We have been using Two Girls for from Carmel for at least 15 years to take care of our Carmel home. We rent the house to guests and also host large family events. Cleaning it is a big job and different each time. Nikki and her fabulous crew have been endlessly flexible and willing to go the extra mile. The crew are so hard working! We love how the house sparkles after they have been there! If there is more time they are happy to take on extra tasks as needed. They are very easy to work with and respond quickly. I can not say enough good things about this company. Was referred to them by a neighbor and so happy that I did. Jessica and her team are incredible. They always do a professional job, responsive, caring like it is their home, and trustworthy. They do regular cleanings for a rental property and one time I was in a jam... new roof was being installed and I had guests also staying. The roofing company made a mess inside and didn't clean up so I called Two Girls from Carmel in a panic and they were able to sent someone within an hour of me calling, cleaned like it was brand new and was priced the same as a regular cleaning, even for an emergency... they are worth their weight in gold if not more and I am thrilled to write them an amazing review and encourage everyone to use them. The personal care and attention to detail is highly skilled and experienced. This firm hires qualified industry professionals. Like an artisan, each nook and cranny was cleaned to a high standard of "spring cleaning" freshness by our cleaning woman. With allergies, we now breath easier and the air in our home is healthier, because of the extra attention. We had a clean house going in and were just astonished at how much scrubbing and rinsing went into this thorough cleaning. The first cleaning is more time and it's well worth it. You will be amazed. Again with allergies, what was so noticable is there was no strong cleaning smell entering the house after. A few stronger products were used in certain areas, although an overall non harsh cleansers is the idea. With rinsing and extra care, it is all gone and the house is clean and no leftover residue and odor. The extra touches are everywhere. read more

In my opinion this service should be named TWO THIEF(S) FROM CARMEL * promised two cleaners/4 hrs - sent one NON-english speaking (I wonder what she was paid) * NO furniture moved or cleaned underneath * NOTHING DUSTED * spent the 4 hrs to clean 2 bathrooms, swept living room floor and cleaned kitchen. Don't bother. Gave very simple instructions--clean bathrooms & sweep/vacuum/dust house. I would take care of the rest of the house myself. Easy, right? 1st person stole some of my cleaning products & broke wine glass. I complained and Mgmt. knew nothing about it; apologized and credited my acct. Good. Gave them another try. (FYI, I have a RING System w/camera on front door.) Another lady arrived to clean while we were at the house as I was sweeping front. I asked her if she could come back next week. Said she would try & had to call the office. Then told me she needed a vacuum & mop. I told her we had a vacuum & nothing needs mopping--bathroom floors I wash w/sponge & pinesol/water. Then she went on about sweeping front porch, washing front windows, cleaning cobwebs in garage. I did not ask for this service, and my RING Log did not record anyone in front sweeping or washing windows. This company will stretch out the time so they can charge more. I fired them after 6 weeks. I don't normally take the time to review businesses on yelp, or anywhere else, but these ladies were absolutely AMAZING!!! I've had several experiences with housekeepers that were "less than acceptable" to say the least. I had about given up trying to find someone, but my beautiful girlfriend convinced me to give "Two Girls" a try... SO GLAD I DID:-) First, they answered the phone quickly were both friendly and professional. When I asked when their next availability was, I was told they could be at my home in about 30 minutes! (I had to wait 2 weeks to get someone out from the last company I used).) They showed up on time and finished on time, and even though my house hadn't had a good cleaning in almost 2 months. MOST IMPORTANTLY... They did an outstanding job, even by my standards which are, admittedly, pretty high. read more

I love their business model. I can schedule a cleaner on the days I need someone, for as many or few hours that I need. I often ask for the same cleaner who is fast and thorough. The cleaners are bonded and vetted. They take care of any taxes or social security due. (These cleaners should have the same benefits as the rest of us.) read more

I'm truly not sure about the complaints. Just talked to Anna about something and she's as nice and efficient as ever. The service provided certainly does not include doing any outside work and it's something one usually hires other type of companies to do. That's ridiculous that one person writing a review was disappointed in because Two Girls from Carmel didn't employee people to do things like outside windows and balconies. Really???? That's just odd. Norma does a wonderful job, will always do extra things if asked and though something else may not get done within the time she's here, she does it the following week. After searching for a cleaning company that was eco friendly for some time, I was pleased to discover 2 Girls from Carmel on Yelp with positive reviews. I am pregnant and finding a green company is very important to my family and our health. They scheduled my first appointment and walk through within a reasonable time frame and eased my concerns about using harsh chemicals by saying they would use my own cleaning products, however didn't mention until the walk through I had to also provide all the cleaning equipment, like a broom, vacuum, mop, towels, ect (or pay an extra $10/hr fee). The lady I spoke with said that she and the cleaner would come together for the walk through the morning of the cleaning. When they showed up at my house, they weren't here more than 5 minutes before they stormed out. The owner was extremely rude and hurtful to me about my concerns with having a language barrier between myself and the cleaner. She stated that cleaning wasn't rocket science and we didn't need to be able to communicate for her to clean. I understood where she was coming from but in my opinion, I do need to be able to communicate with the person coming to clean my house to tell her what needs to be done on a weekly basis. With a new baby on the way and cleaning tasks changing weekly, being able to communicate with people in my home is very important. Then what happened next shocked me..she used an extremely derogatory remark and stormed out of my house with little to no explanation as to why she was acting so unkind to me when I was expressing my concerns. I called the company to try to understand what had just taken place and get an explanation for her name calling and rudeness. I left a message with my understanding of what had happened and no one has called me back to explain or apologize. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I wish I could write a review on the cleaning experience because other reviews rate this company highly but unfortunately, we didn't get that far. read more

I've just recently fired them. Again without email Anna, the Manager, attempted to contact me by phone, a phone I do not carry around when I'm home. So with a new security system installed their housekeeper kept triggering the alarm and had no way to contact me to disarm it remotely. After the third false alarm, she quit and when she quit, I fired TGFC because they failed to work with me while working out the security kinks. I would not use them for a vacation spot that is used only occasionally. They are fine for primary or only home however. read more

Trying to clean someone elses apartment or home is a very difficult job. Some clients are very difficult others pretty easy going. Having said this we try not to hold people to standards that we ourselves cannot reach. They did a great job cleaning our apartment. Showed up on time and were careful. Awful! They charged $350 to not clean my house. Kitchen counter when wiped was dirty, toilets gross with hair and dirt, bathroom sinks dirty, shower door tracks and drain filthy with body hair....the list goes on and on. $350 to not clean my house. It's a 3/2 1620 sq ft house that was completely empty (just purchased) and has hardwood floors throughout (no carpeting, etc). The main focus was cleaning floors, bathrooms and the kitchen. All the things that were filthy. Once I saw their completed job, I photographed it and contacted Anna. Anna did not want to see any of the photos or make any reasonable effort to resolve the situation. Instead, Anna told me she would talk to the owner and call me back. She called me back very promptly to tell me I was SOL, and not only that, but that they should have charged me MORE! They had done a walk through prior and were instructed what to clean. Yet they did not actually clean... I have no idea what they did while they where there but the results speak for themselves. I truly cannot believe that they would completely rip me off. read more

My husband is pretty OCD about cleaning and was hesitant at first to hire anyone to do the cleaning because he thought they couldn't meet his standards, but he was pretty surprised to see they exceeded even his expectations.
