AVOID! Same as other comment on here - but worse! PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW AS I SWEAR WHAT IVE GONE THROUGH IS BEYOND MADNESS BUT HAS ME LAUGHING NOW THAT IM WRITING IT FOR OTHERS. Been renting for 8 weeks now. I have a nice personal car that's unfortunately in the shop needing a major repair and I haven't driven ride-share in over 6 months but I figured I would jump on and make the money needed for immediate bills and my SUV repair. I found UCARS AS ITS THE FIRST TIME ever renting a vehicle and it was easy-ish. They lie and tell you to come on down they have cars and you can be in and out . So I made a appointment and STILL WAITED 4-5 hours. The office I swear is like a mix of a Tim Burton nightmare with cheaper by the dozen . You don't wanna be there . A small 100 square foot office with 20 people of every demographic shoved in. Dirty people, SMELLY people, kids crying and farting and touching everything with parents letting them play tag in and out everyone. Then the staff for the most part acting like there working. (There are a couple awesome staff members but 90% of them are use I was given a 2012 Prius with 230k miles. My first time ever being inside a Prius. My first couple hours in the car was awesome. I put $10 in and it filled the tank like 40% ! It was awesome. Then that $10 got me SOO many miles as it was averaging 49 MPG or so. I was stoked .. well two days go by and a rattle noise started coming from the back of the car . I tried shrugging it off , until it got louder to the point of embarrassment and the customer knowing something was wrong. Well like it always happens, on a ride farthest possible away from where I live and during a ride. This car engine broke, and I mean full engine failure, so I'm stuck for hours upon hours upon hours calling this in, getting a tow , etc - by the time I get it towed into there shop it was a whole day, and I'm needing a car to get back to driving and money, did that worry them since it's there cheap car I'm paying ALOT of money for that broke? NOPE, days go by and nothing as there inventory was ZERO. After days and days of waiting I finally get into another Prius and it's sorta same scenario with condition. Long story short within a week or two the car is burning a quart or two every other day, lights are coming on, and once again this car totally bums out on me ! This time I knew it was going out after a week or two of evidence with the oil, and the car took a dump at my apartment, well no joke since what I just went through getting them there last car that screwed me over 100 miles from my house, and doing all the leg work with tow trucks etc with ZERO REMORSE, COMPENSATION OR EVEN A THANK YOU. When this car took a dive. I sent them pictures and evidence of what's happened to the email we were told to send to. And just left it sitting in parking lot, after 10 days and them not receiving there weekly payment. They call threatening me and eventually demanding that I return the car that I have 4 hours to answer or the cops will be called and I'll be charged with felony grand theft and a bunch of stuff. Well funny is all they care about is money obviously, cause it took them 10 days to notice they hadn't been paid. But if they would have just looked at there email 10 days back I documented EVERY THING and said for them to come pick up there car as I'm done with them and not putting another ounce of effort into getting them there car... funny is after all this, the management still wanted to charge me the weekly rate when my second car was broken in my parking spot .SCAM ASS COMPANY read more

Maintenience dept will no longer approval cabin and air filters when getting an oil change. To save a dime they are requesting we now go to the office and have them replaced. So the driver is 100 percent inconvenienced by having to service their vehicle at two different locations . And in the past I had to beg for my wipers to get replaced. They told me I had to buy my own ... Unexceptable ! read more

This company shouldn't be allowed on the Uber or Lyft platform. They have questionable fees and policies and make it almost impossible to keep the vehicle. The customer service is very rude and don't keep notes if arrangements that you have made do it's always something different when you call them. read more

AVOID The car- black 2016 Toyota Camry se with 217k+ miles I received a MECHANICALLY UNSAFE car and no one at ucars will answer repeated Calls (get placed on hold every single time I call before I can even speak) Texts to Michael AND the main text # Emails Check engine light on Low oil pressure light on- hood won't open for me to fill it with oil (not that drivers should have to) Check charging system light on Maintenance required light on TPMS light on VSC light on Check vehicle stability light on  Steering wheel that rattles loudly at 60mph (when it could go that fast) Won't accelerate past 25-40 in drive (rpm revs from 2-4 or 2-7/8 and car won't accelerate) Right front tire that doesn't hold air and has to be filled ($2 charge each time) many times a day. It is at 8-11 psi every single morning. When putting the car in reverse, it makes a loud sound like the brakes are having an issue This defective car should have never been rented out and prevented me from ubering and doing Lyft. Clearly no reputable mechanic inspected this car. read more

This company is worth taking a look at. Nikki is fabulous. Great vibe, super reliable and friendly staff. Great newer vehicles.

$350 a week, insurance & unlimited miles included. Slightly older cars, but they pay maintenance as well. You just have to have signed up to drive with Uber or Lyft. Able to drive for multiple platforms, and it takes about $300 to get started. They check your background, same as Uber or Lyft would, and you need a checking account on file for direct withdrawal each week. If you don't need the car anymore, you drop it off by Friday at 3pm, very easy. read more

After renting a car from these fraud artists, I will never do it again. Hands down the worst experience ever. The car they gave me was in the shop for an entire day right after getting it. They told me nothing about how they conduct business and after my card being stolen, I contacted their hr department to let them know I had the money but had to wait to clear up the mess with my account. They ended up turning off the car and leaving me stranded with my son in the car. Now, after SEVERAL attempts to contact them about making payments, they never contacted me and my card for payment whenever and for however much they please . read more

Right now, I needed to get in the car for rideshare. The money is really good out there because all the snowbirds are in town and it is the busy season for driving for Uber and Lyft. The problem is is that I like to work multiple platforms and most other companies out there will only let you work for one platform. Another problem is that other companies will limit the amount of miles you can do and will charge you extra for unlimited miles. This company was able to get me in a car with unlimited miles that I could work with any rideshare company. The process was pretty easy and simple and I really like the car that I got. I got a hybrid Toyota Prius and it's saving me a ton of money on gas. I'm now heading the road and hope to make a bunch of money on New Year's Eve as well as the busy season. I have good things to say about this team and I really like working with them so far. read more

Do NOT use UCars under any circumstance! They make an appointment with you and keep you waiting for hours. Their cars are old, beat up, filthy inside & mechanically unsafe. Go anywhere but here, this is literally the slumlords of rental cars. read more
