Came here to watch world cup games and I had so much fun! Food: 4/5 The food selection consists mostly of finger foods that pair with drinks. I had ordered chicken wings with fries and corn cheese. I was pretty satisfied with the flavor, the only downside is the price. I would say for the portion and quality it's a bit more expensive than other spots. The beers are delicious, it's cold and crisp perfect for the summer. Oh they have free popcorn too! Service 5/5 No complaints about the servers, they were quick and attentive. It's pretty easy to get their attention since ordering is done through an iPad which every table has. Ambiance 5/5 I love the ambience of this place, really feels like i'm in korea again. There's decent amount of seats and space. Three big TVs to watch any games and outdoor seats are nice as well.

Saturday at 6pm, we had a 15 minute wait. By the time we finished, there were way more people in line. The ice beer is pretty much your only beer option, but it's their specialty. The food is good but not great. The menu is also pretty small so you don't get a lot of choices. The fish crackers, black bean noodles, and corn cheese were good. We were disappointed the only soy garlic wings were boneless and the other flavors had bone in. Definitely skip the calamari cuz it was near impossible to chew. I probably won't come back unless they do a menu overhaul.

Free pop corn. $6.99 fries and $14.99 frozen calamari that's been refried.

Food: Frozen fried food at inflation cost. Pass Service: Boss man needs to hire more peeps to react to media wave... too long of a wait for too little overall. Servers seemed overwhelmed. Ambiance: Great, packed. Clean this place up thou. Popcorn everywhere. Bathrooms dirty. Tables sticky. High expectations not met besides 20 sec cold beer look for a pic. I'll definitely give it a second shot.

Came here for the ice cold beer and it was super busy on a friday night, waited from 9:30-10:30 to be seated. The beer was ice cold as promised. The service was subpar, we got sat at the back table because we had a big party and we were not really checked on. They also messed up our food order that was forgotten for a long time to begin with. The beer was nothing too special other than it being ice cold. Interesting place to check out but not somewhere I would frequent.

    Pineapple sorbet. Absolutely refreshing!

This spot is another popular franchise from Korea that follows a similar concept as INS at The Source in Buena Park. ice-cold beer, affordable bar food, and ordering through a kiosk. If you're a fan of Korean-style pubs, you'll feel right at home. The first thing that stood out to me was the beer. It was light, crisp, and incredibly refreshing--exactly what you want on a hot day. Served ice cold, it paired perfectly with the food and made for a great way to cool off during this heat wave. The service was excellent. Even though the place was completely packed, our beers arrived within just a couple of minutes. The staff was friendly, efficient, and kept everything moving without missing a beat. The food is very reasonably priced. While the portions are a little smaller, I actually think that's part of the appeal since it lets you sample a variety of dishes. We ordered the chicken skewers, a few other appetizers, and finished with the pineapple sorbet. Everything was delicious, and the sorbet was the perfect refreshing dessert. It does get pretty lively inside, so expect a fun, energetic atmosphere. If you're looking for something a little quieter, the outdoor seating is a great option. Overall, this is the kind of neighborhood pub I'd happily come back to. Great beer, tasty food, fast service, and prices that make it easy to order a little bit of everything. If you're looking to beat the heat with an icy cold beer and some Korean pub food, this place is definitely worth checking out.

If you're looking for an ice cold beer on a hot day, this spot definitely delivers. Their famous ice cold frosty beers were incredibly refreshing and easily the highlight of the visit. The food, however, was a bit underwhelming. The menu leans toward fried foods with a handful of hot dishes. Not much to choose from. Sweet potato fries - Mushy and lacking the crispiness. We ordered this twice and same results. Regular fries- Decent. Fishcake soup - Decent. Corn cheese - Good. Shrimp stick pops - Overpriced for what you get. Cheese ramen tteokbokki- Comforting, though fairly average. Chicken wings- The best thing we ordered out of everything. The prices felt high considering the portion sizes - but I would come back for the beer, but unfortunately not for the food.

Review 70/365 Day challenge My Gfren and I tried going to a Korean pub for these known Ice cold draft beer at the source the 1st game of Korea vs Czech Republic on Thursday and it was a total fail. So we didn't get to go because of the madness of the weight. I think my phone recognizes that i was interested in the beers so on my ig popped up the next day regards to the grand opening of Yeokjeon Halmaek on Saturday 6.13.26. Since i had no plans that day. Decided to give it a try. Came here w my hubs, daughter and invited my mother in law to join. You order your food/items on the tablet on the table. They have complimentary fresh popcorn that's refillable. Service was exceptional for a Grand opening day. The vibe was awesome w raffling every hour w giveaways. The only bummer part was they were backed up in the kitchen so it took a while to get our food items. My mother in law was starving along w my daughter since it was around noon time when they opened their doors., We checked w the associate and they apologized for long wait. They brought my daughter a complimentary watermelon sorbet to apologize for the wait and my daughter was happy. Kept her entertained while waiting. The food we ordered was more like appetizer finger food. To enjoy w the iced cold draft Korean beer I washed to try, My 1st experience of Ice Cold beer, I'm not a beer person but definitely recommend. So refreshing good. Definitely plan to return w my other girlfriend for a date night especially to try their other pub food options. The restaurant had a pub vibe with lots of tv screen, decent amount of indoor tables and seatings along outdoor in the patio. Clean fun environment. Located in downtown Fullerton right next to All bout Pho and the Kickin crab. Literally off Harbor blvd. Parking in downtown Fullerton is a bit of a struggle especially on weekends and nights. FYI PARKING IS FREE during the day but after 9 p.m. there's a parking charge.

Honestly, this is a great pub for both drinks and food! While there can be a bit of a wait, the line moves quickly. Once seated, our food came out super fast and fresh--the only minor exception was the chicken skin mandu, which took a little longer, but was still worth it. The beer was ice-cold and refreshingly light, which hit the spot perfectly after a long, hot day at work. The place is nicely spacious and they have indoor + outdoor seating. It's slightly on the pricier side, but the quality makes it well worth the cost. I'll definitely be back! :)

Hmm as for pochas, this fits the vibe. However, I found the food selection/flavor and their portions just a bit lacking. If its meant to be a "everyone orders their own" then the portions arent too bad (the prices do reflect a single portion). I may be biased though as our rice order came in after we sent in TWO food orders. We ended up just cancelling it, our water wasn't filled constantly, and I believe water replenishment is an indicator for good service. Now I wouldn't say this as a driving factor as many restaurants are understaffed. The frozen beer was great! Something new, and as a beer hater, I would drink this. Overall if you're here for vibes and very light/quick snack then this is a cheap pocha for you. The food can be better, but if youre drinking a lot maybe the drunchies will take over. Just make sure to order HELLAA food.

This place has an Asian sports bar vibe. Lots of TVs around to watch games. They offer free popcorn with refills fresh from the popcorn maker. Food and drink: a unique choice of Korean food and bar type snacks to enjoy with their ice cold beer. The beer had a slight slush which was refreshing which needed to drink fast before ice melted. Parking is metered with a few 30min spots out front Service: Orders placed on kiosk and servers bring food and drink when ready A fun place to go with friends but a trek coming from HB area for me

I went in knowing the frozen beer was mostly a novelty, so my expectations were pretty measured. The real surprise was the food. We ended up trying a good portion of the menu (not everything made it into the photos), and two dishes absolutely stole the show: the fried shrimp heads and the chicken skin mandu. Both were outstanding. The shrimp heads were crispy, savory, and incredibly addictive, while the chicken skin mandu was one of the most creative and memorable bites I've had in a long time. I've never seen either dish executed like this anywhere else. Major kudos to the chef for bringing something genuinely unique to the table. I'm usually allergic to waiting in line, but this is one of the few places I'd happily make an exception for. The wait is manageable, especially since there are plenty of nearby bars where you can grab a drink and kill some time before your table is ready. Come for the frozen beer if you're curious. Come back for the food.

The hype about this spot is real. The place started getting packed around 7pm on a Thursday night. They use social media very wisely! I'll break it down. The frozen beer mug concept is novel, but the beer itself isn't that cold, so very moot point. Invest in a glycol system for ice cold beer. Ordering on a tablet and turnaround for food or drink delivery is SUPER FAST! No complaints on speed. The food itself was not good. Very meh. And we did try a variety of food. The men's restroom is a disaster. That toilet will be out of commission within 3 months for sure. The waitstaff hovering kind of uselessly by the expediting area were always snacking or nibbling on something. Must be a Gen Y or Z thing? Personally, I could do without watching the waitstaff chomping on food. Overall, not a great experience.

Good morning, everyone! This place kept catching my eye on social media, so I decided to give it a try. At first, I was captivated by the eye-catching frozen beer mugs -- perfect for a hot LA day -- and thought it would be really tasty. We checked out the spot right around opening time, and the service was already lively and welcoming. Even with what seemed to be a slightly understaffed team, the staff was determined to make sure every guest was satisfied. With the FIFA World Cup happening, they even played the games, adding an extra fun vibe. Despite a slight delay in getting our food and a growing line outside, the hardworking team kept pushing through, making everything run more smoothly. We sampled most of the popular dishes, and I can honestly say the food was excellent. The ambiance was lively and inviting, and the beer was truly delicious. Patience is key, especially when settling in for a larger group, but the experience was well worth the wait. Can't wait to go back!

They have a good selection of American food, and I ordered chicken risotto ($24) from the "favorites" section of the menu. Portion sizes here are good, and we were very full after dinner. Service here was basic, and we got everything we needed. Friday night is also a peak time at Downtown Fullerton, so it was hard to find parking spot. However, the ambience here was relaxed. While the chicken risotto was pricy, I enjoyed the mixed flavors and large portion size. The flavor came from the caper-parmesan beurre blanc sauce. It's a slightly creamy butter sauce with mild sweetness and added flavor from white wine. The capers added a very welcome tangy and savory seasoning to the sauce; they're one of my favorite garnishes. The flavors from the breaded chicken and risotto weren't too strong. However, I would've liked the dish more with if they put less parmesan because I enjoyed the flavor from the beurre blanc sauce the most.

Ambience on the inside as well as the outside are both pretty great. I've also never had a bad meal here, virtually all of their food is spectacular and made from scratch although their prices are not "cheap" they are also very fair, especially given the quality of food. The drinks are also dead on, they have a wide range of craft beer as well as a full bar. The service is great. The only thing I could think of the lands in the constructive arena is their live music. Sometimes they have open mic nights, other times they have a hired band or musician. The music is way, wayyy too loud. I don't mind live music, but it can't be so loud that you are unable to enjoy the company. Patrons should be able to talk to the person or the people next to them without being drowned out by the music. I recently came with friends for drinks and we were having a great time for the first 10 minutes we were there, but when the music started, we couldn't hear each other talk at all. So we just sat there quietly, drowned out to mediocre music. We all had another drink and then left. Might be a better idea to have the music loud enough to be slightly above background noise, but low enough where you can reasonably talk and listen to those around. Even ordering at the bar was tough. We would yell an order at the bartender, who would yell at back for confirmation. Often, exchanges in this dialogue included "what was that?"

Unfortunately, my experiences during the day have been the complete opposite, and both involved the same server, Tania B. The first incident occurred when I ordered my usual meal: the Steak Frites, cooked medium rare with the mushroom peppercorn gravy. When my meal arrived without mushrooms, I politely mentioned that it normally comes with them. Rather than checking with the kitchen or simply explaining the dish, Tania immediately insisted that it had never included mushrooms. I even asked if the recipe had recently changed because I had been there the previous week and it was served with mushrooms. She walked away, returned with a menu, tossed it on the table, and said, "It doesn't say mushrooms." Her tone and attitude were unnecessarily dismissive and unprofessional. Ironically, when I returned another evening and ordered the exact same dish, it was served with mushrooms. Today (7/31/26), I returned for lunch and, unfortunately, Tania was my server again. I ordered the Steak Frites medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium-well or well done. I politely explained that it wasn't cooked as ordered. She took the plate back, returned a few minutes later, and told me, "That's how it's going to be. Take it or leave it. The chef is the owner, and that's his message." I mentioned that last time she told me it didn't come with mushrooms and clearly there's mushrooms on my dish. She responds with, well sometime it does and sometimes it doesn't. I'm like so inconsistency is a thing here? She replies with if that's how you want to see it. I asked if I could speak with the owner directly, and she responded that he was "too busy making food" and refused to let me speak with him. My friend and I paid for the rest of our meal and were preparing to leave when I noticed another employee in the kitchen. I asked if he was the owner, and he explained that he wasn't and that the owner was actually downstairs. I simply asked if I could have Nick's phone number or email so I could share my concerns. The employee kindly said he would see what he could do. While we waited, Tania approached us multiple times in a confrontational manner instead of allowing us to wait peacefully. Rather than focusing on the guests seated at her bar, she seemed more interested in arguing with customers who had legitimate concerns. Throughout both visits, she displayed poor customer service, responded with attitude when simple requests were made (even something as basic as asking for a side of ranch seemed to annoy her), dismissed concerns instead of trying to resolve them, and escalated situations that could have been handled professionally in less than a minute. What makes this especially disappointing is that the restaurant itself is excellent. The food is consistently great, and Mario provides some of the best service I've experienced anywhere. Unfortunately, one employee can dramatically impact an otherwise outstanding restaurant. If Tania is, in fact, a manager as I was told, it's concerning. A manager should be setting the standard for hospitality, resolving guest concerns professionally, and de-escalating situations--not arguing with customers or making them feel unwelcome. I truly hope ownership addresses this because Pour Company deserves better representation than what I experienced. I would love to continue supporting this restaurant, but I will be avoiding daytime visits as long as this level of service continues.

Decent prices, cheap but good bar snacks, pool, darts, jukebox, and fun, all found here. The 6am opening time doesn't hurt either. I'll be stopping by every time I pass through this town.

However, you don't always want to feel like you're trying too hard to change your scenery, bumping you too far out of your comfort zone. The answer my friends, is the good old classic American dive bar. Now, many places like to call themselves a dive bar just because they never clean a single inch of their establishment and have seedy patrons that love to play the more than occasional 80's songs on the jukebox but don't be mistaken, a good dive bar is hard to find. Well, I happen to have found one and it's in Fullerton of all places. That's right, Fullerton, not Los Angeles, nor Hollywood nor some pop-culturally over-hyped city. What makes The Blue Door a good dive bar? First, there's earned consistency & routine. The drinks won't always be made well, or the bartender won't always be attentive but if you come a few times, you'll soon know at what time and day the drinks are made properly by knowing the schedules of the bartenders. Secondly, the drinks are stiff, the service is friendly and nobody bothers you unless you bother them. The atmosphere goes from lively and loud to quiet and solitary, again depending upon when you visit. Lastly, they're open from 6:00AM-2:00AM. They're not just there when the hipsters are around, they're there for you whenever you make the bad decision of using alcohol as an anesthetic. Stay searching for the last remains of Americana my friends....

The moment we looked at the menu, it instantly reminded us of Seoul--we had just been there a week ago! One of the dishes we ordered was the stir-fried chicken gizzard, which was something we absolutely loved while in Korea. I'm happy to say it did not disappoint. The flavor was very authentic and brought back memories of our recent trip. We ordered a few other dishes as well, but the chicken gizzard was definitely the highlight of the meal. To top it all off, we were seated on the patio and ended up having a great view of the 4th of July fireworks. Good food, authentic flavors, and a nice holiday atmosphere made for a surprisingly memorable dinner.

They give a healthy amount of seafood in their soup, mussels, squid, and the broth is served hot and satisfying. Tangsuyook or fried pork in sweet and sour sauce is a must! We also added the popcorn chicken and something about how they fry their items leaves the food crispy for days. Hubs has recently been a Thai tea fiend and the definitely enjoys the option here. Their to-go service is quick and easy too!
