I came here during the SuperBowl day last weekend! There was hardly anyone here and felt relieved and great that there wasn't a huge line or crowd of ppl! They were doing a special game day price for a dozen donuts at 15% off. I did ask if they could do half a dozen and it only applied for a dozen so I went ahead and got it! I also tried their bubble waffle for the first time that is affiliated with Happy Lemon. It was pretty good, chocolate flavored. I also tried their crispy potato corn dog and that was pretty delicious too! I love corn dogs! The game day dozen was a hit for the Super Bowl gathering! The shift manager was super nice and gave me a bag to easily transport my purchases. I was craving boba one day at work and found Happy Lemon nearby but together with Mochinut! Boba and mochi donuts at work? Heck yes! The location we ordered from is the one in Edmonds. We had the orders delivered so not too sure about the parking situation and interior of the place. But it seems like Mochinut and Happy Lemon are together as one at this location! I got the Ube Black Milk Tea with Taro Balls with my usual 50% sweetness. The drink looked soooo good! There was a ton of ube walls around the milk tea with an ample amount of taro balls. The drink itself was good too! It wasn't too sweet, and I could taste the tea essence of the milk tea. The taro The one downside was that the top wasn't full sealed, so it spilled quite a bit. Saaad. We also ordered three mochi donuts: Cinnamon, Red Velvet, and Green Tea Oreo. Sweet (a bit too sweet for me) and delicious! They were fluffy and chewy. The flavors weren't that strong; just sweet. I thought the green tea would be a strongish flavor but it was super mild and all I could taste was just sweet. Great little snack to have on the side! I absolutely love the mango lemonade here. I go out of my way to go here. I went on a whim in Seattle got stuck in traffic and ran in got the mango lemonade with lychee jelly. I hate boba so I was nervous but everything was delicious and I fell in love with the lemonade so much that I make my boyfriend go out of his way to get it. The mochi donuts are beyond delicious and I rarely need more than one to satisfy my hunger. Which is amazing plus the flavors are complex and interesting something way more delicious than some other donut places. But then we went to The Edmonds location and got the rice hot dogs, potato hotdogs and cheese ones they were all amazing and what we didn't eat right away heated up in the air fryer just like they had come from the restaurant. They are open late and I can order online so it's perfect even if you are busy. The parking lot sucks but it's worth it for the restaurant. I normally don't really visit the same place twice (I tried Mochinut in SLU in the past), but this is an exception as the company paid for it, so I gave this a second try. That day, they only had 4 flavors: chocolate nutella, taro, churro, and pineapple with basil. Considering that a half dozen is the most aesthetic, they should have 6 flavors. Maybe it's the afternoon so they ran out of some, so keep that in mind before making a visit later in the day. What's good about this place is that you can order a smaller portion than half dozen: the 3 donut box order which is easier to share with a smaller group. I'd say that the quality is similar and consistent with that in the SLU location, so it was decent. I really enjoyed the taro flavor a lot. To be more precise, this place is a bit better than the one in SLU. Here, they have Chungchun Korean corn dogs and the Mochinut is inside a Happy Lemon - perfect opportunity to load up on sweets! read more

I came into this store that is beautifully decorated fully aware that they sell both mochinut and happy lemon menus... or so I thought. I was excited and expected to get my drink from mochinut and bubble waffles from happy lemon once I learned they also sell happy lemon. Unfortunately I was wrong, they only sell donuts from mochinut and that's it. They only sell the whole menu from happy lemon which is ridiculous because why sell mochinut if you're not selling everything? You can't just pick and choose. I ended up not getting anything. From what I've read in other reviews, it appears that you had this collaboration for a long time so I'm not quite sure why this place hasn't improved to have BOTH whole menus yet but I hope you do so you don't disappoint other customers. There's plenty of parking so that's a plus. Their box is labeled MOCHINUT - "more than just a donut." Love loved this Mochi-Nut! Interesting shape makes it easier to eat. Circular and scalloped. You can easily tare and share a piece. Tasted so good, soft like a donut but chew a bit like Mochi (not too chewy) though. But it's a must try when you come to Seattle! They have flavors like Nutella w/almonds, raspberry, Taro, Churro, and fruity pebbles! These flavors might be seasonal, they were the only ones available at the time. I also had Taro (Ube) milk tea with boba! Also very good but I felt their boba was a little under cooked. They also have waffles and Rice hotdogs which I did not get to try! This was my first visit to a Korean hot dog place and my first time trying mochi donuts, so I was very excited! I brought my mom with me and she was a little confused about what and how to order, but the service was great! The employee ringing up our order was really kind and patient, he explained all the different types of corn dogs to us. We got the biscoff mochi donut, a potato half and half, and an original half and half. I also got a winter melon bubble tea. It was all really tasty! Mochinut and Happy Lemon are one and the same, located in a busy strip mall at the intersection of 220th and Highway 99. I have had a craving for mochinuts for weeks but each time I've stopped by the store was ridiculously busy so I passed--this intensifying my craving over time! Pro tip: if you want to avoid crowds, don't come here after work or on the weekends or even around lunchtime! I stopped by on my way home on a Monday at 2pm. There were thankfully only 2 people ahead of me in line. I noticed that they don't have a sign to indicate what kind of mochinuts they have for the day, but they do post them on social media. It isn't until you get to the front of the line that you see the display right by the cash register. A friendly worker took my order. I chose 1. Ube Snow (ube with coconut flakes) 2. Dirty Matcha (I think this was a mix of matcha powder topped with dark cocoa powder) and 3. Nutella Almond. I also got a half and half chungchun hotdog on a stick. Devoured the hotdog because it was past my lunchtime and enjoyed the gooeyness of the mozzarella half--I don't know how they do it but it was gooey AND not hellishly hot. The temperature was perfect. I also like that they don't overdo it on the sugar coating like other places seem to do. Got home and split each mochinut to share so other family could try. I loved the flavor of each one but the Nutella and Ube Snow were tied for number one. I'm not a fan of matcha unless it's in a drink or an ice cream, so the powder (along with the cocoa powder) wasn't my fav, but it was still tasty. I've been trying to replicate the recipe for mochinuts at home but so far haven't had much luck. The mouthfeel of these donuts is so satisfying. One recommendation I have for the business is that they could post the flavors closer to the beginning of the line so you know what you want to order in advance. Also, I wish they had a dedicated line and mor organization for order pick ups. It gets so busy that no matter what, there is no advantage to ordering ahead of time because you have to wait in line to pick up. Lastly, I didn't get bubble tea this time but the Happy Lemon portion of the business serves it (it's not separate from Mochinut--same cash register). The mochi donuts are honestly pretty amazing. Crunchy on the outside but super chewy on the inside. My favorite flavor was the Vietnamese coffee, but cookies & creme was great too. You can grab a box of 3 for a little under $10. The reason for 3 stars is because it took almost 45 minutes to get these donuts. There was a decent line when I showed up, maybe 8-9 people ahead of me, but it was taking a really long time between customer orders because the person at the register was also having to go back in the kitchen and box up GrubHub orders. By the time i got to the front of the line, i waited at least 5 minutes before anyone even took my order, and the same thing happened with the couple in front of me. It wasn't their fault, I think they're just understaffed, but no matter how good the donuts are I can't justify waiting in line that long. My family and I have been looking at an excuse to stop by Mochinut and yesterday we found ourselves in Edmonds. So we stopped by and gave it a try. We should have done this earlier. Talk about tasty, these donuts are off the chart. First off you can not approach them thinking you are going to a regular donut shop. These are different but in a good way. The texture something between a mochi and a cake donut. So it has an ever so slight snap to it (best way I can describe it). It's unique, but don't expect it to be a traditional donut. So I didn't know this place was a 3 in 1!!!! A Korean corn dog, happy lemon and mochi donuts!! From the street view it only says happy lemon but on the other side it's mochi nut: when you go inside it is amazing! It so much bigger than I expected. They have a cute little wall where you can take your photos. But they also have the Korean dogs, bubble tea and a cute yellow box of donuts. The different flavor of mochinuts were simply different frosting that they slathered on the top of the donut (not even infused).
