Tyra Beaver is my chiropractor. I have only been working with her for three weeks as of today. All I can say is that she is an amazing healer. I broke my foot in three places eight months ago and have had two major surgeries. I am a senior so recovery has been slow even thou I did have an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I walked into Dr. Beaver's office on crutches and could hardly keep my balance.. Today I am walking. She has helped me in so many ways. First of all, she is kind, gentle and welcoming. I felt immediate hope after just my first visit. At this visit she informed me that one of my legs was much shorter than the other. Dr. Beaver placed an inner sole in my shoe and my balance was restored immediately and my limping gone. I see this incredibly apt chiropractor three times a week now and she has thru her unique modalities relieved me of my headaches, loosened up my spine, improved my posture, and lessened any the pain I had in my broken foot. Best chiropractor I've ever had! I've had about 6 or 7 chiropractors through the years, from age 8. All of them simply adjusted my short leg in perpetuity, but Dr B is the first one to actually inform me of how this condition could impact my overall health, and more proactive ways to prevent all the future issues that can go along with it. I never knew I needed special orthopedic shoe inserts to prevent future problems, and now that I have them, things are starting to get so much better. She also treated me after a car accident, and her experience in physical therapy really sets her apart from other chiropractors. She and Dr Lopez really take their time in assessing your overall health, and adjusting what needs to be adjusted in a way designed to get you better. I was referred to Dr Beavers by my primary care doctor after I walked in and told him I wanted back surgery. Read on to learn how she changed my quality of life. I've had trouble with my back for over 20 years, but the last 7 years were the worse, I became physically limited. These last years I haven't been able to lift anything over 5 pounds, bending, stretching, reaching, pulling was all extremely limited by my back pain. I tried physical therapy several times and it helped just a little and only temporarily. A few weeks ago I decided I didn't want to continue living this way and so I was ready for surgery (or whatever it would take!) My doctor said I should try chiropractic care before we considered surgery. He sent me to Dr Beavers and she took her time with me completing a thorough examination and hearing what I had to say. She immediately gave me hope that she'd be able to help me with treatment. From day one she adjusted my back/neck and I already felt a difference. She helped me in a way that physical therapy could not. She gave me stretches and exercises which I do at home that helped me between my appointments. She has improved the quality of my life in a great way. After just a couple of sessions I was more flexible, had a greater range of motion and could life more weight. I also realized that my vertigo was suddenly gone, which I had lived with for over 8 years. I give her credit for that. I thank her for improving my life in many ways. Just started going to see Dr. Lopez. Really like her and what she has done for me so far. My insurance is a complete pain so I won't be able to go as often as I would like to. She's very kind and is great about making sure you are comfortable. I prefer the activator method and she's been great at accommodating that request for me. I would say that the parking situation is the biggest drawback. It's metered street parking and you must be careful where you park because some places are only for 1 hour. So far my sessions have lasted all the way up to an hour. The last time Dr. Lopez was a little late to my appointment so SHE ran to my meter to add some change. I really appreciated that and appreciate her kind demeanor in general. read more

Simply the Best! This is the most thorough, effective, and patient driven exam I have ever had. I was having serious lower back problems. It got to the point I could barely walk without feeling terrible pain. I went to Dr. Beavers and felt extremely cared for the moment I stepped into the office. The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind. Then Dr. Beavers asked me a lot of questions and examined a lot of things and I could tell she (1) wanted to get to the root of the problem (2) she deeply cares for her patients (3) absolutely knows what she is doing. After the examination, she did some work on my back. Whatever she did worked incredibly well. I previously went to Urgent Care for my back problem and they gave me shots and it didn't help. I just had my 3rd session with Dr. Beavers and she never ceases to amaze me! I've dealt with migraines, shoulder pain, and lower back pain all my life from sitting for long periods of time and playing an instrument. I'm so glad that my PCP suggested chiropractor treatment, along with my dentist who suggested I work with one for my TMJ. My TMJ pain had been overwhelming before my treatment to the point where it hurt to eat and talk. I lost so much weight from not eating and getting terrible sleep from the soreness of my masseter muscle. I first thought to go to my dentist and she suggested a mouth guard. This wasn't a good solution for me because of my gag reflexes. I didn't realize there was chiropractor treatment, but in the midst of pain, my dentist suggested I work with one. The next session with Dr. Beavers focused on my TMJ and WOW, WHAT A MIRACLE! I woke up the next day feeling NO PAIN, NO SORENESS! Dr. Tyra Beavers blew me away when I met her and how much she understood the body and how I sit at home or walk a certain way or move to either hurt or help myself. She gave me at home exercises and quickly got me back into top shape and alignment with her adjustments and care. I was having extreme migraines and shoulder pain and she released it all and found a cure and solution for the problem. As an increasingly creaky man in his mid-fifties it's great to know I have a great go-to chiropractor. Tyra Beavers & Marlene Lopez have seen me through a torn ACL I got on vacation, a torn miniscus from overtraining, a twisted ankle from a bad step taken in my messy garage, and the attendant spinal and musculoskeletal misalignment that come with trying to hobble around compensating for those injuries. Dr. Beavers is an amazing chiropractor! I've been seeing her for the past year and a half and she's gotten me through some pretty painful times. I have a herniated disk which comes with occasional moderate to severe flare-ups. I need a doctor who understands my need to stay active and can treat acute pain with a holistic approach. When I started seeing Dr. Beavers, she immediately recommended orthotics, a shoe lift, a back brace to wear for certain activities, some excellent stretches and foam rolling techniques. As someone who values holistic care rather than just popping some pain meds, I found all of these suggestions to be extremely helpful. And even though my back and spinal alignment are alway the focus, she also understands the importance of treating the whole body. I occasionally see Dr. Lopez, as well, who offers a more gentle but equally effective approach. Both are terrific doctors and eager to help their patients. My back pain and overall physical health have definitely improved since Dr. Beavers became my chiropractor. I saw Dr. Beavers after having neck pain for 6 months without improvement. The first time I met her, she was on time and met with me for almost an hour and 15 minutes. She was very good at explaining things and very thorough. Before my appointment, as I was waiting, she was helping an 83-year-old patient and offered to call Uber for her or to call the woman's next doctor to say that she was running late. She was very kind to this patient. She worked on my body and also provided me with exercises to do at home as well as tips on how to sit properly, etc. The pain in my neck is now greatly reduced. She has been my chiropractor for 21 years now and has helped me tremendously through various health issues. Recently, I was having daily, severe migraines and excruciating TMJ pain. My dentist said the only thing that would help both would be to get a mouth orthosis costing $7,000. I went to Dr. Beavers for a second opinion and she treated me and the all the pain went away almost immediately! Dr. Beavers also asked me if I chewed gum. I used to work for a chiropractor, and this office has it together - everything from wonderful service to timely billing to a calm atmosphere.
