    Spicy Tuna Wrap
    Joseph R.

Arrived here on a Saturday at roughly 1145AM. Immediately observed quite a few patrons and a good amount of seating and vibrant decor. We were immediately greeted - I ordered a Spicy tuna wrap to go. Surprisingly, the order came out within 5 minutes which was appreciated. Gave me a chance to take a few bites prior to an event I was attending at 12PM. MAN it was delicious! The portions are well worth the price. It was so good, I plan to go out of my way and grab another in a week or two. I'm sold. Ya'll need to open one up in the Roseville area - I'll be a regular! Thanks!

Food: 9/10 Service:10/10 Ambiance: 7.5/10 The sushirito is the reason I came here and it did not disappoint. The person helping me substituted everything I wanted and personalized the sushi burrito exactly how I wanted. So much flavor! Loved the wasabi and ginger on the side too.

I got the 4 Flavors family meal for like $52. You get 4 different poke choices at 1/4 lb each. My favorites were the salmon bomb and furikake bomb ahi. It fed my family of 4. This place is the closest thing to real Hawaiian poke. Service was fast. The worker gave us good recommendations since it was our first time. Location is good and parking wasn't too tough to find on the street. The store had plenty of seating. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Davis.

    Poke bowl, Kali style

Stopped here for a quick lunch while my pup was at the vet. I ordered a Poke bowl, with half traditional ahi and half spicy ahi, "Kali style". The fish tasted fresh, and the flavors of the "Kali style" complimented each other well. I especially liked the flavor from the wonton chips, which added a nice crunch and were fun to eat with the poke on top. The cucumbers, however, were a miss for me. The flavors didn't quite work with the rest of the bowl, and I would have much prefered fresh cucumbers. Overall it was a satisfying meal with a decent portion for the price.

Poke was really fresh and the portions were very generous. This would be one of the better quick grab poke restaurants around the area. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars was because poke was just regular and nothing that stood out. But I would definitely recommend this place if you want some poke.

Loaded poke bowl. Huge bowl! The photo doesn't do the size justice.

I dined in with a party of 7 on a Saturday afternoon and it was filled with patrons, which is a great sign to me. The staff greeted everyone who entered the store. They were extremely kind and helpful with our large order. We didn't wait long for our food to come out. Clean restaurant with large dining tables and high top tables. The line area does get a bit congested, especially if you're using the fountain soda machine. If you're waiting on your to go order, and there are no free tables, you're kind of just standing around trying not to get in the way of people walking in/out of the restaurant. I wasn't a fan of the shrimp tempura, but everything else tasted great. We all can't wait to go back to try other menu items and poke flavors.

Haven't been here in a couple years, but they still have tons of delicious poke options! I also don't remember their poke bowls being so big, but it was a generous amount of food and no shortage of toppings. I really liked the poke that I picked, but my only complaint is the actual cuts of fish had too much of the muscle left. The pieces with those were too chewy. Service was really great though and the food came out super fast. The teriyaki chicken plate was a very generous amount and lasted for two meals for both our kids so I definitely liked that! The prices are still very fair here compared to other poke places so I highly recommend coming here.

One of the best poke spots around! The bowls are huge, packed with fresh ingredients, and definitely worth the price. They don't skimp on the portions, so you leave feeling full and satisfied. Everything tasted fresh, the toppings were plentiful, and the flavors were amazing! The service was great and they were very patient when answering questions. There's lots of seating and plenty of tables to sit with friends.

Friendly service and plenty of tasty options in downtown Davis! Went here for an early Thursday dinner with my husband. We were excited to try it since it had many great reviews and the pictures made the food look delicious. There's street parking around the restaurant. Inside, you stand in line and say your order once you reach the register. They call your name when your order is ready. They had 6 or 7 tables from what I remember with high chair and regular chair options. You can get a cup of water for free. Utensils are on the tables. Here's what we ordered: * Poke bowl with 2 protein choices $14.25 - Note, you can opt to do a small bowl option with 1 choice of protein. You can add toppings for $1 each or pay for their topping combos. We found this poke bowl to not be the best value since no toppings were included in the price of the bowel. My husband was not a huge fan of the fish and said it did not taste like the poke he used to eat growing up in Hawaii. He said it was lacking Hawaiian salt. * Soft shell crab sushi wrap $16.50 - Huge sushi wrap split in two! This was delicious and had a good amount of soft shell crab in it. It tasted like a handheld sushi roll with soft shell crab. I loved it. I ate half in the restaurant and then reheated the other half at home the next day. I enjoyed this a lot and would order this again! I'm giving 4 stars since I don't think the poke bowl is the best value compared to other poke bowl places I've visited, but I loved the sushi wrap and highly recommend it for a filling meal. I plan to come back sometime and try the sashimi sushi wrap, one of the bowls, or the poke nachos.

Poke place with a large variety of fresh fish options and very deliciously marinated. Their ordering method is a little different than other poke places. You first choose the size of your bowl, your scoops of fish, and a "style". The style includes a certain amount of toppings and sauces that you definitely want to add to your bowl. They also have wonton chips which I feel is a little more unique. Very large portion sizes and delicious ingredients. Employees are also all very nice, friendly, and patient. Definitely worth a 2 hour drive to!

We have been wanting to try this place after scoping out all the good eats in the area. My daughter will be attending Davis so have been exploring the area. This cute little gem did not disappoint! The poke was fresh and was reminiscent of Hawaii. My daughter got the poke bowl with 2 types of ahi, I got a zesty salmon burrito, hubs got the chicken teriyaki bowl. After a few minutes our food was ready. Staff were friendly and helpful offering samples. The portions were so generous and prices were very reasonable. For 3 meals and 3 drinks it came up to about $50. Food was filling, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend if craving fresh poke. We met Monica the owner. She was so sweet and friendly, made us feel at home. Please support this family business, truly a gem and we will definitely be back again.

So one thing that should be clear is this is not a "build your own" poke place like other local traditional offerings. I did not know this going in. For $15 you get a bowl of JUST rice and fish with additional upgrades available for an additional cost but no customization. The service was great but my bowl was severely lacking for the cost and it wasn't super clear at the counter this was the case. I had thought I would order and receive the option to add on to my bowl. For $5+ more you can select options that get closer to a poke bowl with topping and add ons. (I noticed at the end of my meal a small white board to the left noting that you can customize for an additional $1 per topping and sauces but this was never mentioned at the register) The fish was okay (spicy salmon) with flavoring and green onion but the rice was hard and crunchy, from I'm assuming sitting out too long or in the rice cooker for extended period of time.

Solid spot. I would rate it the best in sac county personally. Honest rating is a 7.9/10 for flavor and overall if comparing it to Hawaii. Cant get better Hawaiian style tho in this area so 5/5 stars for it being the best. Workers are super nice and friendly. Probably college kids but yeah they give samples and good recommendations. You can do add ons for toppings but I just like it with the marinade over rice personally. Maybe add green onions or seaweed I've been back once since when I was around Davis and would come back

Do they have gluten free options?

It's fish, rice, and veggies. There may be gluten in some of the sauces, but they had a lot of options.

Which chicken bowl is the spiciest? And how spicy is it? I'm looking for something strong

The Hawaiian Spicy Chicken is their spiciest offering for chicken. It's not very hot though, it has some good kick to it though. Maybe they'll make it hotter for you though, just ask

I can't find any information on the sourcing of their fish. Is it wild caught?

Shout out for West Sacramento…read more.. Did you know that right in West Sacramento there is a seafood stand selling fresh sustainable caught hook n line fish plucked from the Bodega Bay? Well know you do... Ferrari Fisheries has a stand that sells black cod, ling cod, red snapper which all are year round catches; and seasonal Dungeness crab and salmon. When they have a fresh caught batch; they text their customers what is available catch, and time & date. To get their text notifications; you can sign up on their website. I was fortunate enough to get to their stand early enough on a notification day to buy a couple of Dungeness crabs. The crabs were live, priced at $11/pound. Awesome price! When you get to the stand, there are two lines. The first line you want to get into is the one nearest the big containers where the fish on ice or crabs are kept. If you want your fish filleted, let them know. It is a complimentary service. Then you head into the other line to pay. They take cash and card, I'm not sure about other payment types. Keep in mind, the inventory sells quickly especially the seasonal items. Folks queue up earlier than the opening time stated in the texts. The start time was 10am; I got there at 10:20 am. They sold out as I was leaving the stand. Anthony (owner and fishing captain), his wife, and team are terrific. They all were helpful and had the best attitudes. Welcoming. I'm sure they answer the same questions over and over. But when talking with each customer, they were engaged and provided individual attention. Top notch customer service!

My favorite thing about lunch today (5/7/26) was the service. The food was good, but the service was excellent. Upon arrival, my first time here I peered into the interior of the restaurant to see if my relative had arrived. I was immediately greeted by a very nice young man behind the counter. I exited the building and sat down at one of their exterior tables so my cousin could easily spot me, and the same very nice young man came out and brought me a menu to review while I was waiting for my cousin to arrive. A short while later, another nice young man (with braids) came out to clear the table and offer drink refills. They were both very kind, accommodating and engaging. Great spicy food and friendly staff. Food (10/10) - The food here is AMAZING! Perfect balance of spice to flavor and every single bite is electric. The sichuan numbing pepper in the Chongqing soup was DELICIOUS. Mix it with some of the white rice and you have a dish all by iteself. The chicken itself had a nice chew and was very fragrant. Loved the texture and flaovr of the vermicelli; nice bounce to the noodles while soaking in all the spicy soup. My one complaint would be that they have soft bones (sign of long boiling time) so be careful of that! Also got the spicy stir-fried pork kidney... don't diss it 'til you try it. Super good, with that nice bit of chew. Take a bite of pepper, kidney, and white rice and BOOM! Perfect bite. **Recommendation: Rice is a key component for the dishes here. Without rice, everything will be too spicy, too savory, and overall too overwhelming. The rice is the thing that helps tie everything together (as it frequently is) Service (8/10) - Good service; nothing notable. Nice people and I think most of them speak Mandarin. Service and seating was also fast. Order of things to come out of the kitchen was a bit strange: soup for the chicken, rice, stir-fry, chicken. Honestly, not that big of a problem but just decided to comment. Price (8/10) - The price here is a bit on the pricier side; $54 for 2 but there were some leftovers (had to make my own rice though). Some of the dishes are more worth than others. The Chonqing chicken was $25 but you got a large bowl of chicken with soup and vermicelli. On the other hand, the stir-fry for $20 was notably padded with vegetables and I would say a majority of the dish was not the kidney. At the very least, the taste of the food compensates. However, this place is likely not a college go-to. Overall, great restaurant that I will be coming back to again (maybe with my parents LOL) or at the very least, would come with a large group as it is more fitting for family style. Highly recommend!
