This building in Davis sits on a corner and is hot pink, so you can't miss it. They have outdoor, covered seating that was very enjoyable with today's great weather. Upon arrival, my first time here I peered into the interior of the restaurant to see if my relative had arrived. I was immediately greeted by a very nice young man behind the counter. I exited the building and sat down at one of their exterior tables so my cousin could easily spot me, and the same very nice young man came out and brought me a menu to review while I was waiting for my cousin to arrive. Once she arrived, we went inside and ordered our meals, and returned to their outside seating. They have an open chips and salsa bar which was great as we waited for our meals. A short while later, another nice young man (with braids) came out to clear the table and offer drink refills. They were both very kind, accommodating and engaging. It's very nice to have great customer service from these gentlemen. We had a lovely lunch, and I would return.

But don't let that stop you. The food is excellent and it's worth taking the time to figure out your order. A few dishes I'd point you toward: the Fajita plate, the Al Pastor plate, and the Quesabirria Tacos are all worth ordering. On my first visit I had what I believe is called the Milpas Salad which was great, but I don't see it on the menu anymore. Great chips and salsa bar too. Great outdoor seating for nice days, and dog-friendly. Already my go-to for Mexican food in town. Love all the artwork on the walls too.

Unlike a lot of other places, this one adds beans to their breakfast burrito. You can get your choice of beans, but I was in the mood for refried which went really well with the chorizo. Service was fast, the burrito was hot, and it was sliced in half just as I asked. When I'm there closer to noon or dinner time, I'll get a carnitas super burrito. It's also really good! There's a salsa bar so you can load up on your choice salsas and chips to munch on. Overall I think this place deserves a high rating. They aren't the cheapest taqueria, but the food is solid and worth the price. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

During my visit, I experienced several uncomfortable situation with the way I was treated by the woman with her hair tied back and wearing clear-framed glasses. I assume she is in charge, given how non-chalant she seemed acting with disrespect. She was extremely rude from the very beginning. She looked unfriendly from the moment I walked in and immediately started speaking to me only in Spanish, even though I responded in English. I didn't appreciate that she assumed I spoke Spanish simply because of my appearance. She had no patience whats so ever, while taking my order. I felt completely ignored. She seemed frustrated, and every time I asked a questions, she would respond with, "Do you want anything else?" With an attitude. When she brought me my plate, I noticed that one of her long fingernails touched my food. To make matters worse, before I had even finished eating, she took my plate away . I hope this establishment takes situations like this seriously and promotes a healthy environment where respect and humility are a priority.
