I went here one morning with my 4 year old son. We were carrying a large load of groceries. Tired and hungry, I thought it would be a nice way of taking a break while getting a bite to eat. I can't say the donuts were exceptionally good but the man at the shop was very friendly. He noticed my situation and made sure everything was alright. We chit-chatted a bit more and it seemed he truly cared, wasn't at all like the typical small talk. People were coming in and out like crazy. Lots of regulars from what I saw. read more

We did not have a good experience. The lady who works there just stared at us while we were looking, never even said hello. None of the doughnuts were labeled with a name/type. We wanted to sit down and eat, however every single table in there was dirty (yet no one inside). read more

I've been here twice and the donuts speak for themselves! Certainly the décor isn't like other places, but thankfully their focus is on their donuts! What you see in the photos here is their offering, a narrow but tasty selection. Service is prompt and quick, even though the staff person was engaged in watching movies on a computer on my recent visit. Tables and chairs could be cleaned better but you'll not be disappointed with the donuts! I've lost over 25 pounds in the last month and have not splurged once. But if you're going to take on some extra calories this is the place to do it. I've had a lot of donuts in my day, but without question these are the best I've ever had. Really! I had a couple of hours to waste while waiting for a local tour at the Boeing factory. I found myself at Tyler's donuts, and I am so glad I did. If you're looking for a doughnut, however far you have to drive, this is the place to come. These are the lightest, fluffiest, best flavored and moist doughnut that I have ever, ever had. Darn it! I'll be coming back right after this tour is over. So much for my diet. read more

I'm a little perturbed now - the doughnuts are still the best around, but they're always cleaned out now. It's obvious why - a good product is in high demand. But I think they're having trouble scaling their business up to success. Today I went in at 7:45 and their case was about 80% empty! Not only that, but 4 times in a row now, I been there before 8AM and they were out of doughnut holes and mostly cleaned out of their other doughnuts. 8AM! What I think the owner is failing to realize is that, while he doesn't make a lot of profit on the doughnut holes, that is what gets me through the door. I can drive down the street and buy Top Pot for less money, and when I walk through and see no doughnut holes, I usually leave and do just that. I buy doughnuts on a very regular basis for my department at work, so that's a lot of lost revenue just from me. The doughnuts are still so amazing that I'll keep going every now and then, but if he doesn't scale up his production to match his growth, he's going to alienate customers that show up in the early morning to an empty case. read more

I'm not sure if what I experienced happens everyday here, or just because it was Sunday. Let me explain. I came here with some friends on Sunday, about 11am (and I know people usually get donuts earlier in the morning, and not around noon, but we're all between 21 and 23 years of age, and 11am is morning on a Sunday) Non the less the shop is open till 3pm on Sundays, but they literally had 3 types of donuts left to choose from. Either a glazed twist or round, a chocolate cream filled, or just the regular chocolate bars. Now I love the chocolate bars, but I was hoping for more of a variety. They had a big case with lots of racks, but they were empty and you could see the crumbs from the donuts that were sitting there. We asked the clerk if they would be making anymore and he said no not today. Now remember it was 11am, and they were supposed to be open for another 4 hours until 3pm. Maybe they just didn't make enough this time, and aren't as busy as that Sunday was, I don't know. Anyways, the donuts we had were very good. They are very airy and soft. They seem to sell out fast, so I'd consider going as early as possible. I would like to try their other donuts as well, so I'm going to plan another visit, but earlier in the morning. The chocolate bars were the best I've had in the Everett/Mukilteo area. read more
