    Heavenly Oysters and Spritz.

Amazing oysters! Love their cocktails. The outdoor seating is great too. Servers have been friendly too.

Located in East Village, this bar offers bites as well as a variety of seafood. My friend was craving oysters, so we had to check out their HH! The interior of the restaurant is spacious, there's lots of outdoor seating, and they have nice and elaborate decor. The staff here is so easy to talk to and fun! We got their oysters and they were given with a cocktail sauce and vinegar. My friend LOVED them. They were fresh and they also had oysters from different places/variety. Would recommend if you wanted a drink or to check out their raw bar!

On a busy street of acclaimed restaurants and bars it appears goodnight sonny remains a staple. Throughout my trip, every bartender mentioned goodnight sonny as the place to go for some good eats and post shift drink. I love the space, a bit rustic, a bit modern, and every bit real. The bartender was wonderful. They were a little busy, but he still took some time to chat with me which was great. A simple 50/50 martini was my go to. It was cold, refreshing and everything you could ask for. The interior is vibey. Great for your first, or 50th date. Solid for a little group of friends as well. Perched on a corner primed for people watching.

Popped in for a quick couple of drinks before watching my friends get incensed that Wicked lost so many golden globes. The Sunny Orchard Margarita was legitimately one of the best margaritas I've ever had. The Fix was unusual with the Kaffir lime doing work. Very cool. The bartender could not have been faster or more courteous. The music and lighting was just right. I only wish I tried the grilled fish sandwich. I'll be back!

We stopped by on a Wednesday evening before heading to dinner, to grab some cocktails. They were busy, but not packed so we were able to get a table and sit for around an hour. We ordered one round of cocktails. I had the pretty in pink, which was sweet. Pretty good, sugary taste, not too alcohol forward which is what my wife was looking for (we shared). Quite pricey but seems to be expected in Manhattan. The bar had a really nice vibe, not too loud, but lively. Nice lighting and clean. Service was fast and attentive.

Goodnight Sonny is a terrific bar on the lower east side. Nothing fancy, but a legit bar with really good cocktails. The bartenders are very good. The vibe is terrific too.

Wow , amazing Happy Hour spot right on the corner of 1st Avenue and St Mark's Place in the East Village. Went at 5.30pm on a Tuesday and was really easy to just sit at the bar. My friend and I only came for oysters and a cocktail each. From the $12 HH cocktail menu I got the Daiquiri . That was delicious. Get one. My friend got the HH Old Fashioned and that packed a punch . My friend said they were serious cocktails ! Truth . The dozen East Coast oysters was $18 . Comes with mignonette sauce which I would skip . Just use the lemon or cocktail sauce. Oysters were pretty good and a few were quite big and meaty . Nice place to stop by. Chill vibe and the bartender is cool .

Sorry miss Jackson and champagne papi

My friend and I came here around 12:30 AM on a Wednesday since they were one of bars open later than 1 and just got two cocktails : Sorry miss Jackson(definitely on the sweeter side but no too sweet where I didn't want to finish it) and champagne papi (very light) ! I've seen this place packed before on a Friday so it was nice to get in without being crowded. Drinks were good and I'd come back to try more!

Goodnight Sonny was one of my favorite bars to chill at during my visit to New York. Amazing cocktails and very unique flavors! Good ambience and friendly service! :D + Almost Lover [6/5!!] --------------------- A deliciously sweet and airy drink! Reasonably strong for the price. I really enjoyed the egg white. Reminded me of apple cider! I would definitely recommend this one. + Swipe Right [6/5] ------------------ I enjoyed the egg white in this so much that I ordered another egg white cocktail right after. It's very tangy and you can actually taste a little bit of the Szechuan peppercorn-- I actually wish it was a bit stronger! It's a super unique cocktail.

Cute little spot to grab some drinks & a bite to eat. We had wonderful service from amanda and lacey - they're so funny & welcoming!! definitely will be coming back

    Happy hour dozen oysters $18
    Rosalia X.

Looking for a new place to go to for Happy Hour? You can get dozen oysters for $18 (however there are three selections, but you can't go wrong with either) I had four of each selection for the first dozen before my friend and I just picked the one oyster we enjoyed the most. I only ordered oysters during the happy hour for a quick bite. Didn't try the other stuff on the menu, maybe I'll come try things off their menu.

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Ladies and gentleman, I introduce you to The Devil's Backbone. A perfectly balanced drink I'll never forget, one that is sipped slowly and enjoyed thoroughly. It's sexy, it's smoky it's sipped. Attaboy gave the best mixology experience and we can't wait to be back. Pro tip: be sure to be as vocal as possible, even with ice, so you don't end up with a tiki drink if that's not your vibe.
