I don't really exfoliate or put on lotion. And having someone cut my toenails, soak them, rub my feet, cover them in hot wax, soak. Oh and I got a shoulder massage. So0o good!! I love it. Good people! Great value and very relaxing place. I don't get to do this often yet it's sure a nice treat when I do. Funny comment. My dad said "don't tell anyone!!" LoL that was funny. Guys. I appreciated that Christine was happy to accommodate my nail art request, and she took special time and care on my manicure, checking in consistently to be sure it was what I wanted! I came here for a fill I asked if they could do the design on the second picture they said yes anything you like we can do. So I stayed it took over two hours just for a fill, mind you I have gel x nails then she cut my pinky while filing once she started to do the design of the silver rings I told her that's not right or will be the same she said well that's all I got I don't hv the materials to do it I said ok well then you should not have told me you did when I asked. I then told them to just leave my nails without the design so she starts the clear coat and finishes then sprays my hand w alcohol... remember she cut me when filing... I jumped she crabbed my hand and held it and said poor baby. She wipes them clean then puts oil on my cuticles and then sprays again w alcohol I said stop got up and said that's enough I'm done paid and walked out. The first pic is how I left w my nails. Also I was left with all the the dust all over my arms and black clothes not once did this lady brush off any of the power from all the filing she did not even once did she try to clean it up on my side nor her side! I've gotten my nails done here multiple times and I usually enjoy it and think that it is worth the money and the trip after a stressful week but sometimes the quality can vary depending on timing or even if I am by myself or with others. I'm relatively young but I have my own job and live comfortably, I come in with my mom and my family often and there is never a problem with service. When I go by myself or with my younger sister I am asked to pay before getting my services done. It has happened multiple times and only before my nails are even done. I tipped before getting my nails done an hour before closing and it was very rushed and the paint was just not clean at all. I can totally understand wanting to be out at a decent time but I paid close to 70 dollars and my appointment was an hour before closing. I'm not one to complain at all and I totally understand but I could honestly do a better job myself a it felt a lot like they thought I wasn't going to pay or something so they made me pay before. Not a too bad of an experience. The nail technicians are sometimes spread thin and your service can be rushed. We were advised that our pedicures would take about 1 hour and would include a hot stone treatment for $58 dollars plus tips. We never got our hot stone part of our pedicures and it was over in about 30 minutes. We actually didn't realize our pedicures were over until we saw our nail technicians working on other people. Maybe we'll try it again or just go back to our regular spot. read more

Today I was gardening with gloves on and 3 nails on my left hand came off inside my glove and one on my right hand! Their product is cheap and the man who did them was horrible. I complained about the nail polish not being all the way up and when he was done I looked like I needed a fill already. The man got mad and yelled at me in Vietnamese and then the owners wife said I'll fix it. We both get the top-of-the-line detox pedicure (with the tropical citrus scent, it's the best) and make full use of the massage chairs. He gets a 30 minute shoulder massage and I get a full set or fill as necessary. I am a healthcare professional so I really just wanted all the dead and dry skin removed especially from my hands and cuticles. I don't paint my nails or keep them long. Went in for a mani and pedi and I wasn't impressed at all. The water on my feet was scalding hot and I still have extra and dry patches of skin around my fingertips and cuticles. I've been coming here every few weeks for the last 13 years. I found the salon on NY Eve one year, after my regular salon (at the time) was unable to fit me in to repair a broken acrylic. Mily not only fixed me up, but had plenty of time to do an entirely new fill for me. Every employee at the salon is friendly and works hard, I've never had bad service, even when my regular nail tech is out (which is very rare). Mily has been my tech since that first emergency appointment and she's always done everything she can yo make sure I walk out of the salon looking and feeling great. She's a licensed nail tech and an esthetician. This is the first place I've ever felt comfortable enough to relax completely and be able to get a wax (and Mily did a fantastic job). She always takes care of my nail needs and wants, she's not afraid to try out new designs and have fun with me. Tina is the nail tech who does my pedicures and is just as enthusiastic and amazing. She always thinks of new ways to use the colors to achieve new palettes. I've never been disappointed when I walked out of this Happy Nails location. I wish I hadn't cleared my phone of photos, but I've added what I have :) On top of that, Mily has gone out of her way to make sure I can get in to see her when I need to - even if I've had to miss an appointment. She's very kindly stayed late for me at the salon just to make sure I didn't have to wait longer than necessary to get my nails done. I've had awesome designs for every holiday and beautiful nails year round. This is one of the few luxuries I always figure out how to budget. They also stay on top of all of the new options and styles - today I got an ombre design that I'd never seen before but is my new favorite thing. Don't recommend... not quality work.. and talk badly about customers in Vietnamese. Went in for a regular mani/pedi. The woman who did my mani took probably 20 min in total ( including the 10 min hand massage) to do my nails. She kept speaking in Vietnamese that it would take her a few minutes to do my nails to the other staff. She rushed through everything and put the menu in my face last minute and asked me which service I finally wanted ... and said ".... oh... " when I chose the middle service. she barely wiped off the sediments of the scrub and painted over oily nails. I looked under the cuticles after I left and there was still residue from the scrub/lotion/ paint clumped underneath. The lady who did my pedicure didn't do all the services listed on the menu option I chose. She also rushed through my service as the lady who did my nails kept telling her in Vietnamese "she said she'll tip you later" I gave my normal tip Inspite of their petty behavior. Complimenting people on their nail color choice but talking shit/complaining about your customers in your mother language is not appropriate business conduct. read more

I have been coming to Happy Nails and Spa for almost a year. I usually come without the appointment and still can see any technicians. All staff here are very sweet and polite. I usually got a dip powder for manicures as it lasts longer than gel in my opinion. I usually see Michelle, the expert on nails design and dip powder. She will use the dip powder and cure the color for at least 3 times so that they last longer. Thus, saving me more money. They use hi end products so the color will stay longer. For pedicures, I ask for Kim as she is the expert with in grown toe nails. She will dig until she is sure that there is no in grown nails left behind. I must admit that I love the feeling of getting the in grown toe nails out. A little SD, I know. I'd recommend this place to everyone. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I came here because it was one of the few spots open. I had to come in the back door and was sat right away. I got a gel pedicure and a fill with gel, and my mom got a gel mani. My nails looked absolutely terrible I asked for ombré on an accent nail and it looked nothing like what I asked for. My nails were painted as if they were already a week grown out. One of my nails was filed crooked and I asked for a tapered square shape and they were all different shapes. My mom pretty much got a polish change because they did not take off any of her cuticles. My nails started to come off the NEXT DAY, so I had to go somewhere else and get a polish change. I refuse to even go back and have them fix my nails. $135 for the services WAAAY to much for the quality of service we got. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

I got regular manicure pedicure. First thing is the 46 dollar one doesn't include cuticle cutting . JUst FYI. Then the real issue was the lady that did toenails put the toenail polish when I was wearing my slippers it was uncomfortable. I wasn't in a hurry not sure why she insisted on putting my slipper on . It was uncomfortable and stressful because I did not want her to put polish on my new slippers. I should be able to say and you would think they would listen . BUT NO! So much so, that over the years, when we were in town we would stop by for a mani pedi. We stopped by today, to the New location, a few doors down from where it used to be. And even though it had been over a year , many of the ladies remembered us. They did a top notch job, as always. For the people that complain about the price of 25 bucks for pedicure...you have no idea how lucky you are. This is a great price!!!! Twice now I have had an appointment only to get there and have them ask me to wait 20-30 minutes. This morning was the second time in recent weeks. If they didn't have enough people on staff, call me and let me know so I can change my appointment.
