I needed a battery for my Mac Book Air. The laptop was about 10 years old and would not hold a charge. The battery would be charged at 100% and drain down to 1% in 15 minutes. I took a PS4 to get cleaned. I was told it would take 2 days. After 3 days, it was still not ready. I went to the store and asked them for a status update. At this point, the guy says that it is cleaned and ready for me. He gave it back to me and the entire outside console was still dirty. There was still dust all around the usb ports and all around the sides of the console. I took it home, plugged it in and within 1 minute of loading the game a message pops up saying that it is "too hot" and it shuts down. The fan is extremely loud, at least twice as loud as before I brought it in to get fixed. I took it back to the store and I asked them did not not fully test it? Power it on and off - you know as a "before and after" snapshot? The guy tells me that they could not do so because I did not give them the power cord. WTF? Are you kidding me? You mean to tell me that as a tech shop that does these kinds of simple jobs does not have extra PS4 cords laying around to use for unit testing? Also, if they needed the power cord then why did they not ask for my power cord when I dropped it off? Honestly, I seriously doubt they even cracked open the console and did anything! They just wanted me out of the hair and rip me off while they were at it! Not to mention that the guy with long hair was rude to me. He says to me, "When you called me the first 2 times, I told you that I will call you and then you had your mom call and I told her the same." His extra comment about my mom was highly unprofessional and a DIS. I asked my mom to call because I was so pissed off after getting the run-around for 3 days that I didn't want to cuss him out and rip him a new one! It is none of his business who I ask to call for me. I could ask my english bulldog to call for me and that's my own business! The worst customer service experience I ever had! They have a 90-day repair warranty; however, after this BS I do not trust them to fix it. If they couldn't fix it the first time (of what was a simple cleaning) what makes me think they will fix it the next time? I decided to not leave it there again and get a refund. I had Ubreakifix replace my iphone screen. The guys in store were great however. For $225 for a new screen i thought the price was high, however i moved forward. 1 week later I notice heavy scratching in one area. I ignored it as thought maybe it rubbed in my pocket against something and the product was just not as tough as the iphone glass. fast foward 2 weeks and now a hair line crack has appeared across my entire screen. Hello my name is Joseph I recently had my PlayStation brought to You Break I Fix up in Santee when I got my console back Granite I am a electronic technician for the military I have been taking a park computers and fixing computers my whole life so I know the gist of computers I don't take apart my PlayStation because I'm not an expert in PlayStation these people claim they're an expert in PlayStation but when I got my console back Not only was my memory Drive no longer working my console could not connect to the internet and my motherboard that connected to my sister board that allowed my DVD to be able to read was also broken so first off I want to complain and say when I gave him my console all that needed to be fixed was my DVD drive and when I got it back Not only was my DVD drive still broken my console will no longer connect to the internet all my memory was wiped and my memory stick was corrupt so I don't know who the hell call these people professionals but they aren't then when they stopped working I was like okay cool I'm just going to take a peek at inside to see maybe they forgot something oh boy was I right not only were they missing 12 screws to put the console back together some of the grounding screws are missing the motherboard screws are missing and there seems to be no thermal paste between my motherboard and my heat sink I don't know who the hell hired these people but they are not professionals they broke my console I sent two consoles in and both of them came back worse than the condition I gave it to them in I would not only like a refund I would like them to fix my console or repair my current consoles and if they can't do that they should replace my consoles because I gave my consoles to them to fix and they did not fix them I will not only be contacting their management but I will also be talking to their supervisor and boss because this is unacceptable they are not professional they don't do their job properly they are lazy and they don't put s*** back together the way that they're designed if you have anybody you know that actually fixes consoles please let me know I am a major in computers not in PlayStations thank you for your time read more

I have a Galaxy S-10 that is only a few months old and the camera is faulty but works so I didn't get a warranty fix until recently when I dropped a dog leash on the phone and ended up with a small chip on the edge of the screen. This facility is the authorized repair facility for both Samsung and Asurion insurance. When I took the phone to them they refused to fix the screen because the camera is faulty and refused to fix the camera because the screen is chipped. So basically both the warranty and insurance are both worthless according to them, they made no offer or ideas on how I could get my phone repaired. I then called Samsung and they agreed with me that this store was wrong and I am mailing the phone to Samsung for repair under the warranty. read more

I took my phone for a battery replacement under Google's extended repair. Ubreakifix called me and told me they were going to change all of the components on the phone (cameras, motherboard, screen, everything). I didn't understand why at the time, but all new components? Yes, please. So I get my phone back and I'm having serious ghost touching issues from the screen. Now I'm starting to realize that it was likely that the technicians did not know how to put it together correctly and ended up getting Google to pony up new components and yet still failed to fix and put it together. As a cherry on top, the store manager Jason laughed me out of this location. First (correctly) stating that ghost touching is typically a hardware issue, then back peddling to "it's probably your data", to "zooming in and out of Google maps is not a normal use case." He told me there was nothing he could do anymore and that I "should just leave and take it to another Ubreakifix." Now I have a phone that is pretty much useless with the infinite ghost touching because ubreakifix's inability to put this phone back together. The lack of ability to do the one thing they were supposed to be able to do, paired with the completely unprompted and unreasonable response from the exposed store manager for lack of skills required to do his job turned this whole ordeal into more of an "ibreakufix" situation. Of course, this all would have been avoided by mailing in my phone to Google for the repair instead of wasting my money and time coming into this store. Thanks for nothing. read more

We had an appointment, and he called ahead of time, to let us know that he was about 20 minutes away. Muhammad was very nice, took the phone to his "mobile workshop" which he parked on our street, and took care of the problem quickly. AT&T forces you to come here for any warranty Repair. Samsung Does the same thing. I can get it free of charge and they are Samsung Approved. This Store could care less that. They were apparantly out of the screen I needed. They won't look up or call any of their Other Stores to see if they have it. So they send you on a quest to call every store yourself. Every store answers with oh sorry, I had it and now it's gone. The Store says they cannot order another part from the manufacturer.No help at all. The Store Associates have Bad attitudes. All 3 that I called acted like im interupting their time on Facebook. I have No idea Why At&t, Samsung, and Apple would make you come here. Really bad customer service. My guess is the Store is saving those Screens for paying Customers. They could care less about Warranty Repairs. The Store wants to Price Gouge someone that drops and cracks their phone screen and has no Insurance. The screen Is worn out. It's acually a Known Issue. I can't Imagine how many other Fold 3 users have to mail their phone off for a Month. Which is what I now have to do. read more

Come here if you want your phone to come out worse then it did going in. I took my phone here for a software error only for them to give it back in its same state only this time with a broken screen. Not only that, but they tried to hide the fact they broke it by rushing me out and closing the door on my face and wrapping the phone in paper so I wouldn't notice. Luckily, I noticed it right away and rightfully requested that it be returned in the same state that I gave it to them in. Now I'm stuck with a cheap chinese screen replacement that definitely is not as bright and vibrant as the original screen. First broken screen in 20 yrs of cell phone usage. I checked online on YouTube, looked easy enough to fix my self. I ordered part online from AZ but it was a little different than the image. I just couldn't get things to work. So I took it to uBreakiFix store and asked the guys behind the counter if they could take care of it. Unfortunately they didn't work on this model of Android he said. It was an LG model and I could see that most of what they do is Apple oriented. Based on all of the good reviews, I can't help but think I have just had bad luck with my repair. Unfortunately, this was my first time rendering services through uBreakiFix. Below are the highlights of my experience so far: - Drop my device off for repair and was told it would take 7 - 10 business days to complete because they had to order the new screen. - 10 business days pass and the "track your repair" link shows my repair hasn't started yet, so I call the store for an update. I am told that the technician damaged the home button during the screen replacement and a new home button had to be ordered. - 3 weeks pass from when I dropped off the device. I am then told that they were having some trouble with the adhesive, but would call me later that evening with a status update. I was never called. - The next day I called for an update and I am told that the replacement screen cracked during the installation and a new one had to be ordered. Everyone has been nice that I talked to on the phone and while in store. The biggest grief I would say is with lack of communication (even updating the repair tracking feature), and of course, having more damage sustained to the device by the technicians during the repair. Again, based on the otherwise high Yelp reviews, I think I have just had very bad luck with getting my device repaired and am considering just picking it back up and try somewhere else. read more
