I asked for a quote online and I received a call after work the next day. Ty's assistant was very pleasant and professional that I didn't mind getting quoted and dealing with the 405's traffic on the way home. I would have given these guys a zero star if I could. I have been a member for a while and they kept increasing my rates. When I sent in my cancelation notice, they chose to ignore my request and continued to harass me with "past due" invoices and annoying phone calls. They are prompt to take your money, but when they can't, they would choose to harass you! When I final talked to Ty Robertson, he was too busy talking instead of listening to my concerns. I have been with this group for a few years now... I recently got a new car (the same car as my previous policy but one year newer) my rates jumped significantly, I am a good driver with no violations yet every year without fail my rates for both my car and renters insurance increased. The staff does not communicate, I leave messages or send emails and I always had to follow up with them, they never contacted me unless it was to sell me more insurance. I am COMPLETELY turned off by Farmers insurance just based on this agency.... Run, Run away - as fast as you can... they are rude and dismissive to their customers. read more

When I decided to cancel my policy because i had found a better rate with another insurance company, Magally Hernandez made this process a complete nightmare. First she asked me to submit a cancellation form with my information, date, cancellation reasons and signature, which i had no problem submitting that, then she started coming up with all type of none sense things such as the form I had submitted could not be processed with my e-signature. We are in a century where technology is on top of everything and these ignorant agents denied the document with my e-signature. they wanted me to print the form, use black ink pen and fax it to them, SERIOUSLY! I work 12 to 15 hour shifts a day as a driver I have no time to get to a printer and a fax machine to satisfied their demands. then she came up with a $50.00 dollar cancellation fee, (this insurance group is not any good to lower your monthly policy rate but they are excellent to come up with fees and hidden fees just to make their end of the year bonus check bigger). I was so upset going through all this consumer abuse, just because i decided to cancel and go with a better much better company and save some money too. I had to contact Ty Roberson the apparently manager of this fraudulent insurance business to speed up this cancellation and once and for all get myself out of this rip off insurance policy. I also asked him to waive the cancellation fee as a courtesy for my two year business with them, to which he reply, "I have no authority to waive any fees my apologies." I guess there is no need of a manager when he has no authority to overwrite a simple fee, right? what is he there for? I decided no to argue with him about the fee, my reply was "You can have the money just please cancel my policy." it took another business day for me to get this done, after all I was the one supposed to call their cancellations department to find out if they had received the form or if i had to re-submit it, what a joke of insurance business and inefficient staff, I was the one paying and making them a pay check, I deserved a efficient and proactive costumer services but all i got was an upsetting taste of this bristol west joke, scam insurance... My advice to you is, shop around find the best deal possible to your pocket do not let this places like bristol west rip you off and upset you with their bad service. read more

Jr. Mendoza is the Agent that signed me up with Farmers Insurance and when he signed me up, I explained to him that my car had an after market radio, t.v. headrest monitors, etc. I asked him if he needed to take pictures of my car or anything in it, and he said "no you're good we got you covered". Now after my car was broken into and everything was stolen, now they haven't covered anything because Junior Mendoza neglected to mention anything about an extra coverage for after market equipment. So after going on 4 months now of going back and forth between corporate and the employees at this here farmer's. Farmers here in Costa mesa claiming corporate handled error and ommision's. Tyshon Robertson has finally owned up and decided to TEXT me the "error and omission" phone number. I feel it is out right rediculus that this has taken so long and with such denial from the employees; Junior Mendoza and Tyshon Robertson the most; after many of the employees said they would personally get the number for me and call me back (which no one had followed through with). If you look up Tyshon Robertson online... and I quote, "As your personal Farmers Agent located in Costa Mesa, I believe of keeping you informed of ways to protect what's important to you...".
