The prices for my storage unit were going up ... again. I'm a senior. money that goes out doesn't come back in. I needed to stop procrastinating and get out of that unit fast. Freeing myself of as many worries as possible is important. My daughter and I called Two Men and a Truck Moving. The person we talked with was very helpful. We were able to schedule a move very quickly and did not have to compromise my personal time line. So two days before I'm due in the hospital I had a confirmed moving date. Our movers were Anthony L and Quide W. Both absolutely excellent. They were right on time. They were efficient and so very respectful of my property. Even better in this day and age of accepted incivility they were respectful, congenial and very polite to my daughter and I. What could have been traumatic went smoothly and so very pleasantly. Those two young men are gems. I am so very glad we went with Two Men and a Truck Moving. I will do it again should the need arise. It was an A+++++++++ for us!!! read more

Dont let the name fool you, the men who handled my things are NOT the kind of people you should trust with yours! Broken furniture and missing belongings. Unprofessional careless staff, very overpriced and very negligent. *See pictures and read all the way through... I hired 2 men for an interstate move less than 400 miles. I trusted my experience would be positive bc of their well known name and google reviews. I was wrong! They charged me $6,000 for less than 900sqft. The movers (Ronny and his 2 helpers who never introduced themselves) were very unorganized and unprofessional. Arguing with eachother in front of us, standing around smoking cigarettes, or standing around not knowing what to do. They broke my daughters bed while taking it apart (see pictures). At delivery they tried to glue it back together and failed miserably. Many of my belongings are missing and no where to be found. The office claimed that our missing items must've been left at the pickup site, but I did a complete walkthrough with my old landlord the same day as pickup and the entire apartment was empty. I have had NO choice but to get law enforcement involved. After they were paid it was impossible getting in touch with them. I was finally able to speak to the claims person and file a claim for the damaged bed and missing items. ****1 week later and I'm told they will not even attempt to fix the bed they broke or compensate me for the damage despite taking my extra money for "insurance"****** See photo of email response. The bed was 100% structurally sound and not missing anything. I furnished a lost of my furniture before i hired them and I was never advised that type of bed is not covered. They've left me waiting a week with my little girl sleeping on a broken bed. Unacceptable! I would never reccomend them after this experience! read more

My friend needed movers and I called Two Men and a Truck for her. I spoke with Xina who was very friendly and helpful! She took all the information and gave me a very fair estimate. They were able to do the move two days later which was fantastic! On June 20, 2024 the truck showed up right on time with four men who introduced themselves upon arrival. They were four hard working, respectful, kind men! They worked so hard and were extremely professional. This day the temperature was humid and in the high 90's!!!!! They did a great job wrapping the furniture and carefully moving it. They worked very well as a team and were so grateful when I gave them some water and soda. It turned out that my friend had overestimated the amount of storage boxes she had to move from her garage to a storage unit in her new home, and Xina adjusted the price to reflect this. She paid less than expected which was a pleasant surprise! The pricing was very fair and the workers were excellent!!!!!! I highly recommend this moving company for your next move! read more

My recently refinished floors were damaged as they were careless. Hope it was not done purposely as I had to say something to the two guys about taking there sweet time. Take note they charge by the hour. I'm a 50 yr old lady and I could move faster than they did. I had about 9 pieces of furniture some small, some large, that's it, no boxes. The one guy took almost 2 hours to "wrap" 3 pieces of furniture. I kept on going to the room to see what he was doing. At time I would catch them on their cell with private calls in another language. I did receive a call from customer service but am very doubtful, they will remedy the damage to my hardwood floors. Until it's not fixed, I won't believe it. read more

Called for an estimate and even though their website said "in house estimates", they do not do that and give you a estimated price without even knowing what you have. Arranged a video conference and they never called. They did me a favor by not calling me. read more

Are the worst moving company I ever used. They broke my stuff. Didn't cover things that were supposed to be covered. Could not have a truck big enough to finish the job. Charged me for almost 2 jobs. Was talking to the company when they charged a credit card that wasn't supposed to be charged in my sister's name it was only to hold reservation. I worked with Kendrick and Patrick out of Two Men and a Truck's Elmsford location. These guys were absolutely fantastic. They were professional, friendly, easy to talk to, and handled all our items with care. They were thorough in making sure they didn't miss anything, or take the wrong items, and were very positive, patient people to work with throughout what could have been a stressful and emotional day. They also moved us out of state from point A to point B in less than 48 hours, which was very impressive. I highly recommend these guys and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. read more

As I always say it's best to move yourself. Unfortunately I didn't go with my advice. I've moved with movers twice and for the second time I found I had damage and stolen stuff after the move was over. It was even worse this time. The movers were not careful with the items and were slower than need be. Even though things were wrapped and I was moving just next door several things were broken, scraped, torn, chipped, and scratched. Some things were also taken. No wonder they insist you get insurance even though they will not pay you more than $500.00. And to top it off the idiots left their hand cart in the apartment and still haven't come to get it. I should have never used such a cheap company and instead used the one my father used when he moved. Do not use this company if you care about your stuff. As they say you get what you pay for.
