I go to this donut place at least twice a month. They are absolutely wonderful. They have fresh donuts, fresh coffee, and a wonderful smile. I absolutely love the employees at the store and their donuts. The store is clean and wonderful if you want good donuts here you'll love it.

Everybody has a place. Comfort food, warmth, a friendly atmosphere, meetup for friends - delicious donuts. Tyler's Donut House, is that place for us. The owner's friendly demeanor and welcoming smile surrounded by the delicious fresh baked aroma from a variety of freshly made donuts, is like a visit to a friend's home for breakfast.

Stopped by Tyler's Donut House this morning around 10:45 a.m., Wednesday 24 May 2023. There was one group leaving and one group sitting inside. The store front sign reads Tyler's Donuts and the branding on the door has the name Tyler's Donut House with other business info. Inside the entrance is the donut display case (on the right) with prices for offerings posted on the wall above and behind the case. Looking over the options, I went with a plain buttermilk bar donut for myself and a blueberry fritter for my parents. It was the last of each in the display case. The worker who helped me was upbeat and professional, even asking if I wanted a plain buttermilk bar when it was the last one in the case. The total came to $4.94 with tax. I paid with five $1 bills, tipping the change plus another dollar bill. Both donuts were delicious. I ate the plain buttermilk bar in one go and my parents let me have a pinch of theirs. The texture of both donuts was more towards the dense end of a fluffy to dense spectrum. I enjoyed this as it made each bite satisfying on its own. The flavor of the buttermilk bar was subtle and worked well without a glaze, frosting, or icing. The blueberry fritter was sweeter and the glaze not too thick.

Found this place while visiting the excellent bakery across the parking lot. Fresh donuts and a huge selection. Friendly service. What more can you ask. Some of the best donuts around. Will definitely return when in the area and in the mood for donuts.

Super good donuts! One of my favorite donut places in town! My one complaint is that they always seem to sell out of the good stuff super early and every time I've been there they never have enough. But the quality is fantastic and they seem to be super fresh, some times still a bit warm. read more

We got donuts here while visiting from out of town. They were great. The only thing that was lacking is the variety. I didnt try the donut holes, but thought it was interesting that they offered them. Overall they were really good donuts. read more

Tyler's donuts is one of my favorites in south end area. The only thing is, is that they sell out of the good donuts really early. (I blame the Boeing employees) they close in the afternoon so DEFINITELY get their early-I suggest before 730. My favorite donuts from Tyler's are the French cruellers. Idk what they do differently but it's tasty! If you don't leave with anything, at LEAST leave with a dozen donut holes. They are my favorite and melt in your mouth to die for. They use the raised glaze donut holes and they are fantastic. But again, they sell quickly so get them while you can! read more

This place makes fresh old fashioned donuts. Remember back in the 70's/80's when grocery stores made awesome donuts? Well this place reminds me of those. I drive quite a ways to get donuts from Tylers Donut House. Love them! read more

Delicious, fluffy donuts. Best in area. You get a free donut for every half dozen Price isnt bad. Have to show up early for the good stuff. My favorite is the crumb. I love boston creme filled donuts but their custard or filling taste like plastic. Yuk. read more

Tyler is super friendly and hard working. His doughnuts are just to die for. We swung by at 4 pm Thursday not realizing he was open till 4.30 pm, almost everything was sold out but I scored and got his last jam filled, and we ended up buying a half dozen mixed, with maple bars, cinnamon rounds and he threw in a free one. If it's all about the donuts for you, go to Tyler's. Be nice and he'll treat you right. Bear claw and apple fritter last time were still soft three days later and just delicious. read more

I think the owner works the majority of the time and he is really nice and treats his customers well. I usually purchase a few dozen at a time for business relationships and he always has well over enough made (their fresh!) and gives me a really good deal AND his donuts are probably the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend this donut shop. read more

Horrible horrible experience here. Everything started out great, got a great deal on half a dozen donuts. Sat down, started to enjoy my glazed cinnamon roll. Then when I went to pull it apart not one but TWO earwig bugs came out. STILL ALIVE! And all the employee had to say when I showed him. Was "huh, really? I just made these this morning" I would of given this review 2 stars. But all he did was offer me another donut of the same kind! No I don't want another donut that probably has bugs in it as well. The right thing to do is give me my money back and clean out your donut display case. Instead of standing there stupid and not fixing the problem. read more

Compared to Henry's Donuts I think Tyler's Donuts is more delicious. The donuts are nice and soft. I've only been here several times and usually a lot of things are out. It's better to get them in the morning if you're looking for more varieties. Also, Tyler is friendly and doesn't hesitate to make conversation. read more

Great donuts. Live the donut holes the best. $1.50 for a dozen and they are so soft and delicious. First time going we had to buy a dozen. They're was not one that me and the kids did not like. Definitely be coming back for some more. read more

I came here with my daughter on a Sunday morning for donuts. I found a large selection of donuts, coffee and various other beverages. We each got a maple bar to eat on site plus a couple more to take home & share...... the maple bars were still slightly warm and extremely fresh...... delicious. The coffee was nice & hot. To top it off, the man who assisted is (who seemed like the owner) was super friendly. I will definitely return. read more

I thought the donuts were actually pretty awful. Maybe I went there on an off day? It was a weekday, later afternoon. I ordered two cake donuts with chocolate icing. They tasted like plastic. I was only able to eat one bite and then I threw the rest of them away. Seriously gross. I give the place 2 stars because the guy was nice enough and the shop seemed nice. Maybe I got the wrong kind of donut on the wrong day or something. *shrug* read more

OMG...the maple bars! This place is great. It has a large variety of donuts and the prices are very reasonable. The maple bars and apple fritters are especially delicious. The blueberry fritters are also very yummy. No order is complete without some donut holes as well. read more

Been searching for the best maple bars in the Greater Seattle area. Agree with previous reviewer... Way better than Top Pot, Frost, etc. The dough has. Great soft chew to it, the maple glaze is the right balance of sweetness without being too thick. The maple Bismarck (cake bar) was the best I've ever had. The flavor and texture was spot on and different enough from other doughnut shops you can taste the difference. Glad to discover this place! read more

Dang there's a lot of donut shops out there and as I like donuts, it's a simple fact that I've visited quite a few of them. I found out about Tyler's Donuts when one of the local newspapers did a donut shop review. As I remember Tyler's wasn't even on the list and yet it was named by various reviewers as a top donut shop. So I decided to take a look as I go down Hwy 99 almost every day. Here's my feedback: this is maybe the best donut shop I have ever visited. The cake donuts are light and fluffy. There is a decent amount of filling in the filled donuts. The regular frosting is perfect - not too sweet with a hint of vanilla and it cracks when you bite into it - it doesn't smear. The chocolate is...well...deeply chocolately. My first apple fritter could have had a little more apple in it. However, when I noted it to the manager, he just gave me another which had enough apple. The donuts also pass the spring test - when you pinch the dough a little, it should spring back. Tyler's donuts do! Last, the guy who runs the shop is friendly and willing to discuss the merits of different kinds of donuts. Did I mention that the regular donuts are a buck and a nickle? Great tasting and reasonably priced! BTW go early for the best selection. read more

Surprisingly good. I had a blueberry filled, a buttermilk, a regular glazed, and a glazed rope. They were all super fresh, light, and not over-sweetened. I don't know how he's able to make donuts taste so good... read more

Then owner here is very nice and seems very happy to be there assisting you. Every time I come in, there is a large selection of doughnuts. That first bite is like magic, soft, light not too sweet perfection! Sometimes they are still warm. I've never gotten a bad doughnut ever! Prices are even better then the over priced rude places I've been too! Come on in you won't regret it! read more

These are by far the best donuts I have had in the area! You want to make sure that you get there early because the donuts sell fast. The last time I went, they didn't have much left, and this was around 10 A.M. Now for the best part, there is a PokeStop in the area that you can pick up from inside the shop. I usually just sit there, eat my donut with some coffee, activate a lure and have a good time. read more

Got a dozen donuts that were generally very high quality and given notes below. Maple Bar: 5/5 perfect texture and really clear syrup flavor that rarely comes through in maple bars. The best maple bar i've had in the state. Apple Fritter: 2.5/5 for being a prominent part of the store's branding with the whole "giant sized fritters" thing it is okay. Nice crunch and softness without hardness but needed more apples. Raspberry Fritter: 2.5/5 same as above. since neither this or the apple have enough fruit chunks to come through the only difference is that this is sweeter if thats your thing. Chocolate Bar/Donut: 4/5 I dont like chocolate donuts but their frosting has a really rich fudge taste that people who do like this type will appreciate. Likewise good texture to the maple bars Jelly Filled Glazed: 5/5 their glazes are really fine and light which makes them very pleasant to eat and the jelly isn't as sweet as typical Jelly-filleds which means you really taste the berries. The mochi donuts were nicely chewy but a little oily. Good for fast take out and hits the spot.

When I arrived on Wednesday during their posted business hours (9 AM), the bakery was unexpectedly closed with a sign saying "Sorry, we have sold out, we are closed!" Their voicemail and website then stated they would also be closed for the next two days. What's most disappointing is that I received absolutely no phone call or notice that my prepaid order would not be fulfilled. For a business handling special occasion orders, failing to contact customers about canceled or unfulfilled orders is extremely unprofessional. I didn't even get a refund for my order, will need to do a charge back on my card now.

It's normally easy to get seated quickly and servers are attentive, even though they can be a little stretched thin during busier times. Overall, it's a blessing and a curse that I don't live closer. A blessing because I'd spend all my money here and weigh double. A curse because I think I might be okay with that.

We ended up ordering both Inihaw Plates, one with Beef BBQ Ribs and the other one with Chicken BBQ. The plates came with our meat of choice, mac salad, a little salad, and two scoops of rice. I wasn't expecting much but I was wowed when they brought our food out. Presentation was gorgeous. Our ribs and chicken looked pretty good, saucy and plentiful altogether as an entree. When I had that first bite of the Beef BBQ Rib, I was floored. I'm pretty sure I took one bite and was just speechless, I'm not trying to exaggerate. The beef ribs were flavorful, juicy, tender, and fell right off the bone. I couldn't ask for anything more. The mac salad was good, it didn't taste like the mayo was too heavy for me. It tasted nice and light. And I had a couple bites of the Chicken BBQ, it was just as delicious as the beef ribs. Also the portion size was amazing. I think I'm a little partial, but the Beef BBQ Ribs definitely altered my brain chemistry. They were that delicious and I'll be thinking about these ribs for a long time. It felt like I was back home at a Filipino barbecue or I was in Hawaii eating at an uncle's backyard. It truly felt like the meat was grilling out in the back and we ate it fresh out the grill. It was absolutely wonderful and I'll be raving about this place to people for a while. Y'all deserve all the stars and love. And the music playing? Loved it, they were already on my island music playlist lol. We had an unforgettable experience. This place is a must try if you're in the area and even if you're not in the area as well. Becca clearly knows her craft--each drink was well‑balanced, creative, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell there's real attention to detail and pride behind the bar. If you're on the fence about trying something custom, absolutely do it--you won't be disappointed. The food paired perfectly with the cocktails and rounded out a great overall experience. Between the quality of the drinks, the solid food, and the excellent service, Bluewater Distillery delivered across the board. Back to my crushed dreams of a patio-lunch-in-the-sun... a party of 4 was seated at the large picnic table (1 body more than us, and both parties couldve split the table its that spacious), AND they pulled a table from the other side of the patio and put it in the sunny spot we asked to sit in towards the end of our time there. As a service industry person myself, I wouldnt be so quick to offer an inside table instead of being minutely inconvenienced (we offered to move the table ourselves as well to be helpful), with a couple of 2-tops outside and 2 inside - they were not busy. Overall, not earth shattering, but neither was the food or drinks in comparison to the experience and bill sadly.
