A+ for cleanliness. Got the #1 TX burger combo with plain fries. Great patty with crispy edges, thinly sliced purple onion, lettuce, tomato and dill pickles. The fries were great. I saw the 10+ tubs of Blue Belle ice cream but I had no room for dessert. The ice cream was a big hit at 6pm in the drive-thru. Everyone working was super nice and the restaurant is spotless!

Stopped here with my girlfriend on a worktrip to Dallas for a quick bite. Fast service, clean restaurant. Tasted like a better version of a whataburger, i can see how they are successful. The burger was a 6.5/10 In my Opinion. Its nothing too special or terrific. Still a good burger that deserves a pat on the buns The ingredients in the burger held up well. -Very Nicely Put Together! andddddd The fries were fiine! Hot and crisp. Thats all. Thank You! -Santangelo Balli Gonzales

Real Texans know about TX Burger! I stopped here on the way to Dallas for a bite on-the-go and it was everything I remember. Classic burger with fresh ingredients and great customer service. I paid about $12 for a burger, seasoned fries, and a drink. The restaurant gives small town burger joint vibes and they deliver on that vision. I have been a few times during my travels and will be back.

The wait was a little longer than I expected it to be. The food was hot and fresh. The fries were very good. I would visit the location and eat the food again.

Pretty solid burger joint. We've made a few stops here in the past on our way to or from Dallas to Houston. Food is always hot, fresh and made in a timely manner. Really no complaints. I was very surprised at the steak fingers they were really good.. first time getting them. They also serve blue bell ice cream in your choice of a hand dipped cone or a hand spun malt or shake. They have several locations in small towns. Definitely worth a try.

Food was great. Had the #1 with cheese, no onion or tomato, however they put them on there. Easy to pick off. Service was friendly and quick

I was the only speck of pepper in a room full of salt. With all eyes on me, I gave a wave, some folks smiled back and understood what i was doing others weren't quite sure what to make of it. The vibe is old-school texas dining. It was mofos in there with actual spurs on their boots. Clean, no-frills, and straightforward. Concrete floors, a mix of mismatched chairs in earth tones with the occasional pop of red. You seat yourself, and service is quick. my server showed up almost immediately with a laminated 8.5x11 menu featuring a tight lineup of Americana comfort food. I went with the chicken fried steak, with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes on the side. The Brussels sprouts were split and grilled, simply done with a bit of butter and salt--nothing fancy, but solid. The mashed potatoes? A perfect base for the white gravy, which was the standout on the plate. The chicken fried steak itself had well-seasoned breading, but I wish the meat had been more tender. That said, the gravy was so good it honestly deserves to be bottled and sold at H-E-B. Because when you have already committed to overeating why stop, i tried the peach cobbler dessert. I should have stopped, this was terrible, it looked like someone dumped a can of peaches in syrup over raw dough...it tasted just the same. Such a let down with everything else being at the very least good.

I walked in planning to spend maybe 20 minutes max just to buy a few souvenirs, snacks, and a few things to take home to my kids and family. Shortly after I walked in, I was approached and told I wasn't allowed to be there because I came in a semi truck. I explained that I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to buy a few items, but I was told they would not allow me to purchase anything. I was also told, "Unfortunately truckers are not welcome." Those were his exact words. That was extremely disappointing to hear. Truck drivers are a huge part of what keeps this country moving. We deliver the products businesses sell every single day, including the products sitting on Buc-ee's shelves. To be told we're not welcome and not even allowed to make a purchase is sad and frustrating. Because of this experience, I will never return to Buc-ee's again, not even in my personal vehicle. I'd much rather spend my money at a truck stop or any business that welcomes everyone and appreciates the people who help keep America moving.
