This company is EXCELLENT. The entire experience from start to finish was flawless. If you need emergency tree service, like I did, do not hesitate, call them! I had a 50 foot tree fall on my townhouse. I called another company for an estimate, the rate was high, they could not get access to a crane, it would have taken days. I then called Tyson's got a friendly voice to answer right away, said I will send Kevin out right now. Kevin was professional, gave a fair estimate and said let's schedule it for the morning and it would be less since it is not emergency response. The crew came with their crane and three other trucks including a chipper. They masterfully pulled the tree from behind the townhouse over the row and rested it on the sidewalk. The proceeded to chip everything and then blew all the sawdust from the parking lot. The skill and precision was amazing. Each member of the crew worked together as a unified team. My insurance adjuster came and the tree crew moved for the adjuster to capture pictures. They waited to tarp up until the adjuster had everything he needed! I called the office to say I could not thank the team enough. Chris said if I need anything else, if they need to come out and remove the tarp for the insurance or redo anything, just give them a call. They even removed the limbs, and cleaned my neighbor's deck and back yard. They said, they will remove the whole tree, not just what was on my property. This was the 2nd time I've used Tyson's Tree to perform tree work - the first time was this past fall through and this last time was an emergency call to remove 3 trees that had fallen down the night before in a windstorm. Both times I was very happy with the work - the jobs were completed quickly and done well. The crew was very professional and helpful, checking to make sure the work that they were about to perform was what I was expecting. In this last case, I called Tyson's Tree Service on a cold Sunday morning to remove 3 trees that had fallen the night before due to high winds. Owner was very prompt in responding and had a crew out to my house within 2 hours - which was very much appreciated. Two of the trees had come down across the driveway, on top of a car and blocking the front door of the house. The other tree came across the back deck and broke in half, taking out a good portion of the deck railing - so there was quite a bit of clean up required. The crew worked diligently to remove the trees and clean up the area - they did a great job and I was very pleased with the work. I was very pleased with the quick and courteous communications, along with a fair price($2600), professional crew and a job very well done, and I plan on using them again in for future work. read more

I needed a large oak tree removed from my front yard since the roots were going under the house and possibly undermining the foundation. I called Tyson's and Chris came out to appraise the situation. He was very courteous and knowledgeable about the situation. He gave a very fair estimate as to the time involved and the cost which included stump grinding. At the appointed day the crew arrived on time and ready to work. The day selected, the temperature was 96 degrees, but this did not stop or slow down their efficiency. The 30+ year old tree came down in sections, which were immediately put into the chipper and the larger pieces of wood set aside. The entire area was then cleaned up, including the street and the next door neighbor's yard where some limbs/leaves fell. A day later the stump was ground down and all the surround roots. While some tree grinders only go 6" down, Tyson's ground down over 2 feet, thus allowing me the option of possibly planting another bush/tree there in the future. He took the time to carefully explain the complexities and potential risks involved in the removal, especially since the fallen tree was resting on a Crepe Myrtle we wanted to preserve. Kevin offered several options, which gave me added confidence in their approach. I recently hired Tyson's Tree Service to remove a massive dead oak from my backyard, and I couldn't be more impressed with their work. The tree was huge and posed a serious challenge, but their team handled it with incredible professionalism and skill. What really stood out was their use of a crane to safely and efficiently take the tree down. They used it to lift massive segments of the tree from the backyard, over my house, and down to the street, where they expertly ground the pieces on-site. Tyson's Tree has been around for a while because they do great work, period. Vinay in the front office, Chris O'Dell, the Arborist, and Nery's crew were all first rate. Vinay was very responsive and the communication from the front office, to the arborist, to the crew was perfect, no lines were crossed and it job went off without a hitch. The job was a medium size touching over 10 trees. The crew was quick, kind, and cleaned up so that the yard looked like it did 8 years ago when I moved in. They gave good recommendations on tree health and educated me on how to do small maintenance pruning. Now I don't know of many companies that would train you how to do a little portion of their job, which shows me they trust their own work and know the value they give customers. Tyson's provided excellent service through all phases of our multi tree removal process. It was a smooth process from the quotes with two on time visits by the arborist when we added more trees, to the crane set up, placement of protective mats, removal of many trees including one with a 60 inch diameter, stump grinding and final cleanup. The two crews worked very hard and cleanup continuously as they worked over two long days. We have had many trees removed from our property over the past 20 plus years here, so we know how much tree work costs. Tyson's provided highly pricing on the work they perform. I have dealt with many tree companies in the past. By far Tyson's was best I have ever hired. They were professional and courteous. The office staff was great. The gentleman was able to answer all my questions and had an arborist contact me within less than 4 hours. The arborist was professional and extremely knowledgeable. After I agreed to the price I called and was able to get my work scheduled my immediately. Unfortunately due to my work, i travel a lot. I had to reschedule four times and the gentleman in the office always accommodated me, even when I had to reschedule the morning of the job. Very good company and arborist! read more

Tyson's Tree came out to our house in Vienna about a week ago and removed a large (unhealthy) oak tree as well as trimming two trees in our back yard. The crew was polite and efficient, and they did a great job with the tree removal, trimming, and cleanup. Thanks to a promotion, Tyson's was able to provide the lowest bid among four companies that I contacted. they came out quickly and performed the work in half a day.
