Once he was here, we asked him his opinion on two wall switches in a different room that were not working, and he stayed longer (while I ran to Home Depot for new toggle switches) to fix both of them as well for just a little more added to our total. The fan install was a little more difficult than Ted anticipated, and it was an insane night in our home as well (my husband's car was at the shop and he needed it for work the next day so we had to get that taken care of while Ted was here working) - I'm sure he thought we were nuts, but he was very gracious and understanding about everything! The end results look great, and I am SO happy our light switches are working again - all of this was done for a third of the cost we were quoted by someone else to just do the install and paint the office ceiling (we ended up doing the painting ourselves anyway). We bought a custom home, and Low Voltage Service was in-charge of Cable/Phone/Internet/A/V hookups…read morewithin the home.. As with a custom home we had everything done custom.. from CAT 6 in every bedroom to wireless access points to help with WiFi coverage. Due to us having a great-room, speaker placement would be quite tricky. Luckily Low Voltage Service was able to address that concern and before the drywall went up, they ran the wiring for 5.1 surround sound. We also decided to have, speakers in all the rooms downstairs for a whole home audio set up. Again Low Voltage Services was able to provide the speaker runs for that as well. We also read that a central vac system would not only clean our home better, but be better for our allergies. So Low Voltage Service plumbed the entire house & garage w/central vac tubing to be utilized once we had enough funds to put in a central vac system. 1.5 years later we put in the central vac and noticed that a loud sucking noise was coming from the basement, I called up Tom from low voltage service, and he explained that the tubing would have been utilized for either a vac-sweep in the kitchen or for an outlet in the basement. He apologized that it should have been capped off by the builders, and offered to make it right for us. Great quality work from Low Voltage Service
