back more often. Perfect Girls-Night-In Spot! Came here to catch up with some girlfriends, and had a great time! The ambiance is dark, casual and cozy. No reservations, just first come first serve. Also, no official time of closing, depends on the flow of the night! I love this relaxed approach to the place. Servers are very friendly. Food is delicious! And so is their wine. We enjoyed a dinner for the first time last night on the patio at Twisted Vine! It was an amazing meal! We tried many items from their menu including their Friday special which was the smash burger! My husband and I have tried many smash burgers and theirs is hands down our favorite especially with one of their beer seltzers called the prickly pear! We tried three of their four desserts and the waffle sundae was perfection! We woke up today craving it! I took pics of the many items we tried. It was a wonderful night with amazing food and great company! We definitely will be returning customers for many years to come! This is just a great place to come if you want to enjoy some quality wine with a variety of options like a wine flight, or get a few glasses or just get a bottle to enjoy and share. Came last night with a friend and we got great food, drink and service. We started with a red flight and white flight each. Me and my friend are both Somms and we were impressed with the quality as well as the selections. A good variety of whites and reds to enjoy. We then got on to eating! Bomb food I must say. Everyone that has been here knows about the Brie Bowl, a must for anyone coming here. We then got the Mediterranean Flatbread and Chicken Empanadas and they were both superb! Loved those Empanadas and the sauce it comes with. We then split a Pesto Pasta with chicken and each got another glass of wine. I got their Syrah (I thought it was just so so, I usually drink Syrahs from the Rhône particularly Hermitage.) but California is making more Syrah these days which I find mediocre. We then ended with some dessert (Oreo cookie chocolate) and with Royal Tokaji a delicious after dinner drink that is super floral with lychee notes and not too sweet. It was crowded on Friday night and we didn't want to sit at the bar so we waited for a table. Only 2 of us but the table was more comfortable since we ordered appetizers, beer and wine. We've visited Twisted Vine pre-Covid and again a couple weeks ago. On both occasions, the service and food were stellar. The ambience is ideal for either a one-on-one conversation or a large party, which we just had. This latest visit was with a wine group of 20 people and they hosted us easily, while still having plenty of space for other customers. There are tall bar tables/stools in the front and comfy lounge chairs/couches near the back. It has a very cool vibe/décor. SERVICE: Everyone on staff is friendly and works hard to ensure you have a wonderful experience. Dave and Trish hosted and poured for our wine group. Dave provided the details on each wine and why it was paired with one of their small plates. DRINKS: Of course, they have wine...lots of it. An impressive menu as well as a wall of bottles not on the menu. There's a glass for everyone. For the beer drinkers, there's also a nice selection of craft beers. FOOD: Small bite plates. Previous visit, the Baked Brie bread bowl was large portion, garlicky, but very tasty. The tomato bisque was excellent, creamy and not too acidic. It was served piping hot with a crostini on the side. More recently, we had a pre-fixe wine/food pairing menu for a group of 20 guests: · Blanc de Blanc (50/50 Chardonnay & Chenin Blanc) with a Cheese & Charcuterie board · Gruner Veltliner with Burrata Cheese Sauce & Prosciutto on flatbread · Syrah/Carignan Rosé with a Feta Cheese Dip and pita · Zinfandel (Dry Creek in NE Sonoma Valley) with Chorizo & Potato Empanadas · Chilean Malbec with Steak Chimichurri crostini · Mosel Riesling with French Toast Empanadas All of the wines were good, and the appetizers were delicious. This is a very nice wine bar and it's perfect for a date. There is sometimes live music. Service is always friendly and knowledgeable. I especially love the flat bread. Omg the Flatbread is probably the best in town. Crispy, flavorful, and leaves you wanting to order another one. We've also tried the caprese salad lollipops and the shrimp. All are great choices. Not a bad lil spot to hang out, unwind, have a drink and grab a bite to eat! Also a potential date option if you're looking for a spot to take a special someone. The decor is that of a gritty, charming speak easy. The service was great -- our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. There's a fairly large selection of wine as well as a decent variety of food to choose from. While alcohol is likely one of the main allures to come here (they have quite a selection), I don't drink so I actually came here to grab a bite to eat. So my review is more focused on that aspect. The food I went with were: olives, a salad, a cheese board and a flatbread. I enjoyed the olives. They tasted fresh and were pitless. They tasted salty, but not overly so. The cheese board was REALLY something and what I would recommend the most. In addition to a variety of cheese, the cheese board also came with more olives, some bread, salami and sides of dijon mustard and honey for dipping. My advice -- get the cheese board. It was tasty, had good variety and is a great plate to share. The salad was actually a bit disappointing. The dressing was not very tasty and the the salad was oversaturated in dressing. The salad is a pass from me. I couldn't finish it. If anything, maybe try the dressing on the side and add a little to see if you like it. The flatbread was ok. It was a bit overly salty tasting. Still, it wasn't awful. I don't think I'd order it again, but I did finish it. Despite the salad being a miss for me and the little-too-salty tasting flatbread, I still very much enjoyed my time at the Twisted Vine. Those two hiccups weren't enough to tarnish the rating. I had a good time, enjoyed the atmosphere and service and most of my meal. I would come back, especially for the cheeseboard and olives. Called now to order a cheese platter. I let her know I could order on the phone or stop by. She was confused and Trisha asked, "I don't understand for today or another day? Yes we sell cheese platters." At what point do people want loyal business. I was made to feel as if I was asking the wrong question. She was demeaning and I will not recommend Twisted Vine, even though I love it. I would rather give my money and loyalty to a restaurant who respects all questions and doesn't make you feel less than. So dissatisfied but mostly disappointed. I went there on a Tuesday night(12/9/25), and I arrived at 6pm. The host/server was very friendly and when asked where to sit, he said anywhere is fine. I met someone there and once seated, it took longer than usual for someone to take our drink order. My friend finally had to go to the bar and ask for waters. The bartender was not accommodating. He proceeded to tell her they were "slammed," and she needed to wait. Wow, not good. Finally our server brought us waters and we ordered right away lest we not see him for awhile. We both ordered the McPrice Meyers Cabernet and it was really nice. Next, we ordered the bread and balsamic which was extremely delicious and and a great way to start our meal. After that, they brought out the chorizo flatbread I ordered, but I have to say I was disappointed. The chorizo looked like pepperoni slices and there was hardly any on the flatbread. I have to say though, it was still tasty. However, the worst part is, it came out COLD and the crust was soft and somewhat soggy. Tasty, but the texture was off and it wasn't served hot. Overall, I had expected a larger selection of win, but I made do with a paso cab. I ordered the feta dip, empanadas and the prosciutto flat bread and they were all exceptionally good for a wine bar. The feta dip was much better than I expected, although I would have preferred more red pepper flakes. The empanadas had an amazing sauce and were a bit spicy- but I loved it. Service is HORRIBLE I have been a twisted vine customer for over 16 years. Although probably what you would define as a "regular", I am confident that I have generated a few thousand in revenue to you as a business. Today a friend any myself stopped by to pick up both our mixed wines as Cru members. We were met on the patio by Wendy after we walked in and noted a closed for private party sign. Every interaction whether on the phone, via email and now in person with Wendy has been negative. She is rude, nasty and condescending. I did advise that we checked the website and it should hours on Sunday starting at 10am. We just asked if we could pick up our wines. Wendy opted to finish wiping off all the patio table first while she reprimanded us. I am well of age that I don't need someone to tell me what to do and that we should come back later. When she did bring out our wine, she put both bags on a table vs handing them to us. I arrived excited to pick up my wine and left dumbfounded. I will not subject myself to this kind of treatment any longer. I am done. Wendy has no customer service skills, treats customers badly and has single handedly lost you this 16 year customer. I will make no further plans to your establishment. I also have knowledge that this is not the only customer complaint about Wendy. Great first experience from the drinks to the food and service (also had live music tonight!)! For drink I wanted something that could pair well with food but something on the sweeter side. Our server Matt gave me a sample of the Riesling from Germany and it was perfect! Not too sweet but sweet enough for my taste and paired well with my food. My group got the baked Brie to share and it definitely is a must try! As for myself I had to try the chorizo and potato empanadas cause it comes with a green cilantro sauce that my friends were raving about and they were right! We came for the bottomless mimosas ($15) offered every Sunday and fell in love with this gem! The bartender has a wonderful mimosa bar with a variety of self serve juices and berries to choose from. She was the only one working that day, yet never neglected us. Our glasses always remained full. The food is outstanding as well.
