Everyone has enjoyed participating in them and Feet First really does does a great job in creating a fun and exciting teambuilding event that builds camaraderie and engagement. Props to the teams: Sat-Ian (Team Captain), Gary, Doris and Arlene Sun-MC, Amber, Andy and Dan This year's obstacles were crazier and even dirtier than last year. I remember last year I barely got wet and/or dirty and I dried off fairly quick. This year was BANANAS!!! Mud, puddles, foam, water, inner tubes, slides, color, and then some. I was happy I got thru the monkey bars without falling into the water/mud pit. I was not happy that the next obstacle (foam inner tube) I was shot with foam in my face going down the water slide and I almost drowned by getting ran over by another inner tube into the water pit. WOW! Thereafter, you have the revolving balls. You have to get across by walking on the tubes without falling into the muddy water. FAIL!!! Almost drowned in 4 ft of water. Then the injury with going up the ladders. I sustained a deep cut on my knee and started to bleed. I ran pass a First Aid booth asking for a band aid and got shut down with a "we're not first aid". Then whyTF were you in the first aid booth?! My fave was the big gigantic slide at the end of the course! You dive head first down the slide. YIPEEEEE!!!!!!! I have to admit, some of the challenges were pretty intense and nuts, but it sure was a LOT OF FUN!!! By the end, we were soaking wet, muddy, foamed and colored. CRAZINESS!!! Our team started together and finished together thru all the moans, groans and pains - hand in hand crossing that finish line!!! Team Yelp represented well!!! Switching up to WIPEOUT form is so much fun when you wear a costume! I've worn tutu's during a…read morerace but never gone full costume mode til the ROC, and why not when you're supposed to be RIDICULOUS! I dressed up as Alan from the Hangover as best I could and surprisingly the facial hair and wig stayed on through the race thanks to some well placed super glue that burned like a MFer! The ROC obstacles were a blast! Adult sized slip and slides, wrecking balls, tarzan swings, and huge slides??? Who can ask for anything more? It's just a shame you can only go through once...officially. But the vibe from your fellow ROCstars is awesome...none of the I'm bigger, faster, stronger than you attitude. It's the ultimate fun atmosphere from start to the awesome afterparty. Speaking of which, Lucid Dossier totally rocked and took the party to the next level! Only downer for me was the free beer...Miller 64? Really!?!? I'd rather drink my own piss after a keg of Guinness! Oh yah and the so called "beast" obstacle, total waste of time and worst excuse of physical exertion.

You get really high up and feel like you're balancing on wobbly ropes! There is a final zip line that goes incredibly fast and is a perfect end to the experience. Wholeheartedly recommend! The host also gave us cold water to end the experience.

They give the kids a little passport to stamp after they visit each activity area. If all the passport pages get stamped, kids get a 2nd round in the race for FREE. Or you can buy a chance to go again for $5. The booth areas were all free too. They got to catch cliff bar wrappers in a machine, color, do some little workouts, get free mac n cheese/rice crispy treats from a vendor. Take before/after photos in front of the Kids obstacle challenge backboard. The challenge itself was fun. I didn't give 5 stars because I was disappointed by the lack of mud. The event photos made it seem like there would be more. So I hyped the kids up for that! There was only 2 real chances to get muddy at the end. They had food truck vendors, water stations, bathrooms, an area to hose down. No bag check area though, unfortunately. All and all, we had a great time. Got some great GoPro footage and would do it again. We didn't spend any extra money there so that was nice. Ticket was $50/each but adults are free.

Fun event for our Young Adult Ministry We had reservations for two spins on the tracks with the…read moresecond one being the final race. We were a group of nine racing and myself as a spectator. We ordered pizzas, wings, sodas, and I added some tots. After the races, the food was set up in one of their rooms. The food was good bar food. We played some games. We shot pool. Overall fun experience and it went smoothly and the staff were very nice and accommodating. I did like having a break between the two spins around the track. It gave an opportunity for everyone to regroup and check how they did.

This was our first time coming here with my husband and our kids, and overall it was a really fun…read moreexperience. We originally wanted to all drive together, but were told that adults and kids can't drive at the same time since the cars are different sizes and it's for safety reasons--which is completely understandable. Because of that, my kids were the only ones who rode this time. It's also important to know that it's not based on age, but on height when determining who can drive, which I thought was helpful. The staff did a great job explaining everything, especially the flags and what they mean, which made us feel comfortable right away. We went during the week, and it wasn't crowded at all, so my kids actually had the track to themselves, which made it even more special. One thing we really loved was that they received a printout of their lap times. It made the experience feel more personal and something they could take pride in. They also got to choose a head wrap in their favorite color and keep it, which was a nice touch. The only downside is that you have to purchase a membership in addition to paying for the laps. However, the membership is valid for a year and can be used at this location or other locations, which helps justify the cost. Overall, it was a great experience, and my kids had a blast!

It's an honor to be able to come back to this Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego and run this same obstacle course as the past and future Marines! These Drill Instructors are INCREDIBLE; their dedication, their fitness, their determination to motivate others and oh yes... their ability to pick out that 1 boot out of 80 in a platoon, for making a minute mistake. It's been over 35 years since my boot camp and I still can remember my 4 Drill Instructor's names and faces. They still motivate me in my hiking endeavors. I work for Living Spaces and our team came here for some team building experiences. I have to say we all learned lots of new things about each other. How to work as a successful group powering thru the rope courses. How to communicate better with each other. How to listen and accept one another. How to respect one another. And just basically team bonding at its best. The instructors were very patient, informative, and reassuring. They kept us on our toes the entire time. I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone who wants to get some fun team building done.
