I wanted this to be a good meal. We stopped by on our way back from hiking Many Glacier. About 130. We go in the front door but the chairs are up lights are mostly off but door unlocked. We leave see an employer out front and ask if and when they are open. Her response "read the notes on the door". And walked off. After sorting through about 5 signs on the door. I concluded they open at 4. But there was a little shack opened for carry out. We gave it a try. Menu and prices not published. The order taker was polite so we ordered fried chicken and club sandwich. Now the fried chicken was not bad only a day or two old but the club had to be three days plus old. $35 dollars for the leftover food. A disappointment for sure. You know I have found most the people in Montana are very very nice but this area east of GNP has some nasty folks. Not all but maybe 10% just are bad apples. The food was very good. However, their pricing is ridiculous. There were four in our party. The menu states that they won't split the ticket two and two. They said if we wanted separate tickets we would have to sit at separate tables. They won't split it at the register either. They suggested Venmo, which three of us don't use. They also state on the Menu that there is a $7.95 split plate fee. They seated us at two separate tables (designed for four) across the room from each other even though there were two tables next to each other. All of that was just silly. They would rather have other customers waiting longer by forcing us to occupy two tables instead of one. What happened at the cash register was offensive! We both ordered an item because of the no sharing rule. Our mistake was we tried each others food. Yes, they actually added the "split plate fee" to each meal! Even though the food was very good I won't be going back or ever recommending it to anyone. If you are thinking of eating there, be aware of their childish business practices. read more

The food here is outstanding. It has traditional food, such as bison, with a New Orleans twist, such as Creole and bourbon sauces. Their baked goods are some of the best I ever tasted. I personally enjoyed the atmosphere. It is a diner motif, but very eclectic. I would love to hear the story of how they got all the state and province license plates. The service was good. While we were here visiting Glacier National Park Two Sisters Cafe was the last restaurant we ended up trying. The burgers were average. Nothing too fancy, just your normal average Cafe to get a decent fix after a long hike. The cool thing about this place though is they have a little game you could play on the table while you wait for you food. Some sort of stick optimization puzzle. Just like what everyone else mentioned. The price is high for the product you receive, but that's pretty much the same everywhere in this area. Would I come back? This place was a godsend after a very full day of hiking. We stopped here not knowing anything about it but we were hungry and saw a bunch of cars. Plus, anybody ballsy enough to paint a boxy restaurant bright purple must have decent food. Given the paucity of restaurants and peak season at glacier National park, there was a huge crowd but we waited.... And the staff was so organized and SO polite.... I don't know how they kept their cool with such a crowd.... It must have been crazy business like that for days too. But the service was surprisingly quick and the server so attentive. They have their act together. The food was good too. I got the texican salad with pulled pork and the bbq was really nice, plus having fresh veggies was such a relief. My older son got fish and chips which was standard but decent. My husband got the banh mi sandwich with chicken which was a nice surprise on the menu. Desserts were a highlight.... My younger son got the brownie mountain which was a crowd pleaser and enough to share, the others in my family got the huckleberry pie which was Way overpriced but it's the tourist thing out there. It was good pie though... homemade and tart, but smallish slices. After almost getting sucked into an overpriced steakhouse close to Glacier, we opted for this more down-home option based on their great yelp reviews and quirky decor. I mean, if the sign "ALIENS WELCOME" on the roof didn't do it, the food and ambiance definitely won us over! Filled with bumper stickers, US license plates, random inflatables and other eclectic items, this cafe proved to be a cool joint for a post hike meal. We ordered the classics: Bison Burger with Bleu Cheese and Chicken Fried Steak and both were amazing. I would have liked a little more gravy on my steak, but I am a gravy enthusiast. For the average eater, the default amount of gravy is okay. The best part of the meal was the dessert. The milkshakes here are sure to bring ALLL the boys to the yard because they are delicious! We also sampled a peanut butter moose pie that nearly put us into a diabetic coma, but I loved it! If you're looking for a fun meal after a long day in the park, you can't go wrong here. We stopped in at the advice of a couple of glacier Park employees. The place is casual, interesting interiors, and excellent simple food. Everything we had was really good. My wife and I were lucky to randomly stop here, probably because of the colorful and creative facade. After having spent the prior week in Canada and just crossing back over to the US we were dying for some good food. We found Canada's selection of local food stops to be um...terrible, in comparison to the US. Sorry Canada but it's the truth. Now for the good stuff. As we walked in we were greeted by an mouth watering BBQ aroma as well as a very nice server. I took on the BBQ pork sandwich with freshly made French fries. My wife went with the two sisters (grass fed) beef burger. We did some plate swapping and both really enjoyed each other's meals. The fries were some of the best, not soggy, not too crunchy, perfect seasoning. I thought the pork sandwich was the best I've ever had. It rivals the Memphis style sandwich I get at Rooster's back in MN and I thought rose to the number one spot in my stomach. When we head back to Glacier we'll definitely be stopping back here as often as possible. To hell with cooking over an open fire at the campground when this place is so close and sooooo good. read more

This place was the first one we saw after exiting the park one day. We stopped and it was absolutely delicious. Kind of expensive, but what can you expect in a tourist place? The food was delicious. I loved my grilled cheese sun dried tomato pesto. It was to die for! Everyone at my table got something different and it was all so good. Veggies were super fresh and delicious. Their pulled pork is good, as well as their Red Burger (husband reports the creole sauce adds just the right amount of kick). Pricing wasn't outrageous, but the flies buzzing around relentlessly were (a half dozen trying to get at our fo. In addition, we ordered chips and salsa and their chips were obviously fried in the same fryer as their pickles because they had a distinct dill taste to them. I have mixed feelings about writing this review because I LOVE their tofu sandwich and fries, but everything else there SUCKS. My mom got the fish and it was a small portion of mostly breading and little fish. The place itself is cute but we saw multiple people around us get their food before us. We waited for 45 minutes before being seated, which was whatever but the host was SO rude about it. There are other reviews mentioning him and I agree, this man John I believe is awful. I cannot believe this place is still open and they can get by with crazy prices and awful service just because there are such few options in the are. Our server was new and very nice and good at her job, but the owner woman directly disrespected the server right in front of us, when she was doing a great job!! The owner was so mean to every worker right in front of us which was sad. I used to work as a server at a mom and pop place and the owner would never do that to us in all of my server experiences. Just terrible owners and sad I will not be eating that tofu sandwich again, LOL. I understand tourists can be really intrusive on the towns surrounding glacier (I live in the flathead valley) but they keep our economy a float and they should want to share this beauty with others, not yell and be mean to patrons. I believe This is the first bad Yelp review I have written for a restaurant I Would definitely not recommend the two Sisters. Food was of poor quality but management was even worse. My wife had asked our waitress about the beef stew special and what was in it and told it was a thick stew of Beef, potatoes and vegetables .Sounded good after a day of hiking. What arrived was a thin broth with mostly all mushrooms and one lonely thin piece of beef . When we pointed out that beef broth with mushrooms is not exactly consistent with thick beef stew the manager when out of her way to tell us in a malevolent tone that it was cooked perfectly and that mushrooms were a vegetable and we would would not replace the meal even if we ordered something else. Then she walked away and preceded to yell at the poor waitress for apparently telling us she would replace the meal. It is pretty obvious The management at The Two Sisters does not care about their customers or their staff. read more

I think they should stick to a few options and do them well. They did have several vegetarian options which was nice. What a wonderful surprise this place was! We were generally disappointed by the food inside the park. Went here on the recommendation of a local who was a guide. Got a veg nachos which was incredibly fresh, cheese was great and the onions and tomatoes tasted like they were freshly chopped. One of the rare cases where you ran out of chips before you ran out of ingredients to put on them. For dinner, I got the half chicken. A Mexican style dish, huge portions...very good and fresh.
