Really leaning towards 5 stars here as this is my new close-to-home favorite, but 4 until I give this place one or two more tries to make the spicy chicken sub the way I want it and also try a cheesesteak. Pizza has been outstanding every time. I really enjoy the plain cheese and buffalo chicken pizzas. Will try others in the future. Service is good with friendly staff cranking out orders all day and night long. Nice modern restaurant with always a clean appearance.

Very good food, fresh ingredients and everything tasted great! Staff were friendly and the dining area was clean and welcoming.

I had this food twice since the pandemic started . I think the restaurant is very clean and that's what I like the most about it . It's solid food, exactly what you'll expect from a pizzeria. I thought the wings were a nice size and well cooked . I'll eat here again .

Seriously the best pizza I've ever had! Lots of toppings, served hot, with good quality cheese. Crust was well cooked a crisp but not burnt. Ordered it through DoorDash which was easy and convenient! You should try DoorDash - the best way to get delivery from your favorite restaurants. My adventures with GrubHub delivery orders continues. This one was a disappointment. Not only did it take quite a while for them to get my food delivered to me, but the delivery driver called me and outright refused to bring the food up to the delivery location, which is on the 8th floor of my building. So far I have had no other business delivery drivers refused to do so, he insisted I meet him in the lobby. Normally I suppose this would not be an unreasonable request, but I order delivery because I am the person who answers the phone and I need to stay at my desk. A quick trip up the elevator would have taken care of this issue. Not only did my food arrived late, but it was cold. The pizza was almost flavorless, Wythe bland sauce and gummy cheese and this was a very rare occasion where I did not finish my pizza. The cheese sticks where cold and clearly came out of a freezer bag. This place was an all-around disappointment, and I will not be ordering again.

Brother's Ham Calazone on the Right, Ciervo's Italian Calazone on the left

I've eaten at what is now Two Brothers Pizzeria many times over the years. It's a fine spot for a quick New York Style slice. Recently I've been favoring Ciervo's Pizza which is right down the street. Today we decided to pit the two against each other in a head to head calazone taste test. We ordered as close to the same kind of calazone from each place as we could and the picture speaks for itself. Ciervo's calazone cost $1.59 more but had more filling, better flavor, and looks twice as delicious. Two Brothers might have more comfortable booth seating but they need to step up their calazone game if they want to beat Ciervo's.

Found myself in this part of Harrisburg looking for a place to grab a bite and take a break from the drive home from Westmoreland County, Pa. When the preferred Vietnamese joint was closed on Sunday, I looked across the street and saw Brothers Pizzeria open for biz. It wouldn't have the soup I was hankering for, but what the pho? Necessity may be the mother of invention, but hunger drives you to places you would not otherwise frequent. So it was this day. Fortunately, this oasis turned out to be a very pleasant diversion. It was bright and clean, and had a menu to still the savage beast growling within. I ordered their Chicken Cheesesteak Hoagie and sat at a booth to await its completion. No table service, I returned to the counter to pay, pick up and return to my table. No problem. The guys behind the counter were friendly and humorous. My sandwich was very good. The standout feature was the fresh roll in which the meal was enclosed. It was clearly different that the standard Italian torpedo, in that it was not creased on top, but was smooth and darker tan. The texture was coarser than expected, and the taste more grainy. It was excellent, and may have been their own creation. It held up strongly despite the weight and moisture within, and it was an easy lift, squeeze and bite, with little loss out the back door. It was a superior cheesesteak. While it is doubtful I will be back in this part of Harrisburg anytime soon (unless I am looking for pho again), but I would not hesitate to return to Brothers should the VN joint be closed other days of the week.

Decent pizza and subs shop in Midtown Harrisburg. Service is quick and the restaurant was clean. Overall, the pizza was okay, but nothing spectacular. I personally like Ciervos pizza, which is a block away better, but other Yelpers seem to like Brother Pizza better. I also ordered a cheese steak, which was very good, so for me, Brothers Pizza is best for their subs.

That was the best spot to get some food to recharge, so I decided to take a walk down memory lane and get an Italian sub when I got off of work. The staff was inviting, and the place still looked and smelled the same as it did when I was a kid. There was plenty of meat on the sub with all the fixings, and of course, I complemented it with plain Middleswarth chips. Being from Pennsylvania, you have to eat it with Middleswarth chips! My mouth was drooling looking at the sub, even though the roll itself felt very hard. With the first bite, I went right down memory lane, sitting in my grandfather's green Ford Ranger. I scarfed it down, but well... I was disappointed. The bread was so hard that it almost scratched the roof of my mouth. The cheese was just bland, not bursting with flavor, and the salami and pepperoni slices had no flavoring to them at all. I think the only thing that saved it was the hot peppers that I added. To make matters worse, I also noticed the bathrooms were dirty, which is never a good sign. I also felt very slow and sluggish afterward. I don't think food is supposed to do that; food is supposed to give you energy, not slow you down. I do not recommend this place for a sub at all. I'd rather get one from a pizza shop or even Sheetz--and I think all Sheetz food tastes like cardboard, but that's just me. I hope my review helps you decide where to get your sub next!

New me, new experience. like not a single cell from back then made the trip with me. We pull up, deal with Harrisburg parking (a whole separate scam I won't get into today), and walk into this little hole-in-the-wall lunch spot that closes at 2. That alone explains why it's been over a decade. But the second you step inside, it hits you this place has an aura. Straight New York-Philly energy. Metro signs everywhere, burger memorabilia, cheesesteak philosophy on the walls, Italian pride, city pride, just buku love, buku vibes. You order in a separate little room that feels like a classic bodega. Glass cooler with lunch meats, tiny soda setup, 50-cent refills, vanilla and cherry add-ons if you're feeling fancy. Cash only. No exceptions. We actually had to leave and hit an ATM because my roommate forgot. That's the kind of place this is. Feels like there's no internet in there. Like they might still be running a ham radio in the back. The guys working there? Straight 1970s New York swagger. You can tell this place has not changed since the day it opened, and that's exactly the point. And the wait, yeah, you're waiting. 20 minutes easy. But that's part of it. That's Staves of all the instant gratification and doom scrolling. It sets you back to a forgotten time. Then the burger comes out. This ain't no smash burger. This ain't no little quarter-pound situation. This is a big, meaty, juicy, chewy, greasy, gooey pound of flesh. And yeah, keep all of that. I'm staring at it for 30 seconds, salivating, practically full just looking at it. I finally put the bun on and go at it jerking my head around like a dog playing tug of war (making the most carnivorous, bestial sounds) I got the Jackson burger, lettuce, tomato, J-sauce. I need my J-sauce. And it hits and for a brief moment there is no worry in the world. This isn't a place you go every week unless you're trying to test your mortality. But when you go, you go all the way: 22-ounce Coca-Cola, burger, fries. No half measures. And the crowd? Office guys in suits on their lunch break. Capitol crowd. That's the vibe. I'm never in that world, so stepping into it felt like being dropped into a different city entirely--honestly felt like a Manhattan Lunch Break. The burger itself? Timeless. Not chasing trends, not trying to be Shake Shack, not Five Guys. This is some old-school, 1950s, Back to the Future-type energy. I half expected Marty McFly and Doc to walk in, get em one. Only surprise? No shakes. Feels like they should have shakes. They don't do fries with that shake. Now the one knock: the fries. Flavor? Perfection, hand cut boardwalk style fries. But I got a lot of little end pieces, now that's straight up disrespectful to me, how you gonna treat me like that?. I don't want to dig through little nubs to find actual fries. That's where I gotta be honest, dock a point. Overall though? Food: elite Experience: unmatched Vibe: 5/5 Conclusion - 4/5 (fix those bum-ass fries.)

It was one day about 3 months ago, my wife and me had a hankering for a really good cheese steak sub. We punched in the request in our GPS and several places displayed upon the screen. After a quick check on reviews of the various locations, we settled on South Philly Hogies. Although the trip was 18 minutes away at 23 miles, off we went to try this establishment. We both ordered the California Cheese Steak and fries. We drove home and I can tell you by far this was the best Cheese Steak we had ever eaten. The bread it is served on is so soft and fresh and they have no issues with making it your way. I would be remiss if I didn't make mention that the staff are always nice and friendly. The quality and quantity that you get with your order almost seems impossible these days. We were so pleased that every time a family visits us here in PA, South Philly Hogies will always get a stop from us. We enjoyed every bite and discovered that we like it so much that as soon as we receive our food, we travel to the shopping mall and eat on the lot. We never make it home now with our food. All you hear in the car is lips smacking and people saying "um, um , um" I must also report that they are truly wonderful with regard to prices. I have paid upwards of almost $30.00 for the food we ordered from other establishments and the food was not that great at all. Not wishing to see price increased at this location but I would gladly pay a little more because they are that good. Thank you guys for doing such a great job with your service and your food. This is probably the reason most entertainers and people of fame who come from Harrisburg move away and don't say they are from there But anyway... Me, having Philly family and being a Philly fan of everything, especially those Eagles (don't stop reading because of that!), I had a chance to get a cheesesteak from South Philly Hoagie, and let me tell you, I was impressed. The bread makes everything, and then of course the meat. I ordered mine with mayonnaise, cheese whiz, and of course, mushrooms. Now, I did order it through the Uber Eats app, and I wish I could've added provolone, but I never had to add pizza sauce to my cheesesteak until today. I'm glad I did! It made it pop, even though it was missing that provolone. One thing I do wish is that they would actually take the bread and get some of that steak juice right on the bun. Other than that, I'm not mad at it. Of course, it's not Philly. It didn't bounce me right back to the hometown of Will Smith, and it didn't have me saying "I'M A WORK OF ART." However, I was pleased and satisfied. Maybe the flavoring can hold me over until my next pay next week so I can take a train down to Philly. The French fries were amazing, if I must say. The sub was plenty full and had plenty of meat on it. If you asked me, "Would I buy this again?" Yes, I definitely would! And I would do it over-the-counter so I can have it my way, like Burger King!
