What a great little hidden gem (well for us!) We're traveling and always scout for new breweries to try and I'm glad we came across this one. They had recently celebrated their 10th anniversary and we were eager to try their beers. The girl behind the counter was great and explained the beers and gave us information about the brewery. The brewery is super cool inside and out, there is seating both inside and outside; there is also a food truck onsite. Great service, great atmosphere and good beer.

Wow! Steve and I simply loved Two Shy Brewing and the thing was that out of the four different beers we tried we really couldn't pick a favorite one because we simply loved all of them. Normally when I give a five star rating for a brewery and have several different types of beers I have one or two out of the group that are favorites but this was too difficult to make a decision on... so all four different ones were favorites... which is quite rare for us. Moving onto what we had... We had the Tropical Mist IPA, specifically this is a White IPA which we love getting because it's an IPA you don't see often and we always love them when we can get them. No exception at all here. Flavors to look for with this beer are citrus and hoppiness. This light bodied IPA is very refreshing and very crushable! The next beer was a wonderful pilsner, the Ella Pilsner. Again, we thought very highly of it and enjoyed the crisp, clean, malty and dry flavors in the beer. It also goes down very smooth! The next was a Toffee Nut Brown Ale. And another beer that we thought highly of. It was great detecting the toffee, caramel, coffee, and sweet flavors. The beer has a very nice, creamy body to it as well. And the last beer we thought just as highly of as the previous beers that we tried. Everything is Awesome Pale Ale was the next beer to come up to bat on our tastebuds. Another great light bodied beer that is nice and smooth as you drink it. Flavors to find with this beer is something of a hint of spring along with sweetness and subtlety. After trying four different beers from this brewery I think it's fairly safe to say you really can't go wrong with any beer you order here as we thought very highly on everything we tried!

Well.. this one is easy..one of THE BEST burgers we have ever had.. we had the brisket burger Friday night over at Two Sky Brewery in Roseburg. The hamburger flavor was some of the best. We learned that B&Q grinds their own beef. Get some, now! And as this was our first time at Two Shy, the 'Worth the Wait' IPA (read, very citrusy) was magical. The entire evening was magical, pub ambience, the fellow customers, wait staff, and dog friendly. As we were visiting the community, we came home with some 'souvenirs' to include Olaf's Warm Hugs 10.2 abv.. and more Worth the wait, plus others..

First time in and i love it. This is my new Roseburg spot! Fantiastic beer menu, many of the beers have unique and fun flavor profiles. Today i got a 6 taster flight and all 6 were very good. Beer tender was super nice, informative, and seemed to care about the brewery and my experience. All was served with a big smile and the whole time i was there she was laughing with customers. Loved my experience. Also used the wifi and it worked great.

Two Shy has a great reputation for high quality craft beers, and a wide selection of brews from light lagers, to IPAs, reds, browns, stouts, ciders, soft drinks, water. They also host very popular food trucks: burgers, hot dogs, pizza, Chinese. They have inside and covered outside seating, accommodating large groups and couples. Within Roseburg and very close to Interstate 5.

Ambience so cool. Staff nice and cool and food truck with fresh ahi tuna bowl ... oh & the beer rocked!

A flight of 4x4 oz pours turned out to be my liquid lunch for the day. The brewery is small but the menu board contained quite a variety to choose from. Can't remember why this place was on my list, but I'm glad that it was. There were 3 stouts and a porter on the board today, enough to make up my flight. Mt Bailey cream porter was initially sweet but not too much so. The Oregon Rebel was their bourbon barrel aged imperial stout and it certainly tasted like it; it wasn't as thick as others I've had but well balanced. The cold brew stout had a very nice long coffee finish after about a second in; IMHO this is what a coffee stout should taste like! So many others I've had are harsh up front with no finish. Finally the chocolate mint stout was surprisingly subtle in its mintyness. There was a burger food truck out front but this was a liquid lunch day. There are 10 small tables inside along with some counter space. Outside had a few tables with heaters going. All of this was topped off with great servers and a very fast free wifi. Highly recommend a stop here if you're in the area.

I must've really come on the wrong day. Had a Groupon it was kind of sad. He had to schedule to see this facility with the Groupon, so that didn't happen .They were out of a lot of beers. We were kind of on her own. One of the six beers was really good . As for customer service we just didn't get it. It was our first time just wasn't impressed at all. read more

Great place with nice indoor outdoor seating. Food is served from food truck that changes between Chines, BBQ and burgers. I'm a big fan of their Hazy IPA. Nice place well worth the visit. read more

Love the atmosphere here! It's great to have an indoor/outdoor spot to kick back, have good conversation and enjoy excellent beer! So, wow! This place is pretty much amazing! All of the beers we sampled were delicious and Danielle was so knowledgeable and helpful with our beer selection. The food, we ordered the Caprese sandwich, was so good and totally hit the spot. I have to say, this ranks up in my top three brewery experiences. Thank you for showing us a memorable beer tasting experience and, well, for just being so nice! We will definitely swing back by on our way home to Olympia, if time allows. Cheers! read more

While visiting Roseburg I did a search for local breweries. I found this rustic place with a wonderful selection of brews. The Reformation Red (Irish Red) immediately caught my eye. The service is good and there is a food truck for eats and a selection of brews that would satisfy any beer drinkers palate. I have been there twice in my first week here. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. read more

We stopped here on a recent trip to Canyonville Or, Due to COVID we look for places that have outside seat. They have a very nice outdoor area. Beer was good. They have rotating food truck that come on. The day we were there it was a Asia food truck. That was just ok. read more

This place was great! The beers I tried were consistently good, and the vibe inside was low key and friendly with lots of big tables/space for meeting up with people. The guy at the bar (owner maybe?) was super nice and let us try a few beers and gave suggestions before ordering. There was a food truck and cool lil patio with heat lamps out front as well (brewery doesn't serve food). Parking was a bit of a challenge, we ended up taking the last spot in the lot. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area! read more

Great beer & friendly atmosphere! I had a pint of the Reformation Red, which was delicious, and my husband got a pint of one of their flavorful IPAs after starting with their taster tray. I've been here 4 times, tasted several beers and it seems their consistency waivers. Each time the same beer tastes different. This time around I had the French bread pizza made by the side kitchen... The veggies were cold, the cheese under the veggies was not melted. read more

I'm sorry to say this was not a great experience. The building smelled really bad. The beer was horrible with a heavy tin taste. The BBQ place smelled good but we did not eat. Maybe things will get better but our experience has us not going back anytime soon. The staff was friendly. read more

Great locals spot. We stopped off in Roseburg for the night on our road trip and were looking for a low key beverage and dinner spot, found it on Yelp. Drinks, local IPA and a good cider were excellent. Food truck outside provided good food, burger and pulled pork sandwich. Inside about half the people there were there for a '21' birthday party, filled up the place. The birthday gal turned out to be a local singer and we enjoyed her singing. Would definitely go back. read more

so after driving by this place for months, dh and i decided we wanted a brew and a nice snack. this place was a winner!! very laid back, causal, bartenders were friendly. at the bar, they let us sample several brews, and i liked it because they had a half pint sized glass. perfect for me. i guess they rotate the food trucks out front. today was a grill-n-cheese truck. food was very good and reasonably priced, and good sized portions. we will be back here again. read more

I bumped into Two Shy a couple of years ago. The beer is simply outstanding. I've been to a great number of microbreweries in the West and PNW. Easily a top 5 brewer in the West and PNW. I'm constantly amazed how many varieties they brew and the how styles are true to form. Highly recommended. read more

First time at Two Shy. Had a taster board. The Hef was a good American style wheat. Influence IPA is nice and fruity. Ignition Double IPA has an IBU of 105. Wow! Chocolate Milk Stout is good. Rebel Stout is incredible!! Mint Stout is, well, minty should you like that. You really need to stop by and try these. read more

We are on a 3 state tour and include the brew pubs along the way. California, Oregon and Washington. Two Shy Brewing has some good brews, good food and good staff. I would recommend this as a place to stop if you are going through the Roseburg area. I tried a flight and liked almost all but the Pils. Since I am not a Pils fan it is understandable. I purchased a hat and a 32 oz growler from them. The Venue is very much like what I would think there is in European countries like Belgium. read more

History

Established in 2010.

Two-Shy Brewing started in a garage. Wait, you've heard this before? Not uncommon for a brewery, that's for sure. We home brewed some pretty good beer from the beginning, we aren't gonna lie. Our IPA took a few prestigious NW home brew awards. It just went from there and in 2012 we became licensed to brew and sell beer. It's been a wild ride and we are nowhere near the end of it. We invite you to be part of our story! Come visit the tasting room and relax with a pint or a flight and some good company..

Meet the Business Owner: Lyle H.

Two-Shy Brewing started as Lyle H. continued home brewing after moving to Roseburg and would invite neighbor Paul S. over to have a Home Brew. Paul quickly joined in. They soon realized the Home Brew they produced is "way better than what you can get at the store". After a couple of months of brewing the pair realize they seemed to always end up two bottles shy of Two cases. Noticing this reoccurring anomaly, they decided to call their brewing endeavor Two-Shy Brewing. The two brought on Erik N. in 2010 as he shared passion for excellent beer. After winning multiple home brew competitions and doing some homework, the trio realized that Douglas County with its 26 wineries is thirsty for a Quality Craft Beer. In September of 2010 Lyle, Paul and Erik decided to make Two-Shy Brewing LLC. their business. The business has evolved and with families and lives changing Erik stepped down from ownership in November of 2015 and Paul in December of 2016. Currently owned by Lyle and Danielle H.

The beers are experimental and creative with their beers making some pretty unusual beers that taste great! We have had three of their beers so far on two separate occasions and both times the beers were very impressive and enjoyable! One of the beers we had was the Thumb Ring. A Wild Ale that was excellent. It was aged on peaches, blackberries and coconut. Flavors featured with this beer are tartness, peachy, cherry and a hint of purposeful mustiness. Wit Bat was another beer we had. Also a Wild Ale this beer was wonderful also! Flavors to find with this Ale are tartness and jam like. The jam like qualities come from the marionberries and the Coriander brings it an extra depth. A very effervescent and elegant Ale. The third beer we had was the Earl of Tenmile. This was a Sour Ale with flavors of tart, sour, some sweetness and a clean finish. It is a blend of two and four year spontaneously fermented Ales. Such great beers and ales Draper has to offer and I would love to continue to explore with more of their beverage options which I hope would be in the near future.

As usual the service here is outstanding. The severs are warm inviting and are attentive. The environment is as always very comfortable and relaxing. Now for the breakfast review: Today I being it's my first breakfast here I tried the biscuits and gravy with a sausage patty. The drink I chose for this morning's breakfast was a Spanish coffee. Typically when I try an establishments breakfast for the first time it's always biscuits and gravy. By far my favorite breakfast ever. If they prepare this dish well that tells me it's okay to be more adventurous. Well the Lilly nailed it today. The biscuits and gravy is everything that it should be. Authentic and not artsy fartcy. Just good old school down home biscuits and gravy and that is what I received today. The dish was flavorful and the biscuits are spot on. The sausage patty was of very good quality and very flavorful as well. The Spanish Coffee was very nice prepared and the presentation was excellent. Once again the Jersey Lilly has knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend that you try this establishment.
