Update! I moved my stuff from storage to my new house. As we pulled stuff out of the unit I could see how they were able to pack my stuff in so tight. Everything was squashed into the unit, boxes pushed against cabinets which in turn broke knobs off and caused damage to my brand new hat tree/ cabinet. I had a lot of damages done to furniture, lamps, jewelry cabinet etc. The amount of plastic wrap was over kill and they charged for every last piece of it and tape. It took us longer to get my stuff Un taped and unwrapped than it did to unpack all of my stuff. I contacted them about all of my damaged items and I was told they don't cover any damages for stuff that went to a storage unit first. That's BS! The charges I incurred from this company were outrageous, they could have moved my stuff from my house into the storage unit in about 5 hours but it took about 8 1/2-9 hours because of the discussions, putting my stuff into groups, wrapping everything in plastic including a bag I had totes and reusable bags in, my 3 lamp shades, plastic totes, my couch etc. I was also charged for a wardrobe box that I didn't even use. Movers who care? How about movers who don't care? Learn from my mistake and seek other movers. I hired this Two Men and a Truck and they completely ruined a $2500 TV, the glass TV stand, and also damaged a $280 rower. I have photos showing this damage INSIDE THEIR TRUCK. I filed claims with them and they say they will give me $25 for the $2500 TV. First of all, insurance was never explained or offered to me. Next, no insurance form stipulations should cover up negligence and incompetence of the movers. THEY strapped the TV to a wall of the truck, the strap came loose while they were driving and it broke the TV. Secondly, the TV had a glass base and they had the TV sitting on the hard wood floor of the truck. Of course glass will break when sitting on hard wood in a moving vehicle! Thirdly, my photos show they had plenty of padding nearby they opted to not use. This was complete negligence and incompetence, not an understandable moving mistake. The insurance nonsense (60 cents a pound?) should not cover up negligence. No rational, fair person would believe $25 is sufficient compensation for a $2500 TV. Yesterday , I had an appointment with this company to move me to another home . The 2 men came in complaining that I had too much furniture ( LIKE THEY WERE GOING TO WORK FREE), ,then the complaining started about they could not get to the bed. IMy 2 housekeepers and myself explained that I had my boxes packed and ready to go to the truck first because I had fragile and breakable items in the boxes. Anyone who knows about packing should know to protect the breakable items first, not put them in the truck last. The 2 men had their manager to call me and completely left my home while I was on the phone with their manager. I have patio furniture on my patio and nothing was blocking the patio furniture. I called the manager back and they refused to return my $500+ dollars and did absolutely NOTHING (NO WORK AT ALL) !!! Why didn't they take the patio furniture to the other house ? Very friendly, courteous and professional. Our furniture was handled with care. They worked fast and efficient and wasted no time. The team lead was very professional and answered all of our questions. I'd like to get the same team for our move from the storage facility down to the assisted living place my mother is going to. She's living with us temporarily until her unit is available. Nothing but praise for these guys. X Very immoral and corrupted location. They have employees that are corrupted from the employees to the operations management which will refuse to fix their mistakes. If the employees feel that you are in breach of the contract such as not micro managing every second of the job they will purposely flaw their work regardless of guidance given. The operations manager deceived me into thinking that he would fix my issues for free but never allowed me to schedule the move and then started avoiding me defiling his staff to agree with him in changing his mind for no reason of business having the staff reciprocate back to me where they stand in his immoral decision. I suggest you get a company that can get done what you need without corrupting the name and reputation of the company. Worst moving experience of our lives. They scheduled an appointment for our move and we waited at the house for 5 hours and no one showed up or called to say why they weren't there we had to call multiple times to try and find out when they would be there and finally they rescheduled the appointment for the next day between 9-10 and then didn't show up until 12:00. They didn't have any of the packing materials we were charged for and claimed they didn't know they were supposed to pack anything. Had my husband sign something saying he would pay $20 for the materials they used to wrap our tv that was supposed to be part of the materials we paid for. Then they said they had nothing to wrap the glass items so they used a roll of Christmas wrapping paper we had in the closet . We had very little to move as we did most of it ourselves and it took them FOREVER to pack and load our stuff. They bill you by the hour and the employees move like a sloth then they try and charge you more because they took so long. One of the movers asked, will you be tipping us? I said, I don't think I have cash on me at this time and he said, most people stop by the ATM and get cash, I just wanted to throw that out there. It was the rudest thing I ever heard. I don't know if it is standard for the employees to solicit tips from people but I feel it's a rude practice. Then in the end they give you a piece of paper stating how much more money you are going to owe them , hundreds of dollars more money on top of what they charged you before they even show up. In my opinion you are better off calling a friend and getting your own truck and doing it yourself. I would never for any reason recommend this company to anyone. ***DEN OF THIEVES*** On 11/30/2023 I moved from Georgia to Alabama because of my job. The move went well, initially. Then, a few days later, I was offered a promotion at work and accepted the position that was in Atlanta, so I decided to move back. I made contact with my rental mgmt company and was able to renew my lease. I called Two Men and scheduled another move within the next six days and requested the same crew. Prior to my move date. I repacked my SUV with all of my personal and delicate belongings, I was unable to fit everything in my SUV that I wanted to personally transport, so I got four contractor garbage bags and affixed an 8X10 piece of paper to the outside of each bag. Two (2) of the bags were clearly labeled "COATS". When the moving crew arrived, I informed and showed the crew chief of the four bags that were to be placed on truck. The crew chief understood my request and assured me the bags would be placed on the truck. Because of time constraints, I had to drive back to Atlanta before the moving crew finished packing the truck in Alabama. I arrived back to Atlanta, and unpacked my SUV. When the moving truck finally arrived, I was in my kitchen reassembling my dining room table and when needed, pointed out where certain furniture items were to be placed. When I wasn't needed, I stayed out of their way. Days later as I unpacked, I became aware one of the contractor bags were missing containing five coats, (shearling and wool coats, totaling over $2,000) Of these coats, three were brand new and never worn. A few days later as I completely unpacked, I discovered a box labeled "WATCHES" that contained eleven Invicta watches, total value over $3,300 was also missing. The bag containing the coats never made it back to Atlanta and my watches somehow was removed from my residence while I was in the kitchen unpacking. There is a "weighing station" the moving truck must stop at to be weighed. That process seemed to add an addition 90 minutes to their commute time. It is my belief that either before, during or after the weighing process, property can be searched and removed without observation. I filed a police report and made contact with the transport manager, Mr. Vernon Blake on January 5, 2024 who stated he would look into the incident. Mr. Blake called me when he spoke with the moving crew that stated maybe the contractor bag was mistakenly thrown out. Not understanding why one out of four bag could have been discarded for trash, especially when I gave instructions "not" to forget the contractor bags. I can assume my watches were removed from my home office when I was in the kitchen and not keeping an eye on the entire crew. As of today, Sunday, January 21, 2024, I have not heard back from Two Men or Mr. Blake regarding this violation of trust and theft. What I learned from this experience and what I'd like to pass onto others, is to NOT label your boxes. Use colored coded labels that you only know what the contents of those boxes are. Do not make it easy for theives posing as legitimate workers. Also, if possible, aasign members of your family to eep an eye on each mover that you hire. I understand there are bad apples in every bunch, but what adds insult to injury is that I generously tipped each crew member, on each trip, before I became aware of the theft. So please be aware of moving companies stopping at a "weighing station". It's obvious I would never use nor recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone. I'd rather make 300 trips, back and forth in a mini-van moving my own stuff. read more

My recent move with Two Men and a Truck of Stockbridge, GA was a complete disaster. Our lives have been a complete nightmare since our move, and I'm in total disbelief. Here are the few that I would like to share with you: 1. Despite coordinating a site visit with the estimating team, the operational staff were unable to complete the scope of work as described in the estimate that we executed. We relocated both my contents, and my mother's contents (whose home was just a few houses down the street) and both homes were left with approximately 50% of their contents. Our homes are now left incomplete and spread between multiple properties. 2. Of the contents that were relocated by the staff, those contents experienced significant damages due to mishandling, including: - Washer platform dented - Dryer foot smashed (dryer was not placed on dolly and was dropped from the house to the driveway) - Scratches on (3) dressers - Hinges on antique dresser bent - Shelves of end table broken - Recliner power cable severed (the recliner was dragged across the driveway and the cable got caught below and severed between the metal base and gravel) - Scratches on (2) refrigerators Once those contents were offloaded and placed in the new homes, additional property damages were caused, including: - Drywall damage; holes, scruffs, etc. - Corner bead damage - Torn sheet vinyl flooring - Damaged door transition strips 3. The vehicles that were utilized for transport were infested with ants. Any boxes that were accompanied by our furniture are now overrun with ants, and in an effort to control the infestation, all of our contents had to be moved out of the properties to prevent their further spread. 4. They have fraudulently attempted to make an unauthorized charge on my card. 5. They violated my privacy by inviting unaffiliated staff with Two Men and A Truck to my property without consent. To date, the following unfavorable resolutions have been proposed by Two Men and a Truck: 1. Provide them with the full payment for an incomplete scope of work, and provide them with additional payment to complete the scope of work with the staff that mishandled our contents and displayed an incredible lack of professionalism. 2. Provide them with the full payment for an incomplete scope of work, and hire their staff "under the table" to complete the remaining scope of work for a reduced cost. At this point, based on the overall performance of the staff, it would not be advisable to welcome them back to our property, only to continue causing damage to the contents and homes. I have reported the damages to Two Men and a Truck, in accordance with their business policy (required to notify them within 96 hours of the move) and they have been entirely uncooperative. read more

I recently moved on January 8th, 2022. If you value your personal items do not use this company. The glass on my living room end table was completely shattered. Three out of four of my dining room chairs were scratched. My mattress was not wrapped in transportation which means it was exposed to the accumulated dust on the truck. Also my electric trash can top was taken off by the movers and not replaced. I was told to fill out a Damage report which is just a formality because regardless of how much property damage is done by the movers you will not be properly compensated. I paid $1,291.00 to move. When the damages occurred I was told by the movers that it would be taken care of by the company and that was not the case. My property was broken, scratched and left unwrapped and I was only offered a total of $40 in compensation which is insulting. After numerous attempts to reach someone at this location for a better resolution, I was informed I would have had to pay an additional $195.00 on top of $1,291.00 to cover any cost that my property incurred due to the workers. So basically I'm responsible for any damage done to my property due to the negligence of the workers. This is unacceptable, it was not fully explained to me that I was responsible for any damages that my property incurred due to their workers. Clearly my feedback and experience is not important to this branch of the company. The fact that I have to pay an additional $195.00 on top of the $1,291.00 (moving cost) to cover damages made by their workers is asinine. I have contacted the corporate office for a reasonable resolution but have yet to hear back. I hope someone finds this information helpful. read more

I have used this company previously and had a great experience, but with our last move in April it changed a little. We bought insurance in case of breakage because we have a lot of heavy valuable pieces. They did knock a corner off of a hutch on April 26th and we filed a claim soon after with Leon at the Stockbridge office. We waited a month and called and were informed that it takes time. I waited another month and called back and got the same dance. Month 3 I called and asked for a supervisor and got Dustin. He was very nice and I re-sent pictures and the claim form again. Once again we heard nothing and I called back and Leon said he would get Dustin to call. Obviously giving them money and getting something back are 2 entirely different things. I am finally giving up which I assume is the end game with these folks and I will never recommend them again. My experience with Two Men and a Truck - Stockbridge was HORRIBLE!!! Even after and video walk through and them coming to my former home to pack prior to the love date, they STILL only sent 3 movers and one truck. Combine that with the fact that the only furniture that needed to be moved was a table and four chairs, I thought this was going to be a fairly straightforward move that didn't take a long time. 10 hours later, I had to rent a Uhaul to help them move my stuff because of their lack of planning. After 21 years in the military and relocating a couple of times post Army, this was absolutely the best moving experience I've ever had. Alexandria in the office to Aron's team on the ground, everything went great on my move from Locust Grove to Lincolnton, GA. 1. I didn't have to wait for someone to show up and look at everything. Alex asked me a few questions and in a few minutes I had an emailed estimate. 2. I had a short time window as I was in a hotel. Alex scheduled the pick-up for the very next day. 3. The moving team came exactly at the prearranged time and were some of the nicest and respectful movers I've ever met. 4. The movers took good care of every item they touched. Everything was carefully wrapped and placed in the truck, not tossed. I have a piano that weighs more than allot of cars that I thought would be a problem-nope they carefully wrapped and handled it safely without a hiccup. 5. They transported the lode the same day and placed everything where we wanted it. 6. Wife started asking for thing to be arranged and rewrapping of the stuff but the team politely accomplished all of her requests. 7. I was terrified item 6 would cause the actual cost would take off like a rocket ship over the estimate. When I got the final bill it was actually $500. dollars less than the estimate! Who charges less than the estimate these days? When we looked at everything mover, we didn't find a single scratch on anything. If I could give this company/location a negative rating, I would. The movers lost two of my boxes, containing items totaling over $2,000 and after calling two men and a truck for almost a month they have told me "there is nothing we can do." The clothes that were delivered reek of cigarette smoke (I could tell one of the drivers was a heavy smoker because as a non-smoker I had to stifle my cough when he was standing next to me). My bed, the only piece of furniture they had to disassemble and assemble was put together incorrectly, screws were put in backwards (how is that even possible) and there are 3 gouges on the foot rail of my bed. These guys call me 4 days prior to my scheduled move date and ask to reshedule for the next day to I let them do since I had 3 days to get out of my home I just sold. Then call back 2 days later to confirm ORIGINAL move date. Original date will no longer work because they bumped my closing date one day which was the original move date. Of course I cant move and go to closing on the same day and they tell me it'll be a week before they can fit me in. Needless to say THAT wont work as I have 3 days to get out! First day truck was suppose to arrive between 8 and 8:30. At 10 I called and found out the truck broke down. And the replacement was 10 minutes out. At 11:45 they showed up came in and accessed the office. Went back out to move the truck closer and it wouldn't crank. Had to reschedule tow days later, the day we were to be out. Second day. Was suppose to arrive between 8:30 and 9. Arrived at 9:45. Started and at 2:30 almost finished and said they could take the cubicles when before it was no problem. Took a heated phone call to manager to get the job done. Several workers refused to wear a mask because they were "working". Then at the end they wanted me to sign paperwork and "he would fill out the rest later" which was only the final price. Seriously!!!!!!!!!!! I set up a moving date recently with this company and they showed up with a truck that was too small to move our furniture. We moved the first load on a Saturday and received our furniture at 9:30 pm. The second load arrived on the next Tuesday. We slept on mattresses on the floor for three days because the movers did not leave the bolts for the beds. They also lost one bolt. Our master headboard was dropped resulting in a hole the size of an egg right in the middle of the headboard. This company offered us $54.00 for the headboard and nothing more. I have also reach out to Heather the sales rep. she has been so wonderful to work with. I called the corporate office today for help but they just said that would follow up with the Stockbridge location. We are missing very important papers plus our keys to vehicles which was in a box that they must not have unloaded. Very disappointed in the customer service and the lack of care from the employees. We hired these movers to load a container to move my mother's furniture to Omaha. They showed total disregard for her things and every piece of furniture arrived damaged.Because they were only responsible for the load portion of the move, we had no recourse. We thought we were hiring professionals that would properly pack the container, but even I know not to stack wrought iron patio furniture and heavy boxes on top of an unprotected antique dining table. Who would stand a 48-inch glass table top on its side to bounce on the bottom of the container for a thousand miles? They thought that was a good idea too. We were originally told by the manager, Dana Oze that she was sickened by the damage and would cover the repair costs. We submitted the estimates as she directed and then she said she wouldn't pay for the over $4800 in damages. My grandmother's dining table is now little more than firewood and I am left with a hefty repair bill. We have used Two Men and a Truck before, but NEVER AGAIN. read more

And they don't pay for repairs because they shove a piece of paper in your face AFTER the move showing their liability, which clearly states it should be signed PRIOR TO the move. "So yeah, let's destroy everything, show no regard for this family's worldly possessions, and THEN tell them we are only responsible for up to $300 unless they pay even more than the $1300 they already are paying us to move them." These Guys are Awesome !! Very Professional from the start. They were recommended by a friend who had used them in April and they were every bit as great as she said they were. We moved two homes in Covington & Madison back to back this past Sunday and Monday so we had the opportunity to meet and work with 6of their movers.. All 6 were great .. All had wonderful personalities and I swear they all must be related to Hercules because they were non stop and the strongest guys ever!! I've waited to post this review in hopes that they would do right but they haven't. I moved from Covington to Social Circle GA on Sep 22nd. My first problem was that they moved 1/2 my house. I had to take several trips in cars to get the rest of my things. Second they lied and said they hadn't talked to me, when I had talked to them several times during the whole process. The movers even told me that once they got there they were going to put all the stuff in the living room bc they were tired. Said the lady that scheduled me should've done it in the morning bc I moved a whole house. Third they lied on my daughter and said she was the one telling them what to do. Why would I leave my minor in charge when my grown son was there? Fourth they watched my butt, literally the whole time they were there. Very unprofessional. Fifth they were told that the beds needed to be put together, that wasn't done. Then had the nerve to say call us privately for any more of your moving needs. I wouldn't dare. I used this company because my daughter gave it very good reviews. However, I had a different experience. One the team members on my move developed an attitude because I forgot to include some things in the walk through. I was in the middle of a painful separation/divorce and my husband was at the house. The truck was more than large enough to accommodate any furniture that I needed to take. After the display of attitude, he did not cover my mattresses with the plastic covers that I had purchased and did not take of placement with my possessions. I called the store while they were still loading the truck and spoke with the manager. I asked him if he thought he would need to send another team to the new address to unload my furniture because I did not want it damaged and he assured me that he had handled the problem. When the movers got to my house and unloaded the glass to my curio was broken, the curio had a large gash in the bottom and scratches on the side. The wicker chairs were damaged and the plastic that was on the mattresses (from the time of purchase) was not there. I have talked to the manager and the claim person twice but nothing. The claims person said he would check to see if I needed to pay the $300. deductible on the insurance that I purchased with the move or if they would send someone to repair without the deductible. This was happened on November 28th, 2016 and I still have damaged furniture. I am very upset and heartbroken over this. Paying someone to damage my property because I didn't show everything on a walk through. The driver of the team was very professional but the second member was discourteous and I feel intentionally did not take the proper care of my possessions. I will NEVER use Two Men and a Truck again or recommend them to anyone. I am contacting the corporate office and the Better Business Bureau with my complaint. I hope they can resolve this. I hired them to move me from GA to TN. I was given a quote for three men to pack my house and move me. I was told there was a $250 deposit and the move would be completed in one day. The deposit was supposed to be 25% of the move. The girl from the office charged my card the $250 then immediately the 25% which put a fraud hold on my card which was a nightmare to deal with. The day of the move the truck arrived half an hour late and only two men showed up. Because of the deadline of when I had to be at my new apartment I had to have them leave behind a ton of my belongings so they could get the big items. When they finally finished unloading and pulled out the final paperwork, it was marked to show delivery the day after pickup. I have now had to make six 5 hour round trips to pick up my remaining belongings when we could have finished loading the truck and arrived the next day. It took the branch manager two weeks to respond to my complaint and offered to take half an hour off the packing in the huge amount of $62. I have put hundreds of miles on my car, spent hundreds of dollars on gas, and have had to waste my time driving back and forth from TN to GA. They did a terrible job packing and didn't label a single box so I have had a hard time efficiently unpacking. This was by far the worst and most stressful move I have ever been through. I moved with Two Men and a Truck, Henry County in the last week of January. This was the first time ever that I had hired professional movers. Two Men and a Truck were recommended to me by a colleague. From the start to the end, my experience has been that they are completely professional and courteous. The person who took our reservation, John Cuttino, sent me a long detailed email explaining how the move would go with Two Men. I thoroughly appreciated that. Next the person who did the free in-house apartment moving estimate (sorry cannot remember the name now) provided additional information to reassure any doubts I had. Next getting a call from Mike the day before the move to confirm the appointment. Finally the movers themselves, Dustin, Jim & Ross, who arrived in the time slot they promised. Everything was professional and there were no surprises. The movers themselves did a great job moving everything carefully down from the third floor apartment. They wrapped anything that was not wrapped and worked efficiently and cheerfully throughout. Also even though we had signed up for just 2 movers, we got a third mover for free. Dustin, the team lead, also unhooked our washer & dryer system and locked the shipping bolts into the washer as recommended for front-load washer. He also nearly completely installed them back at our new place save for the fact that the dryer exhaust vent was not completely accessible at our new place. This was my first time using a moving company for my move. I was nervous to have strangers handling my things, but I couldn't be more pleased with the way that it turned out. My movers were Daniel and Paul and let me tell you, they were the best. They took very good care of my furniture and placed everything where it was supposed to go in my new residence - Even offered suggestions! I am very pleased, VERY pleased and hats off to Two Men and a Truck for making my move less hassling. I will definitely use this company again and recommend their services to anyone! read more

Efficient and courteous staff. Four guys and two trucks worked well as a team to pack and load 30 years worth of living in one home with garage and barn. They were careful with all of our belongings. Very happy with the service provided. read more

I hired this Stockbridge location back in May of 2014. The movers had damaged several items but I only brought to their attention 2 items. I immediately reported the issue and to this date, February 2015, after numerous in-person visits and numerous phone calls have yet to be reimbursed for the broken items. Every visit and every call is yet another run-around. I would not recommend using this company to anyone. Mover Beware! read more

I used this company because they had great reviews online. However, my whole moving experience moving from one state to another was a total nightmare. When the walk through occurred, all items were detailed. On Day 1, not all items were packed & I was told that they ran out of time?? (Really??).They packed my clothes in a wardrobe box with no bar to hang the clothing. I inquired about this & was told "we do this all of the time". There were many things that went wrong between lost and broken items, lots of aggravation, many phone calls and emails, lots of attitude and poor judgment of employees. We filed a claim for our broken, scratched and missing items. We were advised that the claim goes by the "weight" of the item. What a bunch of BS. No one ever advised or suggested we check out the area on the packing/moving list in the event of any damages or concerns. All in all, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS MOVING COMPANY TO ANYONE INCLUDING MY WORST ENEMY. You guys suck and I don't understand how you stay in business!!! Maybe you should consider INVENTORY items so that you know what items belong to which customer rather than playing a guessing game. I have used other moving companies in the past and they inventoried all items. So sorry at this time that I went with this company!! read more
