The pizza was good & the slices are huge. I loved the murals of city landmarks. The only inconvenience is that you need a key card to get to the hallway that leads to the restrooms & there is only 1 card. It is in a building with other businesses or apartments. Really leaning towards 5 stars here as this is my new close-to-home favorite, but 4 until I give this place one or two more tries to make the spicy chicken sub the way I want it and also try a cheesesteak. Pizza has been outstanding every time. I really enjoy the plain cheese and buffalo chicken pizzas. Will try others in the future. My adventures with GrubHub delivery orders continues. This one was a disappointment. Not only did it take quite a while for them to get my food delivered to me, but the delivery driver called me and outright refused to bring the food up to the delivery location, which is on the 8th floor of my building. So far I have had no other business delivery drivers refused to do so, he insisted I meet him in the lobby. Normally I suppose this would not be an unreasonable request, but I order delivery because I am the person who answers the phone and I need to stay at my desk. A quick trip up the elevator would have taken care of this issue. Not only did my food arrived late, but it was cold. The pizza was almost flavorless, Wythe bland sauce and gummy cheese and this was a very rare occasion where I did not finish my pizza. The cheese sticks where cold and clearly came out of a freezer bag. This place was an all-around disappointment, and I will not be ordering again. read more

I've eaten at what is now Two Brothers Pizzeria many times over the years. It's a fine spot for a quick New York Style slice. Recently I've been favoring Ciervo's Pizza which is right down the street. Today we decided to pit the two against each other in a head to head calazone taste test. We ordered as close to the same kind of calazone from each place as we could and the picture speaks for itself. Ciervo's calazone cost $1.59 more but had more filling, better flavor, and looks twice as delicious. Two Brothers might have more comfortable booth seating but they need to step up their calazone game if they want to beat Ciervo's. read more

Found myself in this part of Harrisburg looking for a place to grab a bite and take a break from the drive home from Westmoreland County, Pa. When the preferred Vietnamese joint was closed on Sunday, I looked across the street and saw Brothers Pizzeria open for biz. It wouldn't have the soup I was hankering for, but what the pho? Necessity may be the mother of invention, but hunger drives you to places you would not otherwise frequent. So it was this day. Fortunately, this oasis turned out to be a very pleasant diversion. It was bright and clean, and had a menu to still the savage beast growling within. I ordered their Chicken Cheesesteak Hoagie and sat at a booth to await its completion. No table service, I returned to the counter to pay, pick up and return to my table. No problem. The guys behind the counter were friendly and humorous. My sandwich was very good. The standout feature was the fresh roll in which the meal was enclosed. It was clearly different that the standard Italian torpedo, in that it was not creased on top, but was smooth and darker tan. The texture was coarser than expected, and the taste more grainy. It was excellent, and may have been their own creation. It held up strongly despite the weight and moisture within, and it was an easy lift, squeeze and bite, with little loss out the back door. It was a superior cheesesteak. While it is doubtful I will be back in this part of Harrisburg anytime soon (unless I am looking for pho again), but I would not hesitate to return to Brothers should the VN joint be closed other days of the week. read more

New owners, pizza is still terrible. I think it might actually be worse. They're only luck at getting business is from young dumb college students walking out from class. The stromboli was pretty good however, if you are an Italian eatery and you say "sausage" that means Italian sausage. The stromboli had Polish Kielbasa for sausage. I was disappointed. Otherwise, it was a good item, and the bread was awesome. The cheeseburger sub had two thin, burnt burgers, so please don't overcook! Decent pizza and subs shop in Midtown Harrisburg. Service is quick and the restaurant was clean. Overall, the pizza was okay, but nothing spectacular. I personally like Ciervos pizza, which is a block away better, but other Yelpers seem to like Brother Pizza better. Brother's is one of our neighborhood pizzerias. They're set in an ideal location across the street from HACC Midtown, and they do a booming lunch business. The portions are generous, and they have affordable prices and specials offered. I'm not a big fan of their pizza at all. I think it's undercooked and bland. Their salads are huge, but I don't care for the chicken they use in them. Service is friendly, and the dining area is nice. read more

We've visited Brothers three times since moving to Harrisburg. This will be a regular quick lunch or dinner spot for us. PRO: It's easy to find parking on the street. The place is clean and the service is great. The food is really good and there is a lot of variety. The bread and rolls are fantastic, dense, chewy, flavorful. The big subs are made with good meat and cheese, with fresh chopped romaine (I don't care for iceberg lettuce). I think the portions are huge. The side salad came out on a dinner plate, and was loaded with romaine, tomatoes, croutons, and cheese. My son enjoys the pizza. CON: Absolutely cannot recommend the spaghetti. Yuck. The sauce was odd-smelling tomato water with a lot of grease floating on top, no discernible seasonings/garlic/herbs in it. It looked and smelled like dishwater when you're cleaning a lasagna pan. The gray meatballs had a weird aftertaste. The one time we ordered calamari, it was fried until dark brown and hard. read more

Overall: great food, great prices but don't go alone at night. Pros: the food is delicious!! I ordered a veggie wrap that was made super fast and came with the most delicious side of fries (seriously though, order the fries). The menu choices are the largest I've ever seen at a pizzeria (13 menus) and the guys are super friendly. There isn't a bathroom in the place but if you exit out the back end of the store, it places you in a business building where there's a restroom. Another plus is that it's fairly close to the midtown bookstore! Great store that sells used and new books for the reader in you. Cons: it isn't the best place for a person from the suburbs to go late at night; you feel a bit on edge, but everything was fine for us. Everyone that walked in was in pairs, or dropped off by someone waiting in a car right outside. So this told me that you definitely need someone to walk/drive with you at night in this part of town. If you want to feel 100% safe, just don't go when it gets dark. read more

Brothers just opened a new location here. It's located in the new building across from Midtown HACC. Great Pizza and Sandwiches. No delivery so it will be a local place. We have yet to see it busy. Guiseppe ( Joe) is the owner, this is the 20th or so Brothers Restuarant he's opened ( Per the Paper Clipping and Photo ) Joe told me that he likes to work in the new locations so the quality standard is set high. Hope he is here for a while. Ciervo's is right down the street and they are good, but Brothers is better and it is more comfortable to eat in. read more

Could have been a 4 star rating for the pizza...however when the order is for banana peppers as a topping and jalapeño peppers are substituted because they ran out of banana peppers without conveying that information (as explained when I called back) and you do not realize this until you get home, it's a disappointment. Ordered Delivery Cheese pizzas and some garlic knots. The garlic knots were burnt, tasteless, and dry no buttery garlicness too them. The bottom of both my pizzas was burnt and it lacked some flavor which could be a result of the burnt bottom. However I am very happy this place delivers. read more

Went in order two meals and a side order of fries for my nephew .. came up to about 25 not a problem she took our money then she hands me a steak panini that wasn't bad but after the lady took our order she hands me one plate and asked if i needed anything else .. completely forgot the rest of my order which took another 10 to 15 min which is crazy for frozen chicken fingers and yet again forgot the second order of fries by that point I was so angry I didn't even mention it the food wasn't bad but the customer service level is McDonald's grade at best !! read more

They have a very extensive menu, so take your time to review. We had the veggie slice, cheese slice, cheeseburger sub, & fries. Prices were reasonable. The pizza was really good. The veggie slice was very tasty with lots of garlic. The cheeseburger sub was awesome and super filling. The fries were ok. It is very clean and the service was good. It's clean and visually appealing. Mixed feelings on the food. The pizza is just okay. I'd recommend going to Ciervo's (2 blocks toward the river on Reily) instead for that.
