Awful, deposits not honored from other larger banks and financial institutions. I'm still waiting on a walk in deposit I made a month ago.

I would rate this branch 1 star based on my third interaction with the branch manager. I feel racially profiled, as each encounter has been consistently negative and seems racially motivated. Even the staff appears to be aware of her behavior. read more

Was not happy the teller wouldn't confirm my check while I was at the branch. She said I had to come back after she verified it and never called me back. The information to verify is on the check and she refused to call them stating she had to call the branch. But never did and never followed up with me. read more

Let me start off with this.... my boyfriend & I originally made an appointment with Rosie at the E14th location but before we walked into the bank the doors were locked. I was like something happened cuz there's hella police! So I called & was advised to go to the Bayfair location. We found out from a customer that was inside the bank that they had been robbed! Thank God we didn't come early! So now this review is for the Bayfair location. The bank was packed! I'm guessing it was crowded because every customer was being diverted to this location. I'm glad we were too otherwise we wouldn't of had the best customer service in banking history. Myisha LITERALLY took her time with my boyfriend, his brother and I. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours! We had such a complicated transaction due to the circumstances. I'm not going to go in detail but do know that Myisha had great customer service, compassion, funny and sympathetic all rolled into one. I can't stress this enough how she took her time with us! We all walked out SATISFIED! And at the end of the day she told us where to eat! Thank you Myisha! You're the best! read more

Poorly managed branch with extremely long lines with no staff available to help :) Don't waste your gas coming to this location.

If you can avoid this branch at all costs. Today I came to withdraw money and the lines were long per usual. However, when I went to pay my rent the person at the window had to tell me that one of the $100 bills I received were fake. So I went back to the bank and spoke to the branch manager and she said there was nothing that she could do because I had already left the bank. Then I asked her could she run the tape back and zoom in on the money and she told me that she didn't know the procedure. She checked all the bills in the light, DID NOT RUN THEM THROUGH THE MONEY COUNTER like the previous teller did not and then only took the one fake bill. Once she got done she photocopied the fake bill, and stapled it to the photocopied bill. Once that was done, she proceeded to tell me that she was going to turn in the money and that the secret services would conduct an investigation and they would do an investigation. I called customer service and they told me that is not the procedure for fake money and that she was supposed to file a claim and I needed to go back to the bank to get a claim number. So I go back to the bank and talk to the teller that gave me the fake money and tell her what customer said about the claim. She speaks to the branch manager and then I tell her what customer service said. The teller that gave me the fake money then says "I don't know why customer service didn't do the claim for her." I then tell her that because they transaction occurred at the branch, the branch has to file the claim. I'm not quite sure what kind of training these employees received or didn't receive but this isn't a good look. And what's crazy to me is that the teller lied and said she checked the bills before she gave me the money when she didn't. Now I'm out of this money until "ThEy Do An InVeStIgAtIoN". I need for these ppl to do better than this because I took this money to another bank to make a deposit. I could've went to jail for this and nobody sees it in this manner. read more

I've been trying for the last week to cash a Western Union Money transfer from Vancouver Washington. I Google Western Union and this bank comes up as providing the service. However, when I get inside and wait to go up to the teller I'm told that either the sender or the person receiving it Hass to have an account at the US Bank. Something that was not mentioned in the Google search and was not clearly posted on their Western Union display. But it is in the very small fine print on one of their leaflets IF you bother to search for it AFTER wasting time to show up. this kind of amounts to false advertising, except I guess they covered their backside by putting it in the tiny little FinePrint that most people would overlook. I don't see how Western Union can tolerate the sort of deceptive practices or just straight incompetence. read more

We have had an excellent experience with this branch and AM Diane Nguyen. It was a delicate matter involving multiple branches in two states. Ms. Nguyen was extremely knowledgeable and professional in resolving this matter in a thorough and expeditious manner. This particular branch has ongoing mechanical issues with their ATM machine. It has been broken very often and you can almost never make a deposit into their machine. I have complained to management and nothing gets repaired. While the folks who work at this branch are very nice people (that's the only reason for the 2 stars I gave it) the focus on customer satisfaction is not happening. What a disgrace it is to have a major financial institution who doesn't repair its one and only ATM machine? How can that be great customer service? I would not choose to do business with this bank if I were a customer seeking a bank to conduct their business with. read more

Not suprising to see so many negative reviews. My experience: they failed to send me my pink slip when I paid off my car loan. I need title to donate my car. On my first visit they told me it would take 2 days. A week later they told me it would take 10 days. A week later they told me it would take 30-60 days. 10 days later they claimed that they had sent it out August 13. On August 20 they said there was nothing more that they could do. I will avoid U.S. Bank like the plague for the rest of my life. read more

I've been banking with US Bank since I started my business back in 2000. I was previously with Well Fargo since college, and was sick and tired of the constant increases in my monthly bank charges. So I asked my Dad who he banks with and he told me US Bank. They don't charge any monthly fees, and they don't require any direct deposit. In fact, they actually pay you interest on your regular checking account, which is amazing! It's not much, but at least it's something. There's no minimum deposit to open an account, either. I love their online banking, which I use on a daily basis. They also offer free bill-pay, which is usually $4+ at other banks. They have branches all over the place, and I've started seeing their little ATMs in local Walgreen's as well. n As far as customer service, I rarely go inside unless the ATM is out of service, and a couple of the ladies in there leave a lot to be desired as far as friendliness. But I'm not much of a regular inside. I've seen the tellers be very friendly with some folks who are clearly regulars at the counter, which on one hand is nice, but on the other is annoying because they get to chatting a little too long when I'm in a hurry. Anyways, after actually earning interest on a regular checking account, I just don't know why anyone would pay monthly fees to any bank. read more

I called 3 US BANK branches and not one could do an international wire. I phoned the Bayfair Branch and the manager said to come to that branch and do the international wire. Even though it is out of my way I drove to the branch and have been sitting here for 50 minutes! No place to sign in, no acknowledgement that I was waiting, NOTHING!! Even though the bank makes money from my money there is absolutely no CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I will recommend to my client that their money is better in another bank. read more

This is the worst, I mean the worst US bank I've been in. My parents have been with US bank since 2005 and when I went there to order my check card because i just turned 18, the lady at the desk didn't even know what she was doing and kept apologizing and kept asking the manager for help. It took 2 hours to order my check card and they made a big deal about the different address on my drivers license and check book. The lady didn't even allow me to choose my pin when i ordered it so now i have to get my butt to a us bank branch to set it up and there is not one close by to where i am -_- i'm definitely gonna close it read more

This bank is very poorly managed. They usually have only 1-2 tellers no matter what day or time it is. The lines are always long and the tellers are slow. Plus, the other branch staff sits at their desks and do not assist those in line. Very frustrating. read more

Impossible trying to open 2 business checking accounts at this branch!! The customer service rep (Rachal) was very friendly about 2 mos. ago telling me to come in and she would transfer all my accounts from the other US BANK in Hayward (TERRIBLE, service and a lying manager). So, I've driven the 11 miles roundtrip on 3 occasions and attempted to see Rachal to open up my new accounts (and cancel the old ones). But my oh my...... She is never at her desk! Correction: the 2 times I have come in and seen her at her desk she was deeply involved with another customer. So I drove by a 3rd time last week (first week of Jan 2016) and she wasn't in the bank at all on that day. I asked when she would be back, no one was quite sure. I drove to the bank today at 3:05 PM. I sat in the chair in front of her desk. All 3 other desks were empty and a lone woman sat about 15 feet away from me busy at work looking at some computer printouts. She never looked up and acknowledged I was there. The bank manager in a private inner office could see me sitting there for 10 minutes. He ignored me. Finally, Mr. Ralph came in and sat down at his desk. No "Hello", no "Hi", no indication that he was going to acknowledge my presence sitting there in the middle of their whole office with no one paying any attention to me. Finally, when he got up and walked by me, I spoke out to him and asked where is Rachal? Is she even here today? He said, "She just left for lunch - she probably won't be back for another 45 minutes." So I ate lunch at Togos and killed more time. 30 minutes later I returned to the bank and sat back at Rachel's empty desk. Next, I drove off to Pep Boys a half mile away to kill more time. 20 minutes later I came back and still no Rachel (It had been 75 minutes). So I sat and waited at her desk. Another man came in asking a teller where she was. Teller told him to sit down and that she had another customer (ME) before him. Five minutes later, I woke up from my nap as I heard Rachel's voice talking. She had just come into the bank, but now she was busy talking to the other man that had only just arrived a couple of minutes before she walked in. They were talking over by the waiting couch near the door about his investments and other instruments of finance. She had completely overlooked me SITTING AT HER DESK WAITING!!! I figured at that point: "The Hell with opening my new accounts here. This bank just doesn't serve it's customers very well." I stood up, walked out, and drove home after wasting 90 minutes of my life!! I'll hang on to my old checking accounts for the time being. Rachal talked a good game, but when it comes to actually delivering the goods in terms of customer service, she permanently lost my faith in her. I only regret I have to still occasionally walk into this bank to cash or deposit a check now and then. I'm moving out of state within a few months and I might as well just keep putting up with these aggravations until I move. My advice to anyone is to keep searching for a better bank! read more

I've been here since 2005 and I like this bank but recently it's almost like every time I go to the atm it's unavailable to make withdrawals. It's an inconvenience to go in the bank due to having 1 teller open and everyone else walking around and that's what the ATM is for. They should have a specific time to refill for cash. I tried to wire $3000 via Western Union and the cashier told me at $3000 or more I needed to provide a 2nd picture id. I immed said let me call WU, this was a ridiculous request as almost no one has 2 picture id's on them (this guy actually said a SS card will do!!)........to which he replied "it is not a Western Union policy it is the bank's policy." To which I replied then lower the amount to $2999 to which he replied "I cannot do that as it would be fraud". I was so pissed I took my money and went straight to safeway to send it. I was so furious I called and spoke to the assistant manager a few days later lambasting the guy and making sure she knew what an idiotic thing that was to say. She was embarrassed and completely agreed it was absurd and an insult to imply I was being fraudulent for reducing the amount by $1. She then asked if you she could have the bank manager call me, I said yes, but predictably he never called. I was actually thinking of opening an account with this bank and closing my account across the street at Chase...................until I found out what jerks they are! read more

This Bank sucks on customer service!!! Seriously I started an account with them on the 3rd of September. I requested that my ATM CARD BE SENT TO THE BANK SO THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT. Today is the 27th and it is still not here. Instead of them letting me know what the problem was/is they just keep putting it on hold.
