Two Perrys (the drinks) and a hot toddy!

Best bar I've ever been to in my life. Beautiful service. Amazing cocktails. Mark and Minh make this place so lovely! They have an amazing happy hour and play the most amazing playlist. In the summer time they open the windows and it's such vibe. I highly suggest the Perry and they make the best dirty GIn martini in Manhattan!

This place is a vibe. COVID has put on a kibosh on new bars in NYC. Leaving many season drinkers with a mixed bag. On one hand, (Many) Great bars were not priced out and replaced with shit. On the other, the regular turnover of shitty bars has drastically slowed. These days, in "post-COVID" times, I find myself in a drought of GOOD NEWbars. Lucky for me, I stumbled across Two Perrys. I'll admit, it was the open accordion doors and that pear. That damn beautiful pear. It felt like I was being drawn to it. The space is good. Very neutral-- kind of industrial chic prison vibes (lol) I'm not too into concrete floors but the big windows and abundance of greenery makes it oddly comforting. I showed up Friday around 6pm. The guys working were very chill about us entering, I was a bit worried we were there too early. They assured us they were open and were mighty welcoming. There is a full bar, along with a menu of their signature cocktails. I ordered a dirty gin martini (off) and a grapefruit collins (on). There gin selection is solid. Well being Seagrams. Love it, classic affordable flavourful hearty gin. Very undervalued imo. They also had Dorothy Parker, and Junipero. Always disappointed to NOT see Brooklyn Gin but a pleasurable experience to see something more than Hendricks and Beef. And always a plus for Seagrams well. We took a seat by the front, perfect for people watching. In better weather, they open up the doors, so it becomes a summer paradise. (Think very early Mother of Pearl) For that evening, just looking through the glass was lovely. Our drinks came quick. My dirty martini came with three proper well brined olives (none of that goya manzanilla), and a deep coupe. LOVE to see it. I think it was an Acopa Deco . The BOWL of coupes. The drink itself - Gorgeous WELL BALANCED martini. Absolutely stunnin' - My test drink is always a dirty gin martini. And you won't believe how many mediocre ones I've had. For only 14 dollars, It felt like my soul was reinvigorated. With just three sips, I knew TwoPerrys would be a staple. They know what they are doing here and it is appreciated. My next drink was their espresso martini with, espresso, tequila, and agave nectar. I appreciate a real shot of espresso. None of that syrup rubbish (Looking at you Boulton and Watts) This was a tad too thin for me. What it was lacking in mouth-feel, it made up with using not syrup espresso. It's a lovely bar. With a laid back, but high quality feel. From what I could dig up, it's the owners, M. Rocco Perry and (Mark Perry?) Michael Perry III's first venture into the bar scene. I've got to say, I'm impressed. Rocco, my man you make a slammin' dirty martini. I'm only disappointed it took me this long to find it. I eagerly will be back. Cheers to Two Perry's. Wishing you health and wealth for a long time. --- And for those keeping tabs, this replaced Loverboy.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

We started with the steak tartare with Melba toast and caviar. For entrees we had the creamy cavatelli with maitake and squash. We finished off with a gorgeous sticky toffee pudding served with bourbon vanilla ice cream and crunchy toffee pieces. We loved the grandeur of the space and the cozy fireplace. It makes for an ideal business dinner setting

Always a solid choice, though it could have been a bit colder. The bartenders were very nice and attentive, and the place clearly has a strong group of regulars. There was a friendly, familiar energy in the room that made it feel welcoming right away. Once my friend arrived, I tried "The Greatest Espresso Martini" and asked to swap the vodka for bourbon. They were very accommodating, and the drink turned out delicious. Rich, smooth, and good enough that I ordered a second. The music and lighting both hit the right balance, making it an easy, comfortable place to settle in for the night.

Unfortunately, our server only heard that 5 of us wanted afternoon tea, and one of the tiers of food was smaller than the others. We also had to pay extra for additional tea, which we were fine with, but service was severely lacking throughout. Our server didn't check up on us, and seemed to want us to leave quickly after dropping off the check. We would have been happy to pay the $65 each for afternoon tea, but it wasn't worth it and frankly, I was agitated by the whole ordeal by the time I left. We were also disappointed by the food items (as they were lacking) and nothing about this was like other experiences we had with other afternoon teas. I can't in good faith recommend this place, nor do I see myself coming back after the atrocious service we experienced.
