Oh my god, I cannot say enough great things about Hailey and the Two Roads team. As a covid bride, things were extra stressful, and the planning process was long and drawn out. But the best decision my husband and I made was partnering with Hailey. Every planning call with Hailey, she quickly put our minds at ease, offered excellent advice when it came to covid protocols, and helped us navigate a really tricky situation with requesting vaccine proof/negative covid tests. Our actual wedding day fell during one of the worst storms the bay area had seen in years. But, when I arrived at the venue to get into my dress, Hailey had quickly mobilized everyone to hold the ceremony inside the barn and had taken care of all of the logistics and stress so all I had to do was look at how gorgeous the barn looked. While we prepared all of our decor, and booked individual vendors ahead of time, they put together a run of show for everyone and coordinated all activities on the day-of. Two Roads Event company and their team were highly skilled, flexible, and on time to make it all work - exactly what any couple needs. Below is our detailed review of ways that Two Roads supported us on our special day. Leading up to the wedding We have been working with Two Roads since 2019. We started our planning process and they helped consult us on topics we are unfamiliar with since we are not in the wedding industry. They gave us sincere and real advice while also supporting our own goals and personal budgets and style. Due to COVID-19 and family emergencies we had to move our wedding at least four times and the Two Roads team has stuck with us the entire time. We cannot thank them enough for being there for us when we wanted to cancel everything and supporting us along this long roller coaster ride. You can tell the entire team puts their heart and soul into this work. And our production plan and documents helped us get all of our decor and vendors organized so we could easily transition all aspects of the wedding to the Two Roads team the day of. Taking care of bride and groom Hailey's team always made sure we had enough food, alcohol, and water so that we enjoyed our event and didn't worry about any small details. This might seem like a small task, but no one else at your wedding is going to care for you the way the TR team does because guests will be distracted with catching up with others and having a fun time themselves. By two roads taking care of our needs, our guests didn't have to worry about us, and could live in the magical moment. Decor We had decorations, some homemade and some that required set up and Hailey's team used the supplies that we gave them and transformed our venue. We trusted them to do what looked best and made sense and I must say I'm so happy we did that because they worked really hard to think about how the decor could flow and impress guests. Vendor management We had almost 10 individual vendors for TR to manage - multiple caterers, activities, and they managed to make friends by the end of the night with all of them. They kept the timeline running but also understood the organic nature of weddings and that nothing always goes according to schedule which is the magic of the event. The Two Roads team made sure our vendors had the information needed for the event ahead of time and also were supported during the wedding. They made sure everyone had a meal and had their needs met. ***CLARIFICATION*** As personal policy, I cannot let someone try to Yelp-shame me vis a vis allusions of extortion when I merely tried to leave a genuine account of my experience with their company without any expectation of monetary refund or even communication from their company. If anything, that reflects on the company and the way their business is conducted. In the sequence of events, Two Roads unilaterally stopped correspondence during previous attempts at resolution. Within days of leaving my honest opinion and experience, Two Roads initiated contact with me with an offer of $500 to remove my comments. As Two Roads says they shared information with me in emails, I have shared their initial email reaching out to me in case of further claims of lost documentation. I am not a legal expert, but that does not sound like extortion of their company and if anything could be interpreted as an obtuse attempt at bribery. A lawyer who promotes her abilities to pore over legal documentation on behalf of her clients for their weddings should have seen Yelp's Terms of Service before offering $500 in direct violation of their TOS. I suspect that same level of attention to detail played a role in the oversight about the deposit in question. Regardless, the source of our dissatisfaction (or "anger" as it was characterized) stems not from our feeling that we deserve a refund from another vendor (another issue), but rather dissatisfaction with your lack of accountability and it continues to be demonstrated by inappropriately calling us out for behavior you initiated. We just wanted to leave our honest review so potential clients could have a balanced view of our experience in working with you, and not just see ratings based on your vendors' accomplishments - for example, how beautiful and postable the pictures were, or how amazing the caterer was. I am allowed to leave a review and I do not deserve to be characterized as an extortionist when it is your very own practices that may be questionable. I'm not even sure where to begin with how happy we are with our experience with Two Roads! Our initial conversation with Hailey was wonderful and she asked so many questions and really helped make the transition of moving forward with our wedding so painless and she introduced us to Sam who would be helping us with our wedding. Packages were easy to understand, and even with Sam living in Northern California, and us living in Southern California, they made it super easy on us. Not to mention our wedding being smack dab in between both of us. We really couldn't have asked for a better coordinating company. We were given our planning timeline and had monthly phone meetings with Sam and were mostly on track throughout the whole process. My now husband and I had millions of questions and Hailey, Sam and their team were always ready to answer them in a timely manner. We had a few issues on our wedding day and the week before leading up to the day, including my hair and makeup people cancelling... but Sam made us feel very calm and made sure everything was sorted out. And we were able to find a new company who was willing to jump in and help, thanks to Sam's research. I know it's not easy finding vendors when you aren't in the area, but Sam was on top of it. we even had an issue with a walk through for our venue and Sam made sure to figure it out and kept us at ease. The communication between her and the vendors was amazing. And we didn't have to stress the week of our wedding and we're able to relax and do things for ourselves. I've never been one to freak out, but I knew that if something went wrong, Sam and her team would make it work. Which they did, they had alternatives to any situation. We just wanted to enjoy the day with our friends and family, and we were able to do that. Not once was I worried about our wedding because of Two Roads. Avoid at all costs. Hailey kept our $7,125 for producing absolutely nothing for our wedding in 6 months time, except for a Pinterest board (that I could have easily done myself) and insanely long emails. When we asked her for a breakdown of costs to date, she pointed to the contract and said that the $7,125 goes to opportunity cost. Seems sketchy as it doesn't look like she had that many weddings this year according to her instagram page. She never picked up the phone to call me when things started going south. She just kept writing lengthy, fluffy emails and saying she wishes we could have talked (my phone NEVER rang). It was wrong for her to keep our $7,125 and now that our wedding is behind us, we will be taking legal action. Email communications already attached. She put way more effort into these emails than she ever did planning anything for our wedding! Looks like she will put even more effort into responding to negative yelp reviews. For a grand total of $14,000+, Hailey's wedding planning services fell way short. Luckily, we had the best day thanks to a new planner. I had the pleasure of working with Two Roads to plan my wedding this year. I had the rockstar combo of working with them on design and wedding logistics. When it came to both, I was a mess. This review is for Hailey's Pretty Planner Wedding Workshop: I didn't know what to expect from Hailey's wedding planning service after my bridesmaids bought me her party planning workshop as a gift. I spoke to Hailey on the phone and she asked a few questions and we set a time to meet for our workshop. I brought a pen and notepad and my iPad (for easy Pinterest access of course!) I met Hailey at a cozy coffee shop in midtown and honestly, given my state of wedding panic with only 2 months left before my wedding, I feared she might make me more stressed by pointing out all the things I still had left to do... My experience was exactly the opposite! I left our workshop feeling inspired and excited to put into place her wonderful ideas on our special day. Hailey is wonderful and creative and makes you feel at ease the moment you meet her. She spends the time getting to know you and your fiance's love story and then helps you map out what you need to throw a truly personalized and unique wedding. After our workshop, I ran home and shared all of her ideas with my fiance and he loved them as much as I did. I can't say enough good things about Hailey. Very late in writing this review, but anyways...I hate looking back on my wedding day thinking about all of the regrets I have. It should've been a seemless day and looking back there were so many things missing. Hailey dropped the ball on so many things and it was very unorganized (her only job was to organize). There were several items left at home that she didn't even tell me or have someone else go home and get (I lived 15 min away). My wedding was beautiful (thanks to me and my florist) but so messy and all over the place. I wouldn't recommend two roads to anyone in the LA area. After hiring Hailey for her month-of planning service, we had monthly calls for over a year which helped me stay on track and helped inform me of all sorts of details that would make our wedding guests feel comfortable and have a great time. During the week of our wedding, Hailey constructed a very comprehensive timeline and sent it out to all of our other vendors, taking over communication with them at that point. My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of having Hailey as our Wedding Coordinator for our Sacramento wedding a few weeks ago. We opted for month-of coordination, but what Hailey provided went above and beyond this service. She truly cares about her work, and you can tell it isn't just a job for her. We decided to plan our wedding on a shorter than normal timeline and I had so many elements that I was DIY'ing that a less enthusiastic coordinator would have simply laughed out loud at what I was trying to achieve. Hailey, however, was my biggest cheerleader, and she helped me find ways to envision the whole picture, which meant prioritizing projects and getting the best bang for our buck, so to speak. Hailey is an absolute God-sent miracle worker and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my wedding! She has the taste, talent, and tact to handle any and everything when it comes to planning an event, wedding or otherwise! A full time student, I was also planning the wedding from out of state, with the Future Hubby deployed the entire length of the planning, and a very opinionated, old-fashioned (albeit well-meaning!) mother all of which she supported me through with nothing but patience, advice, open ear, and if needed, a shoulder to cry on. Since I was out of state, Hailey was kind enough to communicate via Skype for the vast majority of the planning, meeting in person the few times I was home, which worked out just fine. There are no words to describe how amazing our wedding planning experience was working with Hailey and Two Roads Events. My mom and I (crazily) interviewed 12 wedding planners and Hailey from the very beginning stood out with her bright, cheerful, calming, action oriented personality. As we all know (or soon you will learn) that wedding planning can be one of the most stressful events in your life. Hailey was there for me through each stressful decision/ experience. For all those brides out there that know how family gets during the planning process, I felt that Hailey was always on my side to help me get exactly what I needed. She was also the only planner that offered a much better "partial planner" package by starting with you as soon as you signed with her. Our monthly calls and unlimited emails in the far out months were invaluable, where other partial planners only came into the picture a month or so out. I can be very particular with design and usually dont trust others, but Hailey was so on point with her style that I fully trusted her to execute on many design solutions and decisions.  And when all my signage didnt arrive from a different vendor day of she was all over coming up with quick solutions to solve this horrible problem (ladies there will always be at least one problem day of and she is the solution master that you want on your side). Before we met Hailey at daughter's wedding rehearsal; we were given a detailed itinerary with contact information listing all particulars needed to get a great overview of what was to happen. Since we are from out of town, everything was new to us. At the wedding rehearsal, It soon became apparent that Hailey was calm, organized, and had everything under control. She worked in tandem with the church's representative to make sure everything went smooth and everyone knew the routine. The wedding and reception was over the top wonderful. Hailey was there every step of the way. As the guests made their way from the church to the reception, Hailey again had everything under control. Café 15L was the venue and the space was set up and decorated to its full potential... Every Detail was Perfect!! Hailey was so kind and considerate to everyone - even offering to get us drinks. She kept everyone on schedule - not once did anyone feel rushed.... People who spoke had ample time to be prepared. While waiting for a beverage, I asked if they had many weddings and the bartender said yes.. But this wedding made the best use of the facilities that she had ever worked. Later during the reception I spoke to the Manager, Matt, on an unrelated topic and he made a point to bring up the fact that Hailey was one of the most professional and organized planners he has ever worked with... that is high praise indeed from a Service Industry Professional who has seen and worked hundreds of events. Hailey is the BEST!!!!! I had my wedding in Big Sur CA and she helped me from day one. Even helped me find the most amazing location a girl could have asked for. Her attention to detail and she worked so well with the team I pulled together with caterers, florist, location coordinator, rental company's, etc. The list goes on and on. She also, with the help of her husband, pulled together and styled a welcome party at the hotel we were all staying at for the weekend. I hired Hailey for the coordination of my wedding after feeling overwhelmed, stressed and anxious about a month before. She did an phenomenal job in calming me and making me feel like she had everything under control- becasue she did! I really can't say enough good things. She made an extremely detailed timeline with all vendors involved and was in contact with them in the weeks leading up to the wedding so I didn't have to be.
