I would give this business no stars if I could. Caters only to "regulars". Despite the fact that I've come in to meet those friends who are regulars, cannot get waited on at the bar by the female bartender who only likes to cater to males, hoping for tipe, i finally got waited upon last visit, made the stupid mistake of ordering a martini. Got it served up in a water glass. Bartender said to me "I know it's terrible". Yet charged me full price for it. Owner meeds to spend far less attention upon growing his empire and hire behind him to ensure quality assurance. UPDATE: After this review, called the business upon their request last Saturday afternoon. Their voice mail quickly hung up upon me. This is a refuge for beer snobs in the middle of a suburban strip mall. Overhanging the wooden bar (that's probably older than the building) is a chalkboard detailing the 12 micros on tap from all over the world (Young's Chocolate was one that I remembered). A couple flat screen tvs had the Indians game on. Service was solid. There were a couple beers on tap that I hadn't heard of before and the bartender offered a couple 1oz samples to us. There's a jukebox (some guys were playing Blackstreet and Montell Jordan, yeah, yeah!) There's a relaxed atmosphere with a couple hi-tops that you seat yourself and in the back, a couple nice couches and a coffee table for you and a small group of friends to drink and be merry amid the bright lighting. In addition to the 12 on tap, there's dozens of microbrews from transparent coolers where you help yourself and browse the dozens of microbrews from all over Europe, Mexico, and the USA including Bell's, Great Divide, Sam Smith, a couple Belgians. As Pennsylvania has odd beer laws: you can buy the beers as 6pack, make your own 6pack to go, or drink in them in the store. There's also domestics in case you need to cheapen it up. There wasn't any food available (or did they just shut down microwave for the night?) at 10p. There's also a selection of 24oz fancy shamancy like 3 philosophers, some very limited runs from rogue dead ale, unibrou, southern tier, Samuel Smith. This is worth stopping in if you're even driving through Erie, as this is right off I-90. This place was the only reason I enjoyed staying in a hotel amid the suburban sprawl of Erie. read more

The food is tasty, but simple - mostly sandwiches and hot dogs - but that is not the purpose of going here. This is a craft beer bar that has the best selection of beers in Erie. Every time you go in, there will be different beers on tap from all over the country. Awesome, laid-back atmosphere with extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. One heck of a six pack shop providing your typical domestic selection but emphasizing a wide variety of craft brews. Out of the case, selections run the spectrum of beer styles and include a number of rare special interest brews. These may be purchased to-go or given to the bar refer to serve at the bar. The bar includes 12 taps that are constantly rotating. Beer styles include something for everyone and range from session beers to imperials. Menu isn't anything spectacular and focuses on quick-prep, microwaved food with no cooked food (no kitchen). The food is adequate enough to help pace yourself and enjoy a number of great beers In the process. U pick is located within walking distance of several restaurants and hotels. So if you want to really "go to town" and enjoy a lot of what they have to offer, go hit Golden Corral and come back for another round. Cheers! read more

I've spent the last 1.5 weeks in Erie for Business and was looking for a great place to enjoy a craft beer. What I found was much more! I spent a wonderful 2-3 nights with an excellent bartender named Molli and her co-worker Zach. They were excellent company and the changing craft beer list is quite desirable. They do serve food and it's A+ I'll look forward to returning next time I'm in Erie! read more

Guy working there was not very helpful when you could find him. He was in and out of the back. Asked a simple question about if the had a 32 oz growler or 64 for sales. He literally laughed at me and said no. We fill them but we dont sell them or we are out of them. He didnt even know until He then showed me a $45 dollar growler they sell. $45 for growler not filled would have had to pay for fill. Got to be crazy. Lot of empty spots on shelf for a thursday at 130pm. Prices were slighlty high. Was excited to go there a lot of beers in Erie we can't get in buffalo. Will never be back. 1000 beers farther down peach st great place. The guy there is awesome and very helpful. Or just go to wegmans. Avoid this u pick 6 on peach st. I will not say same for other 3 places but turned me off from going. read more

Great beer selection!!! They have 12 beers on tap with one cask available. Great service and my favorite beer was the Anchor, Aymaster......a nice dark full bodied, malty and quite smooth. They have an unparalleled selection! Saturday afternoon proved a nice try. $4.00 for 4 tacos and an interesting selection of hot dogs. My brother had the BLT dog! He said it was really good! The past two times I have been here, the bartender has been beyond rude and negligent of customer needs. Asking a simple beer question, he makes you feel like a moron. He (Jamie) seems more worried about watching soccer, then he is serving the paying customers. Other locations have been wonderful, but this place is the pits. read more

This place is generally chock full of pretentious douche bag types. I only buy beer here if everything else is closed. I travel for work almost every week. This place, by far, had the worst service I have ever experienced. I ordered a pizza and had a beer. Both were good. But not once did the bartender come around to give me utensils, ask me if I needed another beer, or anything like that. My beer was empty before the pizza even came. The bartender ignored me the entire time. Same goes for the guy sitting next to me. When I asked her for the check - she said that I had to hold on. When she cleared my plate - never even asked if I enjoyed the pizza. When she brought the check - never even said thank you. 3 people were working at the bar and not one person came over and there may have been10 people in the bar. Do not go here. Ever. I won't leave the bartenders name - but she is hands down the worst bartender I've ever had. They actually get one star because the pizza was good and half price. During happy hour when our first round of drinks were nearly finished we ordered the second round. The bartender yelled at us and told us we cannot order another drink until we have finished the first. She took the 2nd order away from us and said she could get fired and fined. We apologized and thought this was a new policy. We discovered this was not true at bars and other U Pick 6 establishments. Also we noticed she did not do this to all customers. We went another time and she did the same thing. When we told her that this was not a common practice, she had no response. When management was told several months later, they were not responsive and said we should have reported this earlier. Also they only take drinks form intoxicated customers. This was not the case for us. Also the management informed us that she is a great bartender with no complaints. Management was not responsive. We did not want to get the bartender in trouble, but felt this was inappropriate. read more
