    No easy one-click cancellation feature for subscription.

    Warning for future customers, Regrettably this location did not provide the adequate customer service one would expect. I dropped off my Nintendo switch with water damage on January 7, 2026. They mentioned that it would be possible to repair by the 11th, since I was heading out of town. I made sure to ask if they usually carry the extra parts rather than ordering per service-knowing that it would take longer therefore. The person in front double checked with the repair staff in the back and assured me that they do carry extra parts in store. We discussed pricing and estimated the cost to be ~$200, but that I also had the option of purchasing their monthly subscription for $39 with a two month minimum. They said the subscription covers labor, but not the parts. I called on January 10th to check if they would have the repair done on time, but they had absolutely no update to share. January 11th, they called and informed me that they did indeed need to order the replacement part. Since I was traveling, I was unable to immediately pay the invoice. The only time they were consistent in communication was while they were attempting to retrieve my payment for the part. I paid on January 13, 2026. I never received any further phone calls or emails regarding the status of my repair. Almost a month passed, and I called almost daily to receive updates-no one answered my calls over various dates and times. Finally, I got someone to answer my call on February 3, 2026. I explained I had not heard anything from the company. Their response was, "The part had just arrived today. So, we can have the device ready for pickup at 4:00pm". I didn't receive confirmation for pickup until 6:00pm that day-which is when the store closes. During the pickup they charged the same amount I had paid on 1/13. When I called back the day after pickup to resolve the issue, they explained that their system didn't had not shown my payment. I do NOT recommend doing business here. Canceling the subscription is a different story entirely. Per California law, AB 2863 (2024), the cancellation of subscriptions must be one click easily accessible. The Asurion website did not provide that; the Q&A said written consent to request cancellation was meant to be sent to a undisclosed address. I called customer service and they were able to cancel after I cited the law. TLDR; -Lack of communication while servicing -Inaccurate/misleading turn around times -Entice you to purchase monthly subscription (minimum 2 months), absurd regular prices -Never answered phones during business hours -Double charged for replacement part

    They charge too much. Go to my phone repair in Cupertino instead. They charge less than half of what this place charges.

    Don't get the insurance plan scam, devices aren't covered under accidental damage. It's not useful at all. I should have known better.

He had to remove the keyboard components and thoroughly clean the inside of my laptop. Thankfully, he was able to fix my MacBook. Ray was also incredibly helpful in explaining how to properly back up my data and what steps to take if something like this happens again. He even helped me back up my MacBook to iCloud. If you ever spill liquid on your device, shut it down immediately and bring it to Ray. He saved me from having to buy a new laptop!

    My computer crashed the other night right around 5:30 pm so I got on the old interweb and found…read morethat TechCare was open until 6pm. I called them at 5:50pm and spoke with Ray "I think he is the owner" anyway I told him what was going on and he said to come on down and that he would wait for me. When I arrived I noticed that they have a big Yelp banner on the window, I walked in and spoke with Ray about the problem and showed him a picture of what the error was, he was up front with me and explained that if the hard drive was bad that he would not be able to save my data. I told him to do his best to save my data. The next day he texted me with a quote and said that he would be able to fix it and save my data. I told him to fix it. About 3 hours later he texted me again and said to come on by and pick it up. Now when I arrived he didn't just give me my computer and send me on my way, he sat me down and explained that I have 3 different options to save my data just in case the hard drive or computer crashes in the future. He also said that if I'm not sure how to back up the hard drive or need help with anything to call him and he would walk me through it. When all was said and done, he charged me $299 out the door and my machine is working flawlessly!! Thank you Ray! You got a customer for life.

    I came in with what I thought was going to be an expensive nightmare. The metal tip of my Lightning…read morecable had snapped off inside my iPhone's charging port, and I couldn't charge my phone at all. They examined it and showed me that the connector on the logic board was damaged -- the wires were exposed -- and the entire port assembly needed to be swapped out. Honestly, when they said it would take about an hour, I was already mentally preparing for a big bill. But the final price was only $95, parts included, plus a 3-month warranty. I was genuinely surprised. Beyond the price, the explanation was thorough and easy to follow, and they never made me feel rushed. This is exactly the kind of repair shop you hope to find. I'll definitely be a returning customer.

He offered the lowest rate and was the most communicative, even after the closing time listed on his store. Upon arrival, he walked through how he was going to repair my phone and was even willing to take a look at my teenager's completely damaged iPhone 12 to see what he could do (teenagers!!! Grrrr)... Fixing my lens alone would've been 20 minutes, but he needed more time to take a look at my son's phone; so for just an hour, I walked through the shopping plaza, sat down for lunch & tea at the nearby Chinese restaurant, sifted through the Vietnamese grocery store-- it was chill. I came back to find my lens repaired 100%, yay. Unfortunately though, after a good time of troubleshooting all features of my son's phone, he wasn't quite able to bring it back. He gave me a quote for the repair of multiple parts and then suggested I think it over and come back should I decide to move forward. I just appreciated how thoroughly he assessed the condition of my son's phone at no extra cost. Time, effort, and skill generously shared. I'm recommending you to everyone, Farid!
