    Dirty Fries

I have a weakness (or a guilty pleasure) for Korean corn dogs... even though I always feel a little gross after eating one (or more than one haha). This place definitely hits the spot when the craving strikes. I tried the Two Hands, Spicy, and Potato coatings and honestly enjoyed all of them; crispy, satisfying, and exactly what you expect from a Korean corn dog. I also ordered the Dirty Fries, which were alright. I feel like the Kimchi Fries might've been the better choice, so I'll try those next time. The milk tea with boba was decent and a nice pairing with the food. Overall, I'd recommend this spot if you're ever in the mood for Korean corn dogs.

We ordered the classic and the potato corn dog with Cheeto dust, and the flavor combinations were pretty good. One big tip: these are meant to be eaten immediately. My husband and I thought we could grab them to-go and enjoy them later, but we realized they're best enjoyed fresh and hot. By the time we ate them, they were still good, but not quite as crispy as they should've been. Reheating them in the air fryer didn't bring back that original crispiness, though the flavors still held up nicely. Even with that, it was still a good experience overall, and I'd love to give this place another shot!

The corn dog was great as always. I tried the dirty fries- I would like to say they have a sweet aftertaste that is easy to get tired of. The lemonade slush was also just meh. It was a fine experience.

TWO HANDS @ MIRA MESA Parking is available right out front since it's located in a plaza, which makes it super convenient. I was really excited to try Two Hands after seeing so many great reviews online. Stepping inside, I immediately loved the bright lights around the counter, it gave the place such a fun vibe. The menu was very clear and easy to read, and the space itself was surprisingly roomy. On the left side, there's a self-ordering kiosk, but you can also order directly from the staff if you prefer. I decided to try their potato corn dog with half mozzarella and half hot dog. It already came topped with sauce, garlic seasoning, and Hot Cheeto dust. I thought that was interesting since most Korean corn dog places let you add your own toppings at the end, but here they pre-select what they think works best. My corn dog was about $6.50, and my friends ordered the same one but with just sausage. It's worth noting that they charge an extra dollar if you substitute anything from their original half-and-half option, so getting all mozzarella or all hot dog costs more. Personally, I thought that was a bit of a rip-off, especially since $7 is already on the pricier side for a Korean corn dog. Our food came out within a few minutes, which was nice. Taste-wise, it was decent but not amazing. The texture was a little soggy, and the cheese wasn't as melty as I expected. The garlic powder flavor was way too strong for me, and I had to cover it up with ketchup. On the positive side, the sausage itself was firm and flavorful definitely the best part.

    Original and potato cheese dog

These are best Korean dogs and am happy to have them in Mira Mesa (my last location closed). Delicious topping and cooked perfectly!

Delicious all mozarella with sugar on top, ketchup & mustard. The kimchi fries are doable. Staff is nice. Seating inside and few outside. Large parking lot

I don't usually like corn dogs but the cheese dogs with the crispy coating were sooo good. The two hands had a good ranch sauce too too and were a great snack. Quick service and some seating inside. The spicy sauce isn't half bad either.

The best! You need to get it with the kimchi fries & horchata slush

Always a hit! I've tried the spicy, the potato, the classic, crispy rice, & injeolmi. My favorites are the spicy, crispy rice, & injeolmi. Next time I'll definitely have to try the two hands one, I mean it's named after it so it has to be good. You've got to have a side of the kimchi fries, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I couldn't stop myself from eating another one! The horchata slush is amazing too. It gives a nice sweetness to their savory corn dogs, serving the perfect balance. Literally the perfect spot for a quick bite that'll fill you up fast. I love that you can choose a filling, I usually get half sausage & half mozzarella. Or ALL mozzarella if you're a freak for cheese. The workers are always nice & the place is usually clean. I love that they offer both indoor & outdoor seating.

Spent some time with my cousin and his family last weekend and they are HUGE fans of Two Hands!! So of course we had to swing by after our day at the park. I got the Two Hands signature dog with mozzarella inside and they got their usuals. I just have to say the cheese pull is AMAZING. The temp is perfect, the crispiness is amazing. 10/10 I will be back again 1000% and I cannot wait until my next trip!!

Driving through Mira Mesa when I caught a glimpse. Have to be in the parking lot see it. Right across from Grocery Outlet. I kept is simple going with the American Classic half cheese, top part, half dog, bottom, not mixed. First time I have seen that option. Kiosk ordering to the left but I went to the counter as a first timer. I will be back.

potato dog half sausage half mozzarella filling

We got the potato dog with half sausage and half mozzarella filling! The inside of the store is super chill, clean, with nice music playing, and a couple of seating options. We ordered through the cashier, but there's a kiosk in case you don't want to interact w/ anybody LOL.

Two Hands is a small restaurant next to the old Souplantation. It has limited indoor and outdoor seating but it wasn't too busy when we went for lunch. You can order either at the kiosk or in person. One thing to note: the signature set is actually more expensive than ordering the three hot dogs unless you change the filling inside. Anyways we ordered the combo set which says you can do any drink, but boba will cost you a little extra. - Two Hands Dog: 3/5 - Spicy Dog: 4/5 - Potato Dog: 4/5 - Dirty Fries: 4/5 - Pineapple Slush: 4/5 - Strawberry Yogurt Boba: 2/5

Came in for a quick snack and omg I am soooo happy we did my husband and I shared the potato, hot Cheeto and classic one. The hot Cheeto one with the spicy sauce was my absolute favorite. Sooooo darn good, they make them fresh. Employees were friendly, and quick. I can't recommend enough and will be back again. They are located in a huge lot and have plenty of parking.

So, I can't express how much it meant to me to see a plant based option on this menu when I passed by at the OB Farmers market. AND it was cheaper than the regular options!! Only $5! I thought maybe it was a mistake or outdated but when they rang me up, it really was only $5- for something just as loaded as the regular version. I'm used to seeing vegan options being the more expensive option, so this was really appreciated. The veggie dogs were great. If I could get this again, I'd probably skip the chorizo or ask for half as much because it was pretty salty. They definitely leave some seeds in the jalapeños so skip that if you can't handle heat. It comes sauces that are mayo based (except for the mustard and ketchup), so leaving those off will yield you a vegan friendly dog. Thank you Gus Doggos.

Yet, it stands out as one of my favorites, and I find myself ordering from them frequently. One of the things you will notice as soon as you approach the place is how clean and net their food truck is. Their menu features burgers, corn dogs, fries, and more, all with a twist and a variety of flavorful options. Among my personal favorites are the Goblin's Club and Jalapeno Popper Corn Dog. The corn dogs are notably large, with a batter that's never oily, always maintaining a tender and flavorful quality. The Animal fries, a perfect side to burgers and corn dogs, are never overly salty, and the generous portions of golden, perfectly cooked fries are a must-try. The Classic Burger and The Jesse Burger are standout choices, boasting substantial sizes with soft and fluffy buns. The sauces and flavors elevate them above your typical burgers - vegan or not. What sets Underdog apart is not just their delicious offerings but also the friendly and accommodating team behind the scenes. They are pleasant individuals dedicated to their advocacy of normalizing delicious plant-based food. I like that they came out at just the right temperature too (vs other places are super hot and you need to take time to cool before eating). The only thing I was sad about was I got a full sausage this time, thinking it would be the regular size... but my partner's half mozz half sausage was much larger. I guess the size of sausage doesn't change - they just add mozz to the top for the half and half. I felt a bit shortchanged due to that (minus one star). Place is small but clean, and they've structured it in a way where there's still plenty of small tables around. We had a table easily, and the food and drinks (via Urban Bubbles, operating out of the same kitchen) came out fairly quickly. Parking is definitely hard. It's a tiny lot and paid parking. I remember trying Sonoran-style hot dogs while visiting a friend in Tucson, AZ several years ago…read more After seeing Ochidoggy show up on the activity feed for my connections, I decided to visit this pop-up vendor in the southern part of the Normal Heights neighborhood. The setup was a simple cart under a canopy in a random parking lot on El Cajon Blvd. A few picnic tables with overhead cover were available if you wanted to eat your food on-site. Five different hot dogs along with french fries and a stuffed jalapeno pepper were offered on the menu. A typical Sonoran hot dog has a bacon-wrapped frank topped with pinto beans, onions, tomatoes, and other condiments. It's served on a bolillo bun. The Hot Dog Regular here contained bacon, grilled onion, red onion, tomato, and mayonnaise on a football-shaped bun which made it the closest resemblance to an original Sonoran. I chose two other varieties for my to-go order, a Hot Dog Jumbo and a Hot Dog Chilidogo. The first one had the same ingredients as the Regular with ham and American cheese added. The second one also had the same ingredients as the Regular, however the bacon-wrapped frank was stuffed inside a California pepper with grilled mozzarella cheese on top. Trays of condiments were arranged in front of the cart so you could select additional toppings. Four different sauce bottles were also available for more flavor. As you can see from my photo, both hot dogs were buried under the other components. The right type of bun was used which was very soft. I did feel that a gratuitous amount of mayonnaise was drizzled on top. I didn't add more toppings or sauces because there was already a sufficient spread. I am unsure if there are other businesses in the SD area that serve Sonoran-style hot dogs as I have not actively searched for them. I can say that the products I tasted from Ochidoggy were good enough for a four star rating.
