I've been a member at UCATAN for almost 3 years now. It is completely satisfactory in every way. Every staff member has been friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I am grateful that they cared so much and worked hard to stay open for their customers during this difficult epidemic. Its helpful to have a few different locations in my area. The tan I get is amazing! It's natural and does not rub off on anything. One session in the tanning bed and I'm tan for a week! I highly recommend them. I also like that I can walk right in and rarely have to wait. I am on the unlimited plan where I can spray tan and lay in the bed as many times as I want per month. I feel like it is worth every penny. I am completely satisfied with my service which includes unlimited spray tanning and tanning bed billed monthly. read more

When it's cold or rainy, I head to Ucatan to get warmed up in their tanning beds! I buy a monthly membership from October to April when the weather has the potential to be lousy. I have no tan lines, so I know the bulbs work. Go try out their beds! read more

I keep tanning to a minimum but need the light therapy as well as a healthy looking glow so I tan 2-3x monthly. I've had a membership at Ucatan's Huntington Beach "Warner Ave" location for years. I have to tell you that "cleanliness has just gone way downhill" in 2021 as evidenced by these photos; One can usually judge the quality of a business by here restroom clean this as if they care to keep the bathroom immaculate it shows that every details important when it comes to the customer and especially evidence by a restaurant having a crappy bathroom pardon the pun usually the kitchen is also not tidy. Why are you being the bathroom here is just not clean and I have left Chevrolet comment to different staff members that he hate we come in for a luxury to 10 rejuvenate and catch a 15 minute break in the world but we go to the bathroom to wash her hands after the Tan to was our hands, fix our hair and so on but their bathroom is in horrid condition. People take tanning very seriously and like going to place like massage envy or similar salon for a facial or a massage you know we expect it to be epitome of clean and luxurious but not here at all. Even the walls of the tanning booth absolutely leave something to be desired so I will no longer visit this location and only use the Beach Blvd., Westminster which is always immaculate. Bummer because I live in the Huntington Harbour area so I'm literally less than a half a mile away from the Warner location so that's kind of infuriating but "have to have" cleanliness for sure. I came to this place about three years ago I was calling around to get prices on tanning services. What I found out is that everyone around pretty much averages the same. What stood out to me the most about this location was Fam and her kind customer service. Taking her time to speak with me, making sure I understood every information that was given to me. I really like it here. The girls are friendly and helpful, especially when I was signing up for my membership. She took the time to go over the different options with me even though I was pretty indecisive. They have several different types of beds and spray tan machines and everything is current...I can't wait to try them all! Good place to tan. Love that bed 3 has A/C because if anyone tans they know the beds can get hot. Great feature! Staff are nice and friendly customer service. Ucatan tanning place is a great place. The machines are well mentioned and very clean. The team is very nice and helpful. I love that there is tons of parking at the front and they have best tanning products. When I use their machine they tanning doesn't fade for at least a month. I have been going to the Warner location for over a year now and love, love, love this place. The girls are always so friendly and Nicky ALWAYS has some outrageous and hysterical story to tell. I know my visit there is never going to be quick but that's because I stand around socializing with the girls either before or after. The rooms are always extremely clean and they offer good deals. I did read some reviews about canceling your account being difficult but I disagree. I did cancel my account for a couple of months (only to save money, not because they did anything) and it was totally easy; scan your finger and done. It was also super easy to sign back up again as well. I have read some other reviews stating the ones that give positive reviews must be friends with the employees and I will say this, I was not when I started going there but they are friends now because they are so personable read more

I started coming here years ago when it was independently owned. I like buying a month unlimited at a time and can't do that now that it's a U Ca Tan. The place is beautiful now and the fancy beds are amazing but the regular low pressure beds appear ancient and aren't much worth the trouble. The staff is pretty knowledgable and helpful. I haven often had to wait. Facility is clean and air conditioned. Parking is easy even though it's in a complex with a big gym. My only complaint would be that there are speakers by the headrest in the beds and you can't change the station, you have to listen to what is playing. I wish there was headphones available so I could easily just use my iPod. I'm still pretty pleased and the membership prices are pretty reasonable. Ill keep coming here. read more

Pretty basic salon, and does its job well. I would prob give this place 3 stars, but the lovely girl who is there a lot named Ashley is a real doll! Usually tanning salon have snotty young girls working the front, but not here! I think Ashley has turned around my idea that only little orange brats work at tanning salons. Absolutely beyond angry. Today is the 2nd time I've gone to this place. The first time was great, the gal who helped me had lots of tattoos I don't know her name but she was amazing and knew her shit, today was a different story. The girl who helped me today obviously didn't know shit about the beds. I told her last time I got a little burnt on my nose and she opted for me to use a certain bed that gives me a less likely chance of getting burned. Well I wa sonly in it for 8 minutes and my face is beyond burnt and it is extremely painful! Never coming back because obviously the gal didn't know what she was talking about. I trusted what she said and regretted t immediately. I am not even comfortable going out in public now and I don't know how long until my face goes back to normal. read more

I have tanning here religiously for wayy tooo long!!! (Member for 6 years) But what can I say... Im a tanning junkie. I go to all three locations this one happens to be the shortest distance from my house. After reopening on Springdlae my only complaint is that i hate that parking lot. Its so tight and very difficult to pull in and out onto Warner. All that aside. I love UCAtan because they are open until 9 and open until 6 on Sundays. I also like that I can go to all three locations and they do a lot of buy one get one upgrades. The girls are always really nice and the beds are always clean. read more

I went to the Springdale/Warner location today on a referral from a friend. I told the girl at the counter I had never tanned before and she explained very kindly and in detail all the memberships and packages available. She was honest and provided me with excellent customer service. I wish I knew what her name was! She had long straight light brown hair. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because there was a blond girl that was standing behind the counter and after trying to smile and be kind to her and include her in conversation, she managed to keep that sour look on her face the entire time. read more

Not a huge fan of this place before because I burned my eyelid. BURNED EYELID! I've never had a problem tanning anywhere before and have tanned my face for the full 20min. However on this day I tanned it for about 4 and got home and looked like a pink eye patient. And that was 3 months ago and my eye is still f'd up. Maybe not completely UCATAN's fault, but I'm layin some of the blame on them. read more

Good location and great prices. Customer service is so so they take forever to take the customers and they take customers ahead of others when I come to tan I wait on average 5-7 minutes just to get seen to get a bed to tan in. Some of the girls don't consistently clean the beds so you have to wait for them to clean them. The place is not the nicest. No candy small towel no water to spray your hands no extras. It's clean for the most part, but check on the sides of, and behind the tanning beds themselves, and you'll find tons of dust and garbage. It's not okay for a place where you literally strip down most, if not all your clothing. Girls, if you read this, know that I adore you all, but clean those rooms!!! I used to like this place a lot because it's clean and inexpensive for a monthly membership ($19.95/month for the lowest power bed). HOWEVER, they recently changed their policy so now it is $19.95/month PLUS a $49 start-up fee....WTF? So $70/month basically if you only want 1 month (which is all anyone needs to build a tan)...Like OK fine, I know there are a lot of fancy tanning salons who charge this normally, but don't act like it is $20/month when it is not!!....Won't be returning here :( read more

When I moved to Orange County to go to college I had no idea where to find a good tanning place. Luckily, I found UCATAN. The prices are incredibly reasonable (membership ranges from $19.95-$125.88 a month) and all the girls that work there are very friendly, helpful and courteous. Plus, this place has $10 Sundays, which are absolutely amazing for a college student's budget. :) Another plus with the poor economy right now is that if you need to cancel your membership, they have an option called "Save Away" where you pay only $5 a month to keep your account. When you re-activate it you get reimbursed with a gift certificate, which can be used for tanning products, upgrades, or retail merchandise. I have had a membership here for about 4 months now and I don't plan on leaving. read more

I'm seriously in love. I have their basic membership and I cannot compliment their service enough. I usually see Kelsey and she's super cool. But everyone I've met is way nice. I got a spray tan here before and loved it, I just didn't like how quickly it faded so I decided to try the beds. I have never used one before which they were Aware of so I had no knowledge. I used the mega bed and they asked if I wanted the full time? I said yes, question mark. However they did not let me know that since I had never used one before I should have started lower. Anyways, my boyfriend and I were badly sun burned and it sucks. I feel like the staff should have prepared us for these measures. Also had no idea how to work the damn thing and they didn't feel the need to show me. But A plus for cleanliness. read more

U-CA-TAN has a great promotion going for their mystic tans! Only $10 on Sunday. Their staff is very friendly and helpful, and the salon is always clean. However, the waiting room is small, and when there is a wait, customers feel somewhat stuffed in there. Additionally, their mystic tan..although it is cheap, it is not the best quality. Usually, mystic comes in 4 shades; at U-CA-TAN, they only give you two options. Additionally, they do not provide each customer with their own bottle, rather, they just use a general big bottle (probably still sanitary, but who knows?) I've found that other places have better quality mystic tanning. Good for the wallet, but you can definitely find better quality for a little bit higher price. read more

I'm just now getting around to writing this after the recent Easter holiday commotion, but I came to the Warner Ave. salon on Easter sunday with my niece and I was beyond pleased with the service we received from the two sweet young ladies that were working. They were very helpful and told her the best way to get tan before her High School Prom this upcoming weekend. They were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable! One had brown hair and the other was blonde..I forgot to get their names. I haven't been to a tanning salon for a few years but WOW! I was impressed with how clean and well put together the place was. The beds were all very nice when the girl showed me them and told me all about how they work and what different things they do.
