We dined here in between lunch and dinner. Restaurant was not super busy and service was just ok. I ordered the Ruben which was equally as ok as the service was. The pastrami was very tough which made the sandwich even messer than you would expect. At one point I decided to just disassemble it since picking it up was not working well however it was even difficult to cut with the plastic utensils that were provided (that's how tough the pastrami was). The fries however were very good - cooked perfectly. I ordered a drink which didn't arrive at the table until our meal was almost done (I had to request the drink a second time so the server clearly forgot). My husband had a brat sandwich which he enjoyed and looked tasty. My son and his gf ordered cheese fries to share. They came with chili, large order with plenty for 2 and they reported they were very good. The part that turned me off to this place was their checkout process, if paying with a credit card. The server didn't provide an actual itemized receipt and just put the card reader in front of me. I went to take the card reader so I could check out and she said "no I'll hold it" and then watched as I selected the tip. Although you can customize the tip and put less than the 18% or 20% recommendations, it's sort of awkward with her clearly watching what I select. If I was thinking on my feet I would have put no tip and left cash. There's a lot of great places to dine in Helen so I won't be returning to this place. read more

Bro came here for a peanut butter whiskey but got bamboozoled. The lady was racist too (found out after i bought the whiskey shots; Before we even said anything the lady came up and said to my friend we have no more tables, but we looked and there were many open tables. Then we asked if we can order 2 shots at the bar. When we came into the bar and ordered the peanut butter whiskey, it came out to be $21 for only TWO shots! Insane! They will rip you off. Quite frankly we expected to be underwhelmed here - and experienced the EXACT OPPOSITE. It doesn't hurt that I love a biker bar (nostalgia.) but this was truly a gem. Popped in after a day of hiking - but you know how "tourist" towns are... we just didn't expect much and picked TTT because it was one of the few places in Helen that had more than 3-stars in yelp. From the second we arrived - hot, probably looking sweaty and honestly just tired and gross - the hostess was kind and accommodating. She aimed a fan in our direction for us on the open air patio... just a sweet and unnecessary gesture that we appreciated. Solid beer list and a full bar. Our server, I think she was named Megan, was seriously so great. Attentive, genuine, relaxed, and efficient. We dine a LOT at really great places - some people are naturals, and she definitely was. (Thanks, girl!) We ordered too much. The onion rings with beer cheese for dipping were SO good. The chef's salad was crisp and fresh with mixed greens. The burgers - all prepared medium well per the menu - were stellar, and I'm barely a burger person. There was something unique about the bread - like it was vaguely sweet - that made them different and special. (Make sure to ask for lettuce and tomato if it isn't listed on the menu as a topping too!) The burgers were also HUGE and the beef wasn't pressed together like a hockey puck, which is a welcome change to the average "bar burger" Lastly, the have Italian water ice for $3. I wish I would have saved room for made in-house cheesecakes. Ordered the naked wings and the currywurst sausage. I ordered the currywurst sauce on the side with cucumber salad and German potato salad. I loved the currywurst sauce. The flavor was amazing. I loved it so much I was dipping the wings in the sauce. My recommendation would be along with being able to order your wings naked, mild, medium or hot to also be able to get it with the currywurst sauce. A beer in this comfortable spot gets one thinking about food. The potato pancakes were nicely crispy but not overdone, the necessary sour cream and applesauce were on hand. The de rigueur giant pretzel was OK decent cheese dip. The house made wurst (sausage) from a family recipe was aromatic and flavorful but the seasonings were not overwhelming. The rich meaty flavor combined with the texture of quality meat made the sausage a delicacy. The sauerkraut was quite good and German potato salad was done. Nice spot out of the mass hustle and bustle of town. It's just outside the epicenter of Helen to avoid the crowd yet still be in the vicinity of you need to meander around. The drinks were not extensive but had something for both of us. The potato soup was perfect on a chilly day after hiking and was hearty enough almost as a meal in itself. The cheese curds we're also good ( it's fried cheese, I mean how can you mess that up) and the marinara was ok. The service seemed a bit relaxed but in this town I can blame anyone for not being as attentive as I would have liked. The whole town during winter is kind of rockin a "What's the rush, have a drink" type of vibe. It's a biker bar that you could bring the family to. Overall, it's a nice spot that I would go back for. They told us that they don't seat big parties so I asked them to seat us as a party of 7 and a party of 6. Then they said that it was still a big group and that they weren't going to be able to seat us down. After explaining that we were 2 families and that we could seat separate, they then wrote our names down. The hostess sat a party of 5 where a party of 6 perfectly was able to seat down. So sad, our country is so divided. Discrimination is so obvious here. Helen Georgia is not a place to visit!! And I apologize to those are asking to support small businesses but for restaurants It is time to stand up for ourselves have some pride. DON'T Bother!.. because the wait staff blatantly cannot be bothered to acknowledge your presence as a valued customer. Never have I ever experienced being ignored to the degree that it took several hand waves and almost yelling 'excuse me!' to get someone's attention. Only to then be looked at by three of the wait staff as if we were either invisible or unworthy of their time. One of the waitresses started to approach but changed her mind, turned her back toward us and just pretended to be otherwise occupied. If you're looking for a place that is social distancing or any Covid preventative measures, go somewhere else. Staff are not wearing masks either. I would suggest sticking to the outdoor deck since the tables are more distanced out. Otherwise the food was mediocre. Stopped for lunch they have very easy motorcycle parking out front as you would expect from the name. Bartender was very friendly but what I think sets this place apart is the level of cleanliness I noticed. Bathrooms were spotless. From what I could see into the kitchen it was very clean.
