Just wanted to share my experience with uBreakiFix Temecula. The businesses I manage use iPads for customer service, and unfortunately I had an iPad Pro that had a broken screen and I needed it fixed. I called a few other places before calling uBreakiFix, to see if its fixable and to get pricing. I kept getting wishy-washy answers, and even someone tell me yes, but eventually they no showed my service appointment (was a mobile service) because he didnt have the part after all. Then I ran across uBreakiFix. I got a direct answer over the phone regarding a potential repair, so I brought it in for service. While dropping off my iPad, I explained a problem I was also having with my personal iPhone. They were able to address it on the spot, quickly. My mobile phone insurance for screen repair works only with ubreakifix. The closest store to me was 90 minutes away. When Kevin, the owner saw the repair order come in and the distance I had to travel, he called to 1) find out when I wanted to come in, 2) make sure he had the parts for the repair, and 3) did the complex job in 3 hours, so I wouldn't have to come back a day or two later. Kevin's proactive communication with me was an unexpected delight and he did a great job on the repair on my new fancy Google Pixel 3. When I picked up the repaired phone, he had a few minutes to show me the complex peices and tools needed for the repair. As an engineer I'm always curious about that kind of thing. In my years upon years of owning phones, this is the first time I've had a real issue which at first I didn't think was even an issue, just some spot where video or pictures were that way until my sister saw it and said I should get it checked out. I had a black spot on the bottom left of my screen. I thought I better check if my warranty is still active, I got online and called Samsung, they said to schedule an appointment online through their website. I did, got there about a quarter to 5. The man at the front looked at it and he said, yea, you have dead pixels and that spot was only going to get larger. He took my info, checked the phone info, said its covered by warranty and said to come back in a couple hours. I got back to shop about 10 minutes to 7pm and my phone was in the final test phase and when they brought it out, it looked amazing! the phone is a Samsung S10+. All this to say, I was very worried that I would have to send the phone to Samsung but luckily, this place is partnered with them for repairs, all parts are original Samsung as the owner showed me the screen and parts. They restore back to Samsung's standards. I was beyond pleased with the quick, hassle free, warranty replacement of my phone's screen. read more

**MISOGYNISTIC & POOR TREATMENT OF FEMALE CUSTOMERS** Preface: I have never been someone to leave Yelp reviews as I believe it often gets abused. That said, I specifically made a Yelp account to say that my service here was abysmal. Specifically, "Evan" is unbelievably rude and caustic when interacting with female customers it's shocking. I have been here twice for very simple fixes through Verizon and he cannot interact with female customers respectfully. The male customers that have been helped before and after me are met with polite service by Evan, only to immediately switch to a condescending attitude for females. Both times I have been in here to pick up and drop off my items I have watched other women get spoken to in an unkind and aggressive manner by Evan, while also experiencing it first hand. I've stayed quiet and polite every time--even through him answering my simple questions with "how am I supposed to know?" and "that's not my problem" etc. Disgusting customer service and an even more repulsive person for behaving this way. It may not be the business that promotes this treatment of female customers but "Evan" has deterred my future business and sullied any recommendations for using "UBREAKIFIX". Do not come here. There are many other businesses with excellent customer service that deserve it. read more

I had an issue with a charge port on one phone and a broken home button on a second phone. I called the 800 number, I was given a fair price, and booked an appointment to the closest store to me being the Temecula location. The 800 corporate line gave me false information, and then refused to make good on the information they gave me. I stopped at the local franchise and found the owner there to be one of the best customer service individuals I have met in a very long time. Not only was he honest, he was willing to take a loss on all of the profit on the part as well as all of the labor and do the job it cost to try to help me since the corporate booking service refused to honor their promise. In addition to that he cleaned out the charge port and informed me it didn't even need repair saving me a considerable amount of money again. He also helped me get the virtual home button option reestablished on the phone since the home button repair was more expensive than the phone was worth. This business owner decided to take the honest and ethical route and it cost him two repairs but it gave him a future customer for life. I am currently driving there now for repair on my Apple Watch because my daughter thought it might be fun to hit it with a drumstick. Bottom line, if you want a quality Company that you can trust, this is the place. Just make sure you call the franchise in Temecula directly and speak to them about your needs and not the 800 service because I still think the 800 service is worthless but this franchise store is absolutely amazing. read more

Terrible experience. This establishment only cares about you if you come in early in the day, of course if its not too close to their lunch break. Will not help you towards the end of the day because they hate their job and don't want to fix your issue so they can close the shop early and go home and play videos games. My Note 10+ has a software glitch. I commute over 200 miles per day for work and can't upgrade my device because I don't have the spare 16 hours it will take to transfer all my information. After talking to my carriers tech support and Samsungs, I was referred here. They said it would be a quick process and that their authorized team of technicians would be delighted to help me....wrong. I came in and no employee was behind the counter, after 5 minutes someone came out, I explained what the issue was and told him what needed to be done. I basically did all the work for him before I came in, to make his job easier. Without even looking at my phone, he said I can't help you come back tomorrow when it does not interfere with my clocking out time punch. I am sorry... but I have worked in the telecom industry for over a decade and unlike him....I actually worked for Samsung and this is not how you treat your customers. If his priority is leaving work at 6 pm on the dot he needs to go sell chocolates at a youth baseball game so that he can leave when he wants or simply lock the doors an hour before to not continue to mislead others. read more

The first time I came went over the weekend, and had them inspect my phone. I filed a claim thru assurion insurance for my cracked screen on side of front of my phone. They inspected the whole phone front to back and and said it would cover my insurance and they will also diagnose and check audio, speakers and etc. They couldn't fit me in that day at 3pm due to closing at 5pm and would leave my phone. So I decided to come back few days later. I came back, another guy was there and looked at phone and was trying to upcharge me saying my back side of phone is damaged. I literally was like "No its not" and had mention I was here over the weekend and had another person check it and it was covered thru my insurance. He was actually working that day I came back, who was the Manager. I even describe the first person who looked at my phone, he was there. They pretty was saying there going to break my back screen due to using a samsung machine to fix my phone. I literally was like how is that my fault if you break it. That would be on you guys. Anyways told the manager, I'm going to call Assurion mind you he was like I am going to leave notes, go ahead I will also let them know you were trying to scam me and upcharge me. Spoke to Assurion, exactly what I thought they were scamming me and trying to charge me for something that is covered by insurance. Assurion refers me to ATT in Corona where they have repair techs. I went to ATT and the Tech Rep inspected my phone and said they can fix it and there was no additional charge, I mentioned what UbreakIfix it said to me, and the Tech Rep from ATT said, if we broke the back of the screen due to the samsung machine, its on them since its not my fault and it is covered. Wow! Just like I thought, so glad I did not go thru UbreakIfix to pay them something that is covered. They were just trying to make a profit. Sketchy and shady! I am absolutley appalled by the lack of service and vile mistreatment I received simply by calling to ask if the business would be open the following day. I called minutes ago and spoke with a guy named ETHAN who Identified himself as the STORE MANAGER. I informed him that I had filed a claim through Asurion and had planned to come in on Saturday, but thought I would call in advance to make sure they were open due to the current restrictions statewide with COVID-19. ETHAN cut me off before I could finish my sentence and stated "how am I supposed to know if we're going to be open, dont you watch tv, didnt you see the governor speak on T.V.? I informed ETHAN that his tone was quite unpleasant and aggressive and that I as a customer who has used this business once before (only a year ago) is surprised by such a decrease in customer service. I also informed ETHAN that I am well aware of the Governor's orders, in fact i work in healthcare and have been dealing with the pandemic daily and did not appreciate his condescending and maligning statement. I asked ETHAN to speak with the owner but he stated "you're not speaking with anyone." ETHAN then proceeded to state "I don't care what you do or what you think you can go somewhere else you will not be serviced here" and he abruptly disconnected the call. I have contacted UbreakIfix headquarters and have filed a complaint. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Asurion regarding this matter. It is an absolute shame that one despicable individual can ruin the image of a company almost instantly. I truly hope that this is addressed because this ETHAN is clearly incapable and incompetent of dealing with customers by acting in such a disgusting manner. read more
