Crucible has great beer, great staff, and service. They don't serve food but plenty of local restaurants deliver to them. Every week, on Tap It Tuesday, there's a new beer to try. Dick, the head brewer, is always coming up with something new. Their Raspberry Sour has won awards. The Wootz IPA is solid. I don't usually care for Pale Ales but I love their Oatmeal Pale. Crucible gets everything right. From atmosphere to service to the brews, it's all spot on. A good friend was visiting from the Midwest to present his research on craft beer culture at a local conference. As host, I made sure we experienced all my favorite breweries to the south. We stopped at Crucible on a whim at the end of a full day of exploration and indulgence. It was the perfect stop. We both built a flight of six beers and each was incredible. I have never loved every beer on a flight before my experience at Crucible. It was so good, we returned the next day. The staff greeted us warmly and welcomed us back like regulars. It was the perfect personal touch. I can't say enough good things about Crucible. Go for the beer, atmosphere, or the friendly service, any is a valid reason, just be sure to go. Cheers! read more

Had a pint of lPA and Red, sampled the Bavarian Hefe and Stout. Delicious beer and cool vibe. Owner is also the brewer and very personable. Service was great and the giant wall screen will probably be a hit. I can see this location becoming too small in the very near future. Will be back fo sho! read more

Stopped in when I was up in Everett for business after reading the yelp reviews and it was great! Comfortable environment with several tv's for watching sports and plenty of seating. Despite one review I read, Dick (the owner), was very friendly and nice to chat with. I am always looking for local breweries with good beer and a friendly, laid back atmosphere and this place was great! Great new little brewery with delicious beer, a clean atmosphere and cool decor. The brewer is super nice and remembered our names, and is more than willing to share his knowledge.
